We moved here from the Birmingham area, and it was a common joke that every time we ordered from Taco Bell at least one thing was always wrong or missing. It never failed. Now, at this particular Taco Bell, we order a variety of things (and make substitutions to the standard items frequently) yet, it is extremely rare for anything to be wrong or missing from our order. One of the ladies who is there quite often when I pick up food (I think she might be the manager) is always kind/polite/smiling, and on one occasion, I saw a young female employee listening to a man rant about a problem with his order. (I completely understand getting frustrated if your order is wrong, but this man was speaking in a belittling tone to her). She still managed to keep her cool. I know the bar isn't very high for this kind of fast food restaurant in the first place, but I'm telling you from experience we have found the Talladega Taco Bell to be much more efficient and friendly than some of the other Taco Bell restaurants we have frequented in the past.

The catfish was hot and seasoned just right. For the sides I had fried green tomatoes and potato salad. Neither was the best that I ever had but it wasn't bad at all. I'll support this spot again the next time I'm home. It seems to be thriving in a town with slowly dying small businesses. Hopefully it's still around.
