Had an excellent experience. Our water died on Sunday night and so I called their emergency line. We explained the situation and scheduled for the following morning. They arrived exactly on time assessed the situation and told us that we needed a new well pump. They replaced it within three hours. Very reasonable price. Called Zekes for service on well pump and Craig called back and asked some questions. Said he would be out following day between 1:00-3:00 PM so left work to be at the house. Craig never showed up, never called, and never heard from him or Zekes again. Very unreliable. read more

Zeke s pump service is by far some of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. There is Craig, Hunter and RJ. They were able to repair our problem when everybody else had told us it wasn't possible and saved us 1000's. And Craig was true to his words. They got it done within a day and actually were able to get me water the day that I actually lost my water! They were friendly , respectful, just plain really really nice people. Craig, the owner came to my house the morning after we lost our water( well issue) and after looking at our mess he told me not to worry that he would have things looking up for me and figured out by the end of the day, and again, he was true to his word. And I was a mess, I didn't know what we were going to do without water. So I trusted Craig and I believed him and I am so happy I did ... when you have somebody like Craig that comes along and knows what they're doing and actually wants to help you, and after everyone single other person you spoke to drops a bombshell on you , it gives faith that good people do exist. After reviewing what we needed done, I was told that he "would think of something and call/let me know" later that day. It's been a week and a half. I reached out to them again and didn't hear back. Given their demeanor, it was obvious the job wasn't worth their time. That's fine - but have the professional courtesy to honor your "word", and call back and say so. Great guys, excellent work, fair prices. Our pump died on the weekend, and we had called another big franchise-style company that came out, barely looked at it and wanted to charge a fortune for a whole new system. We saw the number for Zeke's on a sticker on the pump, gave them a call and they were amazing. Craig actually tried to fix the equipment we had instead of selling a whole new product, and when it turned out the pump was just bad, they installed the new one the next day, and we still paid far less than the other company quoted as a minimum. Came by to look at replacing the Sump Pump and said they would do the estimate. A week later nothing. Followed up. Said he would drop it tomorrow. He never showed up. Sent an email. They never responded. Wish I had a chance to review their work but never made it that far. read more

Told us to put a gallon of bleach down our well every time he worked on it and opened it up which we found out by another company later on, that he didn't have to pull the whole 200 ft of pipe out of the well every time he came here for a small pebble clog...after we all got sick because the bleach just wasn't dissipating the 1st time & only time we took his suggestion, & like he said it would, he then said he told us to just put, a little bleach! Not! He told us the entire gallon to kill bacteria because he was dragging our well pipe all over the floor to the outside. Left our place a muddy mess, too, since our well is in our cellar. Friends had similar problems with this company. Would not recommend for work on a well... basic plumbing possibly. Your drinking water is important and shouldn't be compromised. Get a company that specializes in well maintenence and repairs. read more

This company is definitely the best! Not only did they attend to our broken well extremely quickly (on a weekend), but their owner and the guy that did the work were both extremely courteous, professional, friendly and helpful. They explained what they would need to do carefully, and did it without problem and very quickly (about an hour). Their pricing is very reasonable, and in fact, they put a higher-power pump (1HP) in for us for the cost of the 3/4HP pump. With children in the house, having no water for more than a few hours is not an option. They also advised us on several options down the road (larger storage cylinder, etc), but at no time put any presure on us, If you have a well, Zeke's is quite honestly about the best you can find! Don't Call Anyone Else!! I live way out of Zeke's normal service area, Woodbury CT. After unsuccessfully dealing with two local water service companies and a local plumber who quoted to me estimates between $1000 and $2500 for a new system and or pump, Craig, the owner and his employee Eric came out and fixed my problem in an hour. It was only a broken valve!! A Far cry from the others estimates.... I thank god that there are still people like Craig left in this world that are honest and caring. What a savings. This company in amazing!! Our sewer alarm went off 2 days before Christmas at 4:30 PM. They came out the very next morning, diagnosed the problem (dead pump) and proceeded to travel across the state to get all the parts needed to get us up and running by noon the next day (Christmas Eve day). I had a pressure tank replaced about a year or so ago. When I asked about the paint can that they placed supporting the plumbing coming off of the tank, I was told to leave it for extra support. After promising me that they would return to remove the old pressure tank, they never showed up or returned phone calls. Just last week I called them to replace the pipe and fittings coming off the new pressure tank. One appeared to be leaking and the rest looked old and rusting. They never returned my call. FORTUNATELY I found a very competent well company that replaced the failing parts. Zeke cross threaded the connection into the pressure tank and that had to be fixed. If they had been unable address the cross threading, I would have had an even bigger problem. Over all, sloppy work from a company that doesn't return calls to fix things done poorly or left undone. read more

These guys incredible! We'd been having serious well water issues for over 2 months and had spent a small fortune with a different plumbing company for repairs and new pumps, none of which worked. Zeke's set aside time during a busy season to get us a new well replacing the one which was at least 50 years old. They ended out spending many more days than they had initially hoped due to unforeseen problems. Craig and his employee busted their butts the week before Christmas in order to get us water and didn't charge us for all the time they spent on it. We have a sewage grinding pump and the red warning light was flashing. Called Zeke's and talked to Craig while he was in the truck leaving another job. He promised a "free estimate" and he and his helper arrived less than an hour later. His initial thought was that a float was responsible for the non-running pump, and I was told that a float would be about $120. I was at home the whole time, and checked with them at least 2 more times and reminded Craig that I was promised a free estimate. He said he had to figure out what was wrong first and then could tell me. 2 hours later they said it was all set, and the bill that was then presented was $461.56. I was shocked and talked to Craig about the amount and the lack of the estimate being given first. He said he just gave me the parts price. I asked how much labor was and he said normally $150 an hour for sewage. He said to take $100 off and admitted he should have given me the estimate. He commented that we were lucky that it wasn't the pump as that would have been "a couple of thousand dollars". Hopefully, the grinding pump was properly repaired and we won't have any problems. If you use this company, be sure to insist on an estimate that includes labor! read more
