They wanted Zaxby's, so we stopped at Zaxby's on Taylor Road. I went in to order because the drive-thru line was wrapped around the store. The person taking the order was pleasant enough, but not enthusiastic overly. I had to ask her to repeat a few things because she didn't speak loudly enough. I ordered the following: -- Big Zax Snack (3 chicken fingers with Texas Toast, Crinkle Fries) -- Loaded bacon chicken ranch fries -- Grilled chicken sandwich meal (Grilled Chicken sandwich served with Crinkle Fries and Drink). -- Drinks: Sprite, sugar-free lemonade Lesson - CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!! Yes, I should have known better than to leave Zaxby's without checking my order (especially since we live in Memphis, where there is zero service at most fast food restaurants), but we wanted to get the food to our daughter ASAP - and we wanted to see our grandson! Dinning area needs attention, plenty of people working behind the counter someone could empty trash, sweep floor and wipe down the filthy tables. Bathrooms are a reason to leave before you order. Employee was rude about it and said "the cups cost money, stuff ain't free" so I offered to just refill the cup of water I already had in my car but was empty. And he still refused me. Me and my family were going through here through a trip upstate, and we came in to have our lunch. Terrible service, people at the counter were ignoring everybody waiting to order their food, Tee-Tee was the woman working the counter, and she specifically was beyond disrespectful. She treated everybody including me and my family with a terrible attitude and was very rude. She yelled at us when we were deciding her order and even walked off a few times even though it only took a span of about 5 seconds. On top of that, threw napkins in my face when I asked for some. I'm sure someone spit in my food as it was wet and looked disgusting. This is supposed to be a fast food place where you can enjoy your meal with a bare minimum of the service being mediocre. The food is good. The lines have gotten better, but they do make everything to order. The only lines that are probably longer are Chick fil a. The Absolute Worst Zaxby's experience ever! I shouldn't even have to give them one star! Stopped here on my way back from vacation during a long road trip. Went through the drive through. long slow line at the window around 9:00PM. The staff was rude, first couldn't get my order right...had to repeat it multiple times through the speaker. No big deal speakers can be tough to hear through sometimes. After a long wait in line, it's my turn at the window. They gave me my Coke, my wife took a sip and it tasted funny, and it had some red liquid on the top of the lid. I tried handing it back and the girl at the window said we can't take it back. What?! "We're trying to clean up in here we're not supposed to take it back, I'll just pour you another one." Puzzled, I asked, "you don't have a trash can to throw this in, I don't have a trash can in my car either" ? She finally took it from me, closed the window and started mouthing off to the staff inside that I would make this ridiculous request. I've been to a lot of Zaxby's and never once had this slow and rude of an experience. I never get any napkins or a fork for my salad or anything that you would need a fork for at this location. I asked for extra cucumbers and my salad and paid for extra cucumbers and literally got two cucumbers in my salad. I hardly got any of the onion Chris in my salad and got a nice decent size chicken amount but it was sloppily put together and kind of tasted old and the chicken salad was falling apart as soon as I open up the box it was chicken salad not in the sandwich but all out of the sandwich so I had a mess of a big mess and they need better customer service I would not recommend this XP's good food but bad presentation and you you don't get what you pay for when you pay extra for something when I want extra cucumbers I want a lot of cucumbers not just two or three that regularly come on the salad read more
