If you want to enjoy that experience, you need to go to Jumbo's. When you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile and a welcome home feeling. Then there is the food. We had the meatloaf today, and we have not had anything like it since being at granny's. The meat was savory and flavorful from the first bite to the last. I had the green beans. They tasted like they were straight from the garden to being jarred in the kitchen. The Mac and cheese was obviously home made from scratch. We finished lunch off with cherry cobbler. And yes , you guessed it, just like granny made. On top of all that, sitting there felt like sitting at a table in granny's house with all of your aunts, uncles and cousins. Even the patrons were friendly and engaging. We will be back because we hear the hamburgers are the best in the state, can't wait to find out for my self.

Showing off my slightly feigned, overly enthusiastic reaction was a fun, engaging way to support a small business. One slight negative is that the only drinks offered were Kool-Aid and "canned soda." As for the food, my BBQ plate with sides of mac n cheese and greens was alright, pretty good even. Although my friends' opinions of their plates varied. Compared to other BBQ places I have been to before, this one didn't really stand out.
