I hate the idea of leaving bad reviews especially for a local company. But given the lack of customer service, here goes.
On several occasions the pre-booked Z Car has been late. Whatever the reason, sometimes things go wrong, that's life. However when I call to find out when my taxi will be arriving an argument almost always ensues. It usually begins with an ill tempered, quick off the draw controller exhaling the company mantra in the customary mono-tone, " We never promise an exact time, we'll get to you as close to the booking time as we can".
Which begs the question, when will that be, approximately?
Response, "Anytime".
What is anytime? Anytime in the next hour, in the next week or the next life?
When is anytime??? Having used Z Cars 5 days a week for the best part of a year, dealing with controllers who for the most part just want you off the phone, I've had my fill. Occasionally late I can cope with, but the non existent customer service..... Sadly, I'm taking my business to another taxi firm. read more
