Worst customer service ever. Food is always mediocre. Super long waits even when ordering online.k

DON'T ORDER THRU APP HERE. I placed an order using a rewards discount and was later told the order never went through. However, it showed it went thru in the app and the payment was still taken from my credit union account. Because of that, my son was charged full price in store while the app order was also charged, turning a $16.64 order into $43.69. Zalads are good, but not at triple the price. I called and spoke with the store manager, Calvin, who seemed very rushed and dismissive, saying he was extremely busy and needed to get off the phone. I also contacted Zaxby corporate and didn't get much help resolving the issue. I do enjoy the food, but this is the only place I've ever had an order show as completed, be charged, and still not be fulfilled. So be careful when using the app at this location. read more

Literally every time I come to this location my order is messed up in some way shape or form. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch quesadilla and asked for no ranch, only to discover my order was saturated in ranch. It even said it on the ticket no ranch so my order was taken correctly, just nobody seems to pay attention at this location. Extra frustrating when you get all the way home and realize they messed up. read more

Zaxby's used to be so good! The service at all locations I've visited recently has been horrible as well as the food. Cold, incorrect orders, nothing fresh. So disappointing considering I know how yummy their food can be. read more

This is not the first time second time or even the third time that we have ordered from Zaxby's and have it delivered and we get half the order. Made an order on Zaxbys website. For delivery when a delivery came we were missing half of our order. Two people didn't get to eat. Contacted Zaxby's. All I wanted was to get the items that we are missing and I was willing to come and pick it up . The manager or whoever answered, the phone said that they were manager, said that it was delivered by DoorDash and it was DoorDash's problem and there's nothing he can do for me and he hung up on me. I called DoorDash and DoorDash said that because I made the order on Zaxbys website And paid on Zaxbys website Zaxbys need to be the one to correct it. Tried to call back Zaxbys and it just rang off the hook nobody would answer the phone. It cost me contacting my bank and putting an investigation. So now I have to wait the 10 days for the investigation to go through to get my money back if it was just 20 bucks that would be one thing but I paid almost 80 bucks for food. Shame on you Zaxby's your customer service sucks.! read more

This is a brand new location, only been open for a couple of weeks now. First, we stopped in the 1st week they opened & it was an absolute DISASTER!!!! They were not at all prepared for the amount of business they were getting. Our food took 40 minutes to arrive for us to dine in, they ran out of napkins and tea...it was just a nightmare. BUT, the staff was friendly and working their butts off, so we felt really bad for them & thankfully, we weren't in that much of a hurry. We decided to give it a try again last night for dinner, hoping that things had calmed down. Well, things have calmed down. This time they had tea & napkins. It still took a little longer than it should have to receive our food, but it was less than 15 minutes this time. The staff was still friendly & our order was correct & tasted yummy. I think the staff might need a little more experience to speed up cook time, etc., but they are improving. I will go back if I'm looking for a quick bite & some tasty boneless wings. read more

This has to be the worst experience I have had at any restaurant. We ordered our food and always check our food before leaving. Just to make sure that we get what we paid for. Well, when we checked our food this time we were missing (2) chicken fingers. So I had to go inside and show the receipt. When I did this they questioned me as if I was lying, then they wanted me to go back to the car and bring back in the food. So I did go back in to have them check the food they just gave me in the drive thru. Then they continued to accuse me of lying saying they know the food was in there. This was only (2) chicken fingers. This experience over $2.58 fingers. Not what I would ever expect. The attitude and lack of customer service was not where I would expect at all. read more

I really like Zaxby's. I've have visited several in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The Zaxby's on Central Ave has pretty good food however the fountain drink machine is gross. My wife and I tried several different flavors and they all tasted horrible. I told the people behind the counter and all they said was sorry. I will be the first to say that I love Zaxby's but this location is just not cutting it. The line for the Drive Thru was wrapped around the building so I decided to go inside. There was at least five people in line inside. This is not because Zaxbys is so delicious but because they are so slow. After ordering I waited another 15 minutes before my food was ready. When I got home with the food, none of the wings has any sauce. Very disappointing! read more

