I wanted to do this so bad but would get the shivers thinking about the details of the procedure. I was driving home from work one day and heard on the radio all the amazing results people have been experiencing with Dr. Yaldo and decided to go for my free consultation. From the moment I stepped in to the moment I left, every interaction with a staff member was outstanding and that same level of support and care extended to Dr. Yaldo himself. He explained the process from start to finish, his experience in the field (which is outstanding, btw) and the advancements in technology in this field that enable a fast, painless, and very effective results - not to mention the fact that he owns and uses the the state-of-the-art equipment. Knowing i've been wanting to do this for so long, and feeling very comfortable with the staff and the Doctors, I decided to schedule my surgery date right there on the spot for the following week. And i'm happy to say, a week from that date i was able to throw all my unused contacts away! The. Best. Feeling. Ever. Never will I ever have to wake-up in the middle of the night to remove my sticky contacts because i accidentally fell asleep wearing them. Or be inconvenienced with having to put them on and take them off constantly. And glasses? buh-bye! unless for style/fashion off-course :)! All joking aside, this was the best decision i have ever made and so glad i chose Dr. Yaldo and team to take this journey with me. Talk about fast recovery, the day of my surgery, I went home and took a nap, woke up 5 hours later and was able to make dinner for my kids!! If you've ever thought of doing LASIK eye survey, all I have to say is, call Dr. Yaldo and go in for your free consultation. You will not regret it, plus you have nothing to lose, really you don't. You'll be dealing with and A+ team who can help answer any question you may have. I highly recommend them!!

I was required to pay upfront for a glaucoma test, despite my insurance confirming this isn't standard for in-network providers. They refused to provide an itemized bill, failing to meet transparency standards under the No Surprises Act, leaving me unable to verify charges. I'm now escalating to the Office for Civil Rights to enforce my HIPAA rights (45 CFR § 164.524). I've been coming here for years and had enough. Dr. Yaldo's dismissive attitude was unacceptable--he barely explained my test results, offering a rushed 3-minute talk and sample drops. I get it- I'm not a money maker Lasik patient. This approach prioritizes profit over patient care. I cannot recommend this practice to anyone seeking transparent, respectful care. My audience will hear about this experience.

I had thought about doing LASIK (I didn't even know what SMILE was until I came to this facility for a free consultation) for a few years, but never came around to being serious about it until my employer offered FSA. I looked online, and this facility had the best reviews, so I decided to give them a call. I would never try to cheap out on a life-altering surgery on my only pair of eyes. Everyone that I had dealt with was extremely friendly. If my memory serves me correctly you will have your free consultation, then a few days before your scheduled surgery you will go in for another checkup and Dr. Haddad will walk you through the process. The surgery was pretty quick and went smoothly. When I got home I went straight to bed, woke up with some minor pain (I had forgotten to take another Tylenol), rested for a bit, and then went back to sleep for the night. The next day I went in for my checkup and everything turned out great. My vision is now 20/10. I didn't experience any of the concerning side effects (e.g., glows, difficulty driving at night) that some encounter. The only thing that I noticed is that my eyes were a little dryer than normal during the winter months (having your heater turned on will obviously remove moisture so that made sense) and this is easily remedied by using artificial tears (I rarely needed to use, but it's good to keep some at home). I would highly recommend to anyone that can afford corrected eye surgery to come here. Remember that you get what you pay for, so while this place may not be the cheapest, it definitely is worth the cost. Also for those that do not know, SMILE does not require the creation of a flap (quicker recovery time).

After the office visit and for anyone new, please do not provide any issues unless absolutely necessary, cause they run with it. Had my exam, the dilation lasted about 6 hours after my visit, I had dr Connolly - he was exceptional in diagnosing my cataracts which to me are not that severe yet. However --- for everyone who has a cataract, their strong recommendation is for surgery and doing it as soon as possible. After our exam and prescriptions were provided, they sent us over to an area to schedule our surgery, unknown to us. We were just looking for information about it. First of all, I have been to 2 other doctor offices for my eyes, none pushed surgery, but this place does, there were people ahead of us and after us. The woman who schedules the surgery was very pushy and that to me is unacceptable. So while the staff was very friendly (with the exception of the woman who schedules the surgery) and the exam was exceptional, I had to lower my rating from a 4 star to a 3 since the surgery part was pushed. We are not getting any surgery at this time.

