I've been coming to five guys for nearly 10 years I'm not sure why I haven't written a review. This is a super location with great staff so thought I'd give it a go. Got another burger to go today for my mom who craves hamburgers and when she does she only wants five guys. You order at the counter and everything is made when you order it so be prepared to wait for an order these are not pre-cooked and waiting. A ton of options to put on your burger but the basic order is a cheeseburger or double cheeseburger which comes with mustard ketchup mayonnaise tomatoes pickles lettuce onions then you can add other things like jalapeños or even fries to slap on your burger. I always get the cheeseburger and a regular fry With drink which will run you about $15 which is par with red Robin or other gourmet burgers shops. This is a unique experience and well worth the wait if you like a large messy juicy gooey burger!!! Highly recommend! read more

We ordered through Uber Eats. 1 cheeseburger plain, 1 hamburger plain. The receipt attached to the bag shows both as plain. Burgers. However, they had everything + on them. So soggy and gross. We had to take the meat off and wipe them with a paper towel. Then eat the meat with no bun. Absolutely disgusting. Those burgers were $27 but it someone had showed them to me and said I could have hem for free I would have said no thank you. That's how nasty they looked. Do better Five Guys! read more

I THINK the FIVE GUYS @ Hamilton Mill makes a very good burger, but I've never really been a fan of the fries. I THINK the store generally is clean and the staff is efficient, but not always welcoming. I THINK my experience today was one of the best I've ever had in terms of service and food, but I DON'T THINK I can continue any longer to patronize their business. ***** About five years ago I made a conscious decision to reduce or eliminate my intake of Five Guys after paying almost $15 for a double cheeseburger, fries and drink. I found that to be outrageous considering you could get the same meal across the street @ Wendy's or Burger King for about half that cost. But when COVID-19 took the world by storm, like many I began to narrow down my restaurant rotation to places I felt were better quality and more trustworthy... so Five Guys was added back into the regular rotation. But is it just me or is every American Citizen about fed up with skyrocketing costs and corporations blaming it on lack of workers, transportation and higher overall costs? Because unless it's a case of everyone crying wolf, the farmers don't seem to be making more, the workers don't seem to be getting paid any more and I've heard several truck driver's say they are losing money because of the rising cost of gas while companies aren't fully willing to pay higher transportation costs. So where is all this extra added daily profit going? The same meal I complained about paying $15 for five years ago cost me just under $20 today, and while it was absolutely delicious... I'm done! Like for real done! I make a pretty decent income, but I just don't know how America or Georgia as a whole is going to survive this incredible onslaught of high prices and low wages. Almost $20 for a FAST FOOD burger meal feels like total madness, so it's time for me to get off the train. Normally I like this Five Guys, but not this time. I was craving a hamburger and knew I loved your burgers. Placed my order online, drove right over (was at Kohls down the street). When I walked in they said my burger would be right out. There wasn't anyone else in the place, just me. I drove straight home (not even 5 minutes away) and opened the wrapping, I noticed the bottom bun was hard and stale. The burger was slightly burnt on one side and not hot at all. (Almost like they warmed up a cold patty by searing it on the grill). Hard bun, luke warm patty = terrible burger. I could not finish the burger. It was not good. I tried to take bites around the stale bun, but it tasted horrible. Very disappointing considering I was the only customer in the store at the time. read more

My fiance and I used to spend close to $40 back home on Maui at Jack in the Box, Burger King, Wendy's, or other spots back home, but never get as good quality of a meal as Five Guys. So when we come here, we don't mind spending the extra cash for consistently good food, service, and an experience we can count on. It was our first time at this location, and it was a great place to stop before heading over to the Regal theater nearby. We had a great filling, tasty, fresh meal again - two bacon cheeseburgers (one with lettuce wrap), two drinks, a regular sized order of fries, and a salted caramel coffee shake with Oreo cookie pieces. There's lots of other fast food chains nearby, but we made the right choice again. Never disappointed. We'll be back to this location again when we're in the area. Keep it up, Five Guys! I had placed the order via phone 10 minutes before I got there. And the small bag of my order was ready to pickup but the worker who gave out the order with french fries did not bother to check my order even I asked him to check. I had to wait 25 more minutes when every orders were out to the customers. No respect to the customers. Never going back again!!! read more

