Zaxby's has had their inside closed for quite sometime now due to Covid still I guess and lack of employees I've heard. It's a shame because there has been many times passing it by because of this. I prefer to eat inside. Stopped here to get something fast. Hate eating in the car. They had a combo special Chicken nuggets with fries and a drink. First time getting these chicken nuggets. They were actually pretty good. The fries were on the cool side and the blue cheese I asked for was in a packet under the fries. How sanitary is that? The packets are laying some where and they put it inside under the fries! The girl made a mistake on my drink and when going back to the window she acted like she couldn't believe I didn't want what she gave, or that she didn't believe she made a mistake. She was rude That's why 3 stars. Not sure when & if I would go back. Not too big on fried food, so it maybe awhile before going again, hopefully the inside will be reopened by then. read more

Very good service. No line inside, of course I stopped in around 8:30 pm. Cashier told me the place was packed earlier in the evening. A long line via drive through still on when I stopped in though. This spot was recommended by someone at the client I was visiting and glad I listened to her: very good recommendation. Will try again. read more

After being gifted a Zaxby's $25.00 gift card for Christmas 2023 by Mom, I finally had a chance to stop by on 6/14/2024 around 6:00pm. This was my first time ever going to or being inside a Zaxby's and my stomach was really looking forward to their chicken. The drive-thru was packed but inside there was only one table with customers eating, and no one in line ordering food. The restaurant looked nice and the AC cold which felt great considering it was blazing hot outside. I stood reading the menu and watching the workers go to and fro, walking behind me and one even standing directly in front of me fixing another order at least three times. After five minutes of waiting I thought, 'Oh well, the drive-thru is crowded and it's dinner hour'. After ten minutes of waiting and not one worker acknowledging me standing there nor saying something like, 'Sorry for the wait, we will be with you shortly and take your order.', my famished stomach decided it was time to move on so I walked out of the place never getting a chance to order. I went directly to Chick-fil-A which also had a packed drive-thru and wasn't that crowded inside. It was a stark contrast, with a very nice Chick-fil-A employee promptly taking the order and giving it to me with a smile. The chicken sandwich was excellent as always and it was a very enjoyable experience. Zaxby's should train their workers better to at least let a customer waiting for 10 minutes that they would soon be with them. Kindness goes a long way and they failed basic customer interaction and could learn a thing or two from Chick-fil-A. They can't just focus on the drive-thru and ignore inside customers waiting to order which is exactly what they did. I will not go back and unless decide on visiting another location, the $25.00 gift card will be given away or sold. Thanks a lot incompetent workers for ignoring a customer and ruining a first time Zaxby's experience. Thumbs down. read more

I tried to Zaxby's crispy chicken sandwich meal is their new spicy chicken sandwich it was delicious it was actually really good I would suggest anyone going to Zaxby's I didn't have to wait in a very long line but the drive-through line in South was very long but I went inside because I just was the smarter thing for me but ultimately I enjoyed my meal I enjoyed the amount I spent for the meal and I would definitely go back would definitely go back read more

I ordered at this location via the app and they don't even understand how it works. Would not give me my food even though I had an order number and a confirmation number because they couldn't figure out how to find my order in the system. Went through the drive-thru a week ago, they screwed my order up to the point of ridiculousness. Call the manager, was told I would get a compensated order, went by today and basically the same thing. And then they tried to charge me for my drink. The girl at the drive-thru window was so incredibly rude that they won't have to worry about me ever gracing their establishment again. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to eat. read more

The smell of old dirty mop water was so strong in the restaurant and the tables were also dirty. Just a good cleaning is in order.

Worst Zaxbys Ever. The drive through was out of order. Out of ketchup. Out of soap. Batteries dead in paper towel dispenser. Bathroom doors squeal so loudly when opened I'm surprised it doesn't disturb patrons. The food was under par. And very under staffed. Definitely will not be back. read more

We stopped thru here on a recent weekend trip down to the outlet mall in Spartanburg. This location didn't seem to be a nice as the one's here in Greensboro that I go to all the time. When we went in we noticed a lot of dirty tables and the floor didn't look like it had been swept in days. Decided to stay anyway since I was really in the mood for wings. I ordered my usual Large Wings and Things combo with hot buffalo and regular wings, with blue cheese and Zax's sauce. I thought my order was a little higher than it usually is here. I looked at my receipt and they had charged me for an extra sauce, even though it's supposed to come with 2 sauces. It also didn't come with the second piece of Texas toast that goes on a large W&T. The chicken fingers were really cold and seemed like they had been sitting around for a while, probably like most of the employees seemed to being doing instead of cleaning up the place. I had ordered the hot buffalo, but we got the nuclear sauce instead. That's not a problem for me since that's my usual, but my friend couldn't take it all. She was stuck with the cold, tough chicken fingers instead. The fries were about as cold and hard as the fingers. They were just plain fries too, there was none of the usual seasoning salt that comes on them. All things considered, you should avoid this location. It's a hot mess. read more

I gave this place fantastic reviews, but no. Now I'm upset beyond belief. The fries and chips are never seasoned, items are frequently wrong (asked for honey mustard, get zax sauce. Asked for light lemonade, get the full sugar kind), and management is grumpy at best. I don't know what bowl of cornflakes I pissed in to set these people off, but I'm absolutely appalled by this crap. I know never going back means nothing, but seriously, just don't go here. This zaxbys was very messy and the drink fountain was splashing and pouring out liquid and no one was doing anything about it other than putting a yellow sign up. The ketchup was empty and after asking for some they still didn't fill it up. The tables and chairs were disheveled and the floor was gross. The tables were sticky and napkins and trash were on the floor. This was the grossest zaxbys I've been to. But it is still my favorite fast food! read more

I wish I had checked the reviews on this place before I made the mistake of eating here. In hindsight I should have left immediately after I walked in to the bathroom that really needed a cleaning. Then the service was sooooo slow and my wings were small and didn't taste right. When I asked for a warm order of wings the girl rolled her eyes at me like I was such a bother. Convenient location in the Cleveland Mall parking lot, right off 74. The decor almost fools you into thinking it is a "sit down" restaurant, but the traditional menu board gives it away. Not the place for wings, but their chicken sandwiches, specifically their Kickin' Chicken Sandwich, are good. Milkshakes menu varies. It's clean and fairly fast. read more

This is the worst Zaxbys I've ever been to. The employees are rude and would rather be on their phones instead of talking to you. The food is cold and sometimes burnt. The place is gross too with tables not being wiped down and the bathrooms have toilet paper all over the floor along with puddles of who knows what. There's mold on the drink machine and the ice tastes funny so that probably hasn't been cleaned too - which leads to mold. Avoid this place!!! It's straight up nasty. read more

We land at Zaxby's pretty often because there aren't many salad options in the food desert that is Shelby, NC. The Buffalo Blue Salad is terrific BUT. This is the only location that it is like IMPOSSIBLE to order it with grilled chicken. It must be in the computer some complicated way because every. single. time. the cashier looks at us like we are from a foreign land. I have never ever had this problem at any other location. The new drink machine was the worst idea ever. Too many options and the placement doesn't work so, if there are more than 2 customers a drink line backs up blocking both the cash registers and the entrance to all the seating. Poor planning. The speakers that they use to call your number are set at volume 90000. It's startling. AND the music is unbearable. Christian rock is not my dining choice. It's pretty terrible. We only return here because honestly there aren't any other options, and that's not saying much. read more