Don't waste your time and money. On a good day the food is gross. Went in today and ordered a chicken sandwich, got a spicy sandwich. Asked they to fix the sandwich and got told I was wrong (clearly not, the sandwich was dripping with neon red sauce) I protested that I didn't want it and they told me the go to chick fil a instead. Asked for a refund and got told I wasn't going to get one because I bit the sandwich. Save yourself the hassle and go anywhere else. read more

Hands down worst fast food experience I ever had..and that's saying something. After ordering food for my parents and son at the drive through I pulled up to the window and paid for the order. After that we waited at the window for 20 min before the lady came up and said the have to cook the kid chicken fingers and would be longer. How does a chicken place not have kid fingers ready to go?! Since they had my money already I waited and they finally came with the bags of food. Took the order and left. Upon inspection of the order..the kids meal bag only had fries and a Graham cracker inside with an empty box where the chicken fingers should be! We waited all that time and they literally put an empty box in my son's bag! Lazy workers who don't give one crap. I wish I got the girls name ..I will not be going back there ever again. I wanted so badly to love this location. Tried them several times. The drive thru lane couldn't be slower. Orders have been wrong. Food - IF you get it, isn't too bad but not as good as some other locations I've tried. Have had to leave the line many times because it just didn't move. Unfortunate drive thrus are extremally limited in the Knightsville area. If you don't want to stop and you don't want McDonalds, you're out of luck. read more

Of course I love this Zaxby's on Central Avenue in Summerville. I like to stop by this location and get some chicken whenever I am in that area. I like that this restaurant it is tucked away and easy to get to and in and out. The service is friendly and they take their time to make sure that you get good food. I like the interior of this Zaxby's with the lights and feel. This is one of my favorite Zaxby's. read more

I don't know why I keep giving this location chances to make it right. This was the last straw! Waited in the drive through for 20+ minutes. I order a kiddie finger meal (chicken is burnt), fried house salad without tomato and fried onion (fried onion is in it) NO SALAD DRESSING was given even though we asked for it, Nibbler Meal and a Sweet and Spicy tossed Boneless Wings meal. The wings barely had any sauce on any of them! The time before I went, I ordered the Cajun Club meal and the grilled chicken patty was so burnt and hard, it was completely inedible. I don't know at what point this location just completely stopped caring but it's seriously time for a re-haul on management and staff! read more

Fool me once, fool me twice, etc. I guess I just don't feel I get paid enough to be the one to make sure the customer's order is complete. This is the last chance this location has to please me. Waited in the drive through for over 20+ minutes before I finally got to the speaker to order. The young man taking the orders was very polite but so soft spoken, you could barely hear anything he was saying. Good luck ordering because the menu board was not lit up at all. I ordered 4 meals. A fried house salad no tomato, no fried onions with thousand island dressing (fried onions were in the salad and no dressing or utensils were given), a kiddie finger meal (the chicken was over cooked), a nibbler meal (spouse didn't complain), and a boneless wings meal tossed in sweet and spicy sauce (wings barely had sauce on them at all). 3 drinks came with the meals and I ordered an extra since one doesn't come with the salad. I had to ask for it because they handed me the tray with only 3 drinks. Last time I went before this visit, I ordered a Cajun Club Meal and the grilled chicken was so burnt and hard, I had to throw the entire sandwich out. I don't know why service suddenly went downhill but the company seriously needs to overhaul this location from the manager, down to the staff! We go to this Zaxby's all the time because it's just down the street. The service has been usually good, very friendly staff, and the food consistently good as well until recently. Lately the chicken tenders taste like pure smoke. They taste like somebody blew cigarette smoke all over them and they are basically inedible. The onion "rings" were small, greasy pieces of breading, no onions. My boyfriend said the wings were just "ok". Two separate drive thru trips...first time we requested no tomatoes on our salad. When confirming it at the window, the staff assured us there were no tomatoes. Got home and guess what??!! TOMATOES! Second drive thru trip, requested grilled chicken Ceaser salad with Ceaser dressing, get home and we have a fried chicken house salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing! Very disappointed that we now cannot trust the accuracy of our orders and if we return, will have to do that quick check ourselves prior to leaving the restaurant! I read the reviews about the slow drive thru service so I decided to try it out. I checked my car clock when I pulled into the drive and again after I was leaving with my order. Only TWO minutes had passed. Because I wasn't using a stop watch, it may have been slightly more than two but certainly less than three. Also it was approximately 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.
