Stoped here at this location for the first time in awhile and wasn't very impressed. First thing is the prices have gone way up which I kinda understand because of the way the world is today but, $70 for 6 meals. It's fast food not a sit down restaurant. Second thing is all the boneless wings we got were "all" hard and not good at all. Service was just "ok". All and all just not very happy about the over all experience. I knew that there would be a problem the moment we walked in and saw the entire staff partying. It took awhile for them to even notice us standing at the counter. I ordered strips and cheese bites, my spouse the oriental salad. Then we stood there while many patrons arrived, were served, ate, then departed. There excuse was that the cheese bites took a long time to cook. We ordered two drinks and soon discovered the drink machine was not dispensing ice. I inquired and they "knew" about it. It was almost comical as the clerk kept handing out empty cups, only to have patrons come back for ice. It never occurred to him to offer ice in advance of the client having to ask. By the time the cheese bites were "done", the rest of the order was cold. This place is a disaster. The restaurant was filthy despite a staff of over 10 with no customers. Save yourself. Go to Hughey McGoos across the street for something decent chicken strips. read more

I genuinely don't understand how their drive through is as slow as it is, and not even at typical rush hours, just 24/7. My wife and I ordered at the drive through and when we got home to eat our chicken tenders they had a burnt taste to them. They looked fine but the oil they were cooked in was bad. I guarantee you they knew about it and done nothing to fix the problem because that would take someone actually doing something and changing the oil out. We could smell it as soon as we opened the boxes and were just disgusted. My wife stated she was going to call them and report it and I said "why? They don't care. My wife and I went to the Oakwood location today for lunch. We ordered our food and waited for it at a table in the dining room. While we were sitting there, I saw a huge rat run across the dining area floor and climb up the wall by the coke freestyle machine and disappear behind it. We told the manager and she did not offer any kind of apology or try to compensate us in any way. She immediately got on the phone and said someone was coming to take care of it. We waited for our food and debated on if we should even eat. I know most people would have already asked for their money back. The food came and when checking it I found a long human hair in my wife's sandwich. Needless to say that pushed us way over the limit and went to the manager and asked for our money back. She refunded it without any debate. While the rat and hair issue are bad enough, the fact that the manager never even offered any kind of apology was very disappointing to say the least. We will not be going back to this location anytime soon if ever. read more

Ordered a 4 piece finger plate with a drink. The drive thru line was slow but thought that was maybe because it would be fresh. NOT! The fries which are my favorite thing At Zaxbys were warm but didn't taste fresh. The chicken was the same. And was surprised that the Texas toast was tough. By that time, I didn't want the coleslaw. The drink and Zaxbys sauce were good. Went here because we've had good food at other Zaxbys. And we wanted food before we got on 985. The Zaxby's location in Oakwood, Ga. has gone down hill in a bad way this last year. They can't get an order correct to save their lives. I'm not talking about once or even twice it's been consistent for the last three trips in less than a month and I'm done with them. If they've messed up three orders for one person in such a short period of time, how many do you think this crew has messed up over all. I'm not even talking about a complicated order, I'm talking about regular chicken finger plates or an order with 2 identical Cobb salads or ordering a kickin' chicken sandwich with no ranch on the sandwich. The orders aren't checked at all before they shove them out of the drive through window of the slowest drive through in Hall county. Zaxby's is usually a bit above the rest of the fast food milieu, but this one is generally mediocre at best. I've had a couple of orders get screwed up (recently I got chicken fingers instead of wings), and it seems like the portions are getting smaller and smaller and smaller, although this may be a system-wide change. For what you're paying, for how long you have to wait in the drive-thru, and for the size of the portions, Zaxby's really isn't worth it. This only avoids the dreaded single star because to me, a one-star place is so incredibly terrible that you'd actually tell people to go there and see how awful it is for themselves. This is just a place I go to because I have to; it's the closest restaurant to my place of work that isn't completely disgusting. I wouldn't recommend you make the trip out to Oakwood to see how astonishingly mediocre this Zaxby's is - if your local Zaxby's is good, then imagine it a bit crappier. If your local Zaxby's sucks, then imagine it a bit better. If you don't have a local Zaxby's, maybe you can come here and see what a mediocre Zaxby's is like. Terrible customer service! They always mess up the most simple orders....for instance I ordered three chocolate chip cookies when I got home I only had two in my bag. How does that happen maybe they only had two and failed to remember to tell me. My fries are always old, one time I told them that my fries weren't good on my previous visit why did I do that!!! LOL it's like they went in the trash to make it right and gave me the worst fries they could come up with! This place is worse than other national chains like Popeyes or Church's. Their buffalo wings are average, but their chicken fingers have a very weird after taste, possibly from un-fresh ingredients. I frequently have less than great experiences here but tonight was the worst. This Zaxby's often forgets food, sauces, etc. I understand that they close at 10pm, but the experience I had was beyond inexcusable. I placed an order at 9:20 tonight on the app. It told me my order would be ready approximately at 9:35. Upon looking in the lobby when I pulled up at 9:30 and noticing none of the other customers were wearing masks, I chose to go through the drive thru. I didn't reach the box until approximately 9:50 where I checked in. They informed me that their carbonation wasn't working, despite me having already paid for carbonated beverages online, and my options were limited. I chose replacement drinks and continued to the window. When I was helped at about 10 there, they pulled me forward with no explanation as to why. I had purchased cookies so I assumed that was the reason. At 10:15, after watching multiple cars behind me leave, I called the store to ask if there was something specific that was holding my order up because I'd been waiting, pulled up, for 15 minutes. I was put on hold, eventually brought my food, and the order was missing two sauces that I had paid $0.25 apiece for, was given a cole slaw instead of the toast that I ordered, the cookies were cold and clearly not the reason my order had been delayed, and the sauces that I'd ordered with my food were not provided correctly (we asked for Nuclear sauce and was provided regular Zax sauce); although I asked for a sandwich without tomatoes and lettuce-- both came on my sandwich; I ordered 4 macadamia nut cookies and 2 chocolate chip and was provided 6 chocolate chip cookies. After spending over 40 minutes here waiting and being forgotten about, my order wasn't even correct. This was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had here, not a single piece of my over $20 order was correct. read more

Tamara I believe was her name and she repeated my order and didn't mind that I had miss spoke, she just made sure by making sure she heard me right.
