Meanwhile one of them goes over to the shoe display and erases the sale price. They should have honored the display price but these guys are opportunists. Although they were busy and had 5 other repairs to complete that afternoon, Brad stopped what he was working on to help with my wheel. Even though he was busy, he took his time to make sure my wheel was solid and in good condition for the next day's event. One of the best bike shop experiences in my 73 years. Brad gave me some good tips and was easy to talk with. His repair cost was about half what I had expected and would have paid at my LBS in Minnesota. They had a lot of inventory. They also rent bikes. Overall it was an excellent interaction and I definitely will return to Bicycle Outfitters on my next visit to Grand Junction. I highly recommend them for repairs and purchases.