Five guys is always juicy and simple. Usually always get the bacon cheese burger with Pickles, lettuce and tomato. If you're not trying to have a heart event while you're there, I suggest getting the "little" burger. Plenty big for me. We also share the "small" fries cause true to Five Guys they are a huge pile mostly thrown into that luscious grease bag! We call them the "bag fries". Almost always hot and crispy little nuggets of heaven. Only criticism I have, and it's always the same, MORE bacon. Even when extra is ordered it's still on the skimpy side. Please PLEASE Five guys, we need more sides. Onion rings?? One last thing That would make this place even more yummy would be a sauce bar. I like to have mayo and ketchup or even mustard on hand. A good burger with luxury pricing. Ambience: ========= Five guys is a unique chain of burger restaurants. They focus is pretty strictly on the food, and it shows. The stark white floors, minimalist furniture, loud music and harsh fluorescent lights make it rather unpleasant to enjoy your food in the restaurant itself, but I always manage to see a few families suffering in relative silence here. My advice: get it to go. Food: ===== They have a very narrow focus here at Five Guys: Burgers and fries. But they're pretty good at what they do. Both the burgers and the fries are made to order, from fresh ingredients. The burgers have a LONG list of fresh condiments you can get on them -- with the most common grouping known as 'all the way'. In addition to getting a burger, you could also get a veggie burger or grilled cheese (I guess that makes it vegetarian friendly?) or check out a hot dog or milk shake. But that's pretty much it for Five guys. Other than the free peanuts -- but seriously, don't eat those. And the food you can get here will most likely grow on you... you'll find yourself at 10am on a Monday thinking "dang ... I could really go for a burger today for lunch" Value for money: ===== For what it is, this place is expensive. My wife and I routinely spend about $40 here for a burger, a hotdog and two fries. No, that's not a typo. If you're on the west coast you might find better value in other regional chains, but on the east coast -- I think this might be as good as it gets for a burger and fries. I had a taste for a burger for lunch today. I never go to five guys because is so expensive for what you get. I hadn't had five guys in a while so I got a burger there. Wow! I am now reminded why I don't go there. $7.50 for a Little Cheeseburger. I can go to Burger King or McDonalds and get fries and a drink as well, for the same price. The burger is good but not that much better than anywhere else. If I'm in an upscale sit down restaurant, I'd expect to pay that but this is Fast Food. I went at lunch time and the place was empty, I must not be the only one the last feels the same about their price structure. Surprise! I've never had Five Guys until now. I know, crazy, right? Five Guys has limited seating, especially during the cold and rainy season. At first, I thought that Five Guys was another typical burger chain and I was kind of right but I was pretty wrong, too. The menu is simple and I love that the burgers are customizable. I also like the peanuts, too, which I didn't really appreciate until I got to Five Guys. The burgers are juicy and they can definitely induce a food coma on the spot. The prices of the burgers might be intimidating but Linda, listen to me: it's worth it. Service is fast, the workers are friendly, and the burgers definitely have good quality. What more can a burger place offer its customers? No idea, but Five Guys is definitely on the top of my personal fast food burger places. read more

Let's start on the positive. This location is very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. Now literally to the meat of the matter. In the very name is Burgers, but I can't agree. I walked in and ordered a single burger form the Large or Regular menu. Added cheese, onion, pickle,mustard, mayo to go. Burger took five minutes to prepare and I was on my way home. Seven minutes later at the table I unwrapped my snack and took a bite.....bun, lots of bun mayo n topings..no burger. Second bite more if the same...I looked this sandwich over and see that this burger is TINY. like three oz before cooking. It cost 6.03 with tax and there is more burger in the Dollar menu at any chain... Now I will post some photos of said sandwich, cause I can't call it a burger..sad. I'm going to hit them on twitter. I love five guys, especially their grilled cheeses. But, unfortunately today when I went to order my usual grilled cheese, there was a hair cooked into my cheese of my grilled cheese. It was a somewhat small hair but still of course noticeable because I noticed it and had to pull it out of the cheese. I have to go to work soon so I do not have time to go back down there and request a new one or even a refund, but please check your food. I have not previously had issues with this location, but now I will think twice about revisiting due to the incident I experienced today. And for the record it is not my hair. Although I have long hair, this hair does not match my length or color, and once again it was literally cooked into the cheese...gross. read more

This place never disappoints foodwise. Their burgers are famous and popular for a reason. If you're a fan of juicy, flavorful and guilt-filled greasy burgers, this is your kind of restaurant. The patties are flat and "smashed" versus being thick and firmly shaped. This leads me to believe their patties are more fresh than being cold, frozen blocks of meat like at other chains. I love their fries and always get them Cajun flavored. The fries are thick, soggy and satisfying. They come in a brown paper sack which is all the more sloppy and oddly satisfying. They've recently started offering milkshakes too so you can get your full gamut of the American burger dining experience. My only gripe with Five Guys is the pricing. Their burgers are $8-10 alone and fries are another $4-6. It makes for a more expensive "fast food" outing whether it's for one or an entire family. I would eat here more if it weren't so expensive. Maybe what also stings is that their prices, from my memory, have climbed since I've been dining with them so it's hard for me to accept the premium pricing. read more

