They make too many mistakes. There's been a ridiculous amount of times where I show up for an appointment and the time we chose via phone is not the time in the computer system when I get there thus creating a Domino effect of schedule problems for their day. This has caused me to miss procedures, because they didn't have time, because they screwed up. 3. Their bait and switch scams. Multiple times they called me to tell me about a sale, but then when I'm ready to pay all of a sudden, there are brand new terms and conditions and changes of information. I'm over it laser away. The swelling, lumps, discoloration, and contour irregularities have been present continuously since the original treatment and have been documented throughout the past eight years by multiple medical professionals. Shortly after the filler was placed, I sought evaluation from a nationally recognized injector and trainer who diagnosed malar edema and advised that the filler had been improperly placed. This was my first experience with tear trough filler or any filler. Since then, I have consulted numerous injectors, vein specialists, and oculoplastic surgeons, all of which is documented. Contrary to your statement, there is extensive published discussion within the aesthetic community regarding the long-term complications of tear trough filler, including persistent swelling, malar edema, Tyndall effect, migration, and filler remaining detectable years after injection. These are recognized complications and not claims I have invented. I have never stated that this experience was a "new" problem that suddenly appeared after eight years. I have consistently stated that it has been an ongoing issue since the original treatment. My review reflects my personal experience and documented medical history. Because of that positive experience, I decided to purchase a Groupon and book another treatment at their Irvine location. Unfortunately, I couldn't have been more disappointed. My appointment was scheduled for 1:50 PM, and I live approximately 30 minutes away. At 1:30 PM, I called to let the receptionist know I was running five minutes late and would arrive at 1:55 PM. She told me that was completely fine. At 1:48 PM, they texted asking if I was on my way. I couldn't respond because I was driving. Shockingly, at 1:52 PM, they had already canceled my appointment, marked me as a no-show, and sent a message saying I would be charged 50% of the service! I arrived at exactly 1:55 PM, just as I had promised, only to find the door LOCKED. Nobody would answer or let me in. I called customer service, and even they couldn't reach anyone at the Irvine location. I stood outside waiting for approximately 30 minutes until an Uber delivery driver arrived. Suddenly, an employee opened the door to accept the delivery. When I approached her to explain what happened, she was incredibly rude and dismissive, saying she was on her lunch break and didn't want to talk to me. So apparently, they had time to open the door for an Uber delivery but couldn't take a moment to help a paying customer who had called ahead and arrived at the agreed-upon time? What makes this even more frustrating is that I genuinely liked SEV Laser after my experience at Huntington Beach. I was happy to support the company with my own money after initially being introduced through a PR collaboration. Unfortunately, the Irvine location completely ruined that impression. I understand businesses have cancellation policies, but customers should not be penalized after receiving verbal approval to arrive five minutes late.