Treated like a number; Waste of my time and money…read more SUMMARY Informed Lake Lazer (3) separate times prior and during my appointment of a long-standing issue with my left eye; Was given an exam and glasses that immediately gave me a migraine behind my left eye; Got a second opinion and found that the prescription was grossly wrong, and somehow had both mis-diagnosed my left eye AND ignored my telling them; Asked for a refund and was shown the NO REFUND POLICY that I had signed. Only bright side is that I was only getting glasses, and not LASIK! (I tried to give the full story, but was limited on characters, so....) Here are some of my takeaways from Lake Lazer of Milford: - The entire experience made me feel like I was cattle being pushed through. The morning of the appointment, I had been asked to come in early, as they were ahead of schedule, but then after the exam, waited for over half an hour for the ophthalmologist, with an assistant apologizing three times, finally confiding, "I don't know what's taking so long." After he did see me, honestly, I could not pick his face out of a six-person lineup, as his back was to me the entirety of his 3-5 minutes in my presence. Unfortunately, it is like many physician practices lately, where it is purely about the number of patients that can be seen in a day, and not by the quality of care provided. This is evidenced by the fact that I indicated to their staff (and him explicitly), THREE separate times that my left eye has a long standing issue, and NOBODY happened to notice that they put my left and right eye as being identical. - They view THEIR time as being more valuable than YOUR time. When I first asked for a refund, the office manager told me, "I wish you would have spoken to me earlier... I *often* have to tell patients that the initial eye exam might be off and that they need to re-test." (WTAF?) I couldn't believe what I was hearing. So, I googled, "How accurate are eye exams?" and google's response was "Eye exams are extremely accurate, if performed by properly trained staff, and with adequate time so as not to be rushed." By the matter-of-fact way that they OFTEN have to have patients re-test, indicates that they do not adequately train their assistants, nor do they care about YOUR time, because if they get it wrong, well, YOU just come back in and expend another hour of your life. They're at work anyways, what does it matter to them? Personally, I am a small business owner, and when people waste MY time, especially with no sign of remorse, it irritates me to no end. - They are more focused on the $$$ than the individual This is pretty obvious to me, because everything that has been said in this review, has been said to the office manager, and in rational, logical, non-emotional ways. I paid for an exam that was faulty, and glasses that were faulty. I got a second opinion, and proper care, from another source. I don't see why I need to be monetarily penalized for their incompetence. If I find that MY company has failed to provide adequate service, then MY company is going to give a refund. It seems like that is common logic. Why this is not the case for Lake Lazer can only be speculated. Learn from my mistakes. Instead, go see an optometrist that talks to you face-to-face and whose sole focus is 20/20 vision.

There is another doctor there, Dr Jennifer Burlingame so I made appointments for my son and myself. ( I cannot find any reviews on her as of this date) My sons first appointment was made for 3:00 but the day beforehand I was called and they moved his appointment to 3:40. When we arrived at 3:30 we were told that we had missed his appointment and since the office is a "very busy" one that he could not be seen. I told her how we had been called and told the time for the appointment had been changed and for her to just forget it and to also cancel the appointment I had for the following week. She said then that he could be seen. So we sat and waited.. and waited. We waited 25 minutes in outside waiting room and then another 35 minutes in the back. It was over an hour to see the doctor. I thought it would be better for my appointment. I got there just before 2:00 for my 2:20 appointment. The outside doors are locked from 1:00 until 2:00 for lunch. I thought.. wonderful... since I was first inside and had an appointment just after lunch. surely my wait would be minimum. There was only one other patient waiting who came in after I did. The other patient was called back first and then I was called after. At 2:40 my son texted to see what the hold up was. The doctor showed up just after 3:00. Visit with doctor was about 10 minutes. Third trip was better with only about 20 minutes of a wait for my son, it was a just after lunch appointment as well. The doctor seems very nice but my first rating will be in the middle and is most influenced at this time by the long waits. As we have more interactions with the doctor I will edit/update my review.