Sometimes I forget the little hamburger is huge. A regular hamburger is two Pattie's. The Cajun Fries are everything!!! Don't throw the bag away without looking in the bottom. There are always extra fries! The burgers are made to order. Believe it or not, even when I am really hungry, I order the little cheeseburger and regular cajun fries. Very filling! Oh, and if you like fountain drinks, you will love the selection at Five Guys. Five Guys-Five Stars. This is my favorite burger place. The staff is always friendly and (when not slammed) are always up for awesome conversation. My burger has always been cooked well, they balance the condiments well, and are seriously generous with the fries. I always leave Five Guys full and happy. Five Guys is a bit more expensive than other burger places. That being said, the quality is worth the extra money. With the exception of the time a tour bus unloaded in the store, service is always quick. When the cashiers aren't working the register they can be seen cleaning the tables, windows, and dinning area. Very clean store. This is NOT the first time I've had problems with this location. Just today, I ordered through DoorDash. Grandkids were here and we were busy. We had a milkshake on the order, as well as three sandwiches. No milkshake was delivered and the delivery guy said I'd have to call the store. I called the store and I was told the milkshake machine has been broken since yesterday. They have my cell number but I didn't get a call. I asked for a credit and the manager, Shaheen said she couldn't do a refund but could write my name down and I could pick up a milkshake tomorrow. My grands won't be here tomorrow. I asked for the number of the district manager and she gave me the number for Stewart, who doesn't answer the number and voicemailbox is full. So, counting today, I'm out around 20.00 from this store due to other orders being wrong and not check which was my fault and items left off of other DoorDash orders. I'm through. To me, they are way overpriced for the food they serve and especially when they can't even read online orders. Not impressed even with good reviews. Ordered a bacon cheese burger with lettuce and mayo. There were three quarter size pieces of lettuce and a half slice of bacon. I have never posted a negative Yelp review before, in fact I just registered to post this review. I used the Five Guys website to place an order this evening. The ordering system Worked fine and I even left a tip before experiencing the "service." I followed instructions after the order was paid and confirmed and let the restaurant know I was leaving to pick up my order by clicking a link and then let them know when I arrived by clicking a link. Then when I found my parking spot in front of their store I called to let them know where I was and what kind of car I was in. They sales clerk said they would be out in a minute. 15 minutes later I called again and was told they were busy but he was sure they would have it out to me soon. 15 more minutes later I called and was placed on hold...only I wasn't on hold so I heard them taking orders and talking in the background. I decided to see how long it would take for them to pick up the call. At the 8 minute mark I decided I needed to go inside and finally at 9 minutes and 16 seconds they hung up after I told them in the store that it was me on hold. By this time my fries were greasy and the burger buns were soggy and both were Luke warm. The online ordering system is partly designed to encourage customer loyalty. Never again for me. The ordering system seemed to work just fine but the execution failed. Why order in advance (and leave a tip) if you are then placed on the lowest priority of customer there? read more

Long story short: Let's start a petition to excommunicate Shaheem from Five Guys. Long story long: I went into the Five Guys at Hamilton Mill in Dacula with my boyfriend to enjoy a meal at Five Guys, as always. We ordered our burgers and fries - I ordered a burger with everything they offer for toppings except grilled mushrooms and grilled onions. Everything. Everything including "All the way". We then picked them up when our numbers were called. My order was wrong. No problem! I walked up to the counter to notify someone. The nice young man I talked to told me he would fix it. I tried to hand the man the incorrect burger, but he wouldn't take it. I sat back down after handing him my ticket. My boyfriend asked if I was just going to waste the burger and, famished, I said no and began to eat the wrong burger. Next thing I know, Shaheem (the manager) comes to my table LIVID that I am eating the wrong burger and tells me my order was not wrong. I am a very shy and introverted person, so I let Shaheem bully me into thinking I was in the wrong. It was extremely confrontational and belittling. I apologized to Shaheem and told Shaheem I would just settle for the wrong burger. I honestly felt like crying. I continued to eat my wrong order when a nice lady (that I am very thankful for) told me the manager was wrong to talk to me like that and that whole situation was handled horrendously on the manager's part. She encouraged me to speak up, so I gained the courage and walked back up there with my boyfriend by my side. I gained Shaheem's attention and told Shaheem that the customers around me were complaining about how Shaheem yelled at me, as it was very loud, rude, obnoxious, and hard to ignore as a bystander. I feel bad for the people in the restaurant that had to witness Shaheem's horrible customer service and all around terrible human decency. Shaheem told me I ordered "All the way" with no grilled mushroom or grilled onions (I did not order "All the way"). I showed Shaheem my burger that included grilled mushrooms and no tomatoes. This is when the reckless and uncontrollable anger really began to set in for Shaheem because Shaheem realized my order was indeed wrong. Shaheem walked me to the menu and explained the menu to me like I was a child. At this point, I knew there was no reasoning with Shaheem. Shaheem ripped out a paper and pen and asked me what I wanted on the new burger Shaheem was probably going to spit in. I listed every individual topping. Shaheem brought the burger to me and said her farewells. I looked at the new burger and ... (drum roll please!) It was wrong. Again. DO NOT go to Five Guys in Dacula at Hamilton Mill. There is a way better Five Guys at the Mall of Georgia with no Shaheem. It's worse going a little bit further to avoid getting screamed at in the middle of a crowded restaurant for something that was not your fault. I'm going to do my best to keep people from going to this Hamilton Mill in Dacula location until Shaheem goes wherever all the worst managers go. As someone who has worked in customer service for many years, Shaheem is not cut out for a managerial position. read more
