This was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I hired this company to pump a 500-gallon septic tank that had only been receiving minimal use for approximately 2-3 weeks, primarily gray water and limited toilet use. I was also away from the property for an entire week during that time. Based on the actual usage, there is serious reason to question whether the tank was properly emptied at all. What is even more concerning is the complete lack of customer service afterward. I called six times today and once the night before, and every call went to an answering service. Not one call has been returned. A reputable company addresses customer concerns, especially when questions arise immediately after service. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Extremely poor communication, questionable service, and zero accountability. Do your research before hiring them.... I would give them a -5 read more

I highly recommend Zeb Watts! When I called, Teresa was super kind, very helpful, and knowledgeable with the questions I had. She was able to get me on the schedule for same day. Brad came out and he was awesome as well. He answered all my additional questions (I've never owned a home with a septic tank so I hammered him like an inquisitive 7 year old about things I should know about my septic system.) he answered every one of my questions and was still very nice regardless of it being cold outside and end of the day. Called to have a 5' pipe replaced that goes to my Septic Tank. I was told that they don't really do that, that a Regular Plumber can replace that pipe too. They would be 3 weeks, if they even came out. I guess it was the name Zeb Watts SEPTIC threw me. Wow, unbelievable! read more

We had a contract on my father's estate and the buyer and or the buyer's real-estate agent ordered a septic inspection on 12/8/2021 by Zeb Watts Septic. Although we knew nothing about an inspection it was done, and the result listed on the paid Work Order receipt was "recommend all new system". On the copy of the Work Order, we received and noted under "System Information" the box by, Recommend System Repair, was checked. To be clear under the Additional Remarks section it did state that there was an issue with the lid. However, something had been clearly whited out and the statement "recommend all new system" had been written in a different handwriting. Also, the attached "Voluntary Inspection and Assessment Report" has MULITPLE discrepancies within it and just to list a few: 1. It has the tank being pumped. It was not. 2. Under "My visual inspection of the tank when empty detected the following cracks, leaks, or other defects." The statement no plug, not watertight was written in. Again, the tank was NOT EMPTIED. 3.Compartment walls listed as not present. Which requires the tank to be empty. 4.Under "Structural defects in the tank". The word NONE was typed in. Although The Assessment section lists that "It is not a sanitary nuisance" and a Disclosure Statement lists that "I detected cracks, leaks, improper fit or other defects in the tank, manholes or lid. And suggested "Recommend system repair (See work ticket) is listed. After we questioned the, whited out section with recommend all new system written in a different handwriting, and the discrepancies in the report itself we requested to see the unaltered Work Order. The buyer's realtor was rude and unprofessional regarding our request and subsequently the buyer rescinded their offer. After installing a new lid, we had the system pumped and inspected by a reputable septic co. the system passed and none of the issues listed by Zeb Watts Septic Co were and issue. read more

Took great care of our septic needs. Used them back in February, and had lived in our home just over a year. The gentlemen that came out were professional and knowledgeable. Our septic tank had not been pumped prior to our purchasing the home. After all was done I was assured that there was more than a year and half a worth of waste in the tank. I've used Zeb Watts several times over the past 4 years for septic pumping and inspections. I've learned they are great if all you need is a standard tank pumped. However, I recently asked them to come evaluate the septic at a new house I purchased where a small amount of sewage was coming out of broken plumbing (from the direction of the tank) where the septic connects to the house. I clearly informed them I needed an evaluation of the system and didn't know if it was a tank issue, a drain field issue, or something completely unrelated. I was told the cost for evaluation would be between $250-$650, depending on what they identified and how much work it would take to evaluate. I told them the septic hadn't been used for many years, and it would likely need pumped at a minimum. Two men arrived the day of the appointment and poked around in the ground for a few minutes, then said they couldn't find the tank. They advised me to call a plumber who could run a camera with a GPS into the line and then they could come back and check out the tank. I was confused as I thought the reason they were hired was to evaluate this themselves. They also told me that based on the age of the system, I need an entirely new system. Then, they charged me $242 for telling me nothing I didn't already know. I called their office and told them I already knew when I hired them that I didn't know the location of the tank. If this is a requirement for them to do a job/evaluation- and they have no way of identifying it after they poke around for a few minutes with their stick, they should make that very clear when the appointment is scheduled. I already knew the system was old and MAY need replaced. I didn't need them to charge me $242 to tell me this. I am very disappointed and will not be using Zeb Watts again. If you need any real work done (beyond pumping a tank in a known location), this is not the company to use. read more
