This is my second time going to this location ever. The last time was many many moons ago. I was in the area for my free smoothie from Smoothie King and decided to come here for the Monday Deal $8 4pc chicken finger plate. The strips were really good. The fries were edible. They were not piping hot but were hot transitioning to warm if that makes sense. Not too bad. And yes I tasted them time I got in the car. Maybe I should have gotten coleslaw instead of double fries but I am funny bout coleslaw. Now what is diabolical is receiving 1 sauce for a 4pc meal. Had 10+ people who ordered after us get their food before us, we had a salad and sandwich, so they definitely don't know how to prioritize orders as many of those after us were those exact items. Unbelievable! Register server was half body laying across counter. She had to be told by someone in the kitchen I was standing there. After I order, it happened again while I waited. This just happens to be the closest Zaxby's to us and it's unfortunate, because it looks like we will just have to drive farther or just skip Zaxby's all together. My husband left our apartment for a quick Zaxby's run between football games. He ordered and sat in the line for a good 8 - 10 minutes. After spending almost $30 on wings, fries, chips and drinks, he came straight home (literally less than a mile). Had cold, limp fries with no salt. Disgusting. The 10 teriyaki wings were small, shriveled and cold. The chips were cold and the only thing that was slightly warm was one set of the wings. Very disappointing football food. We've given this Zaxby's the benefit of the doubt many many times and looked over errors but tonight will most likely be our last visit. read more

Been here twice. First time had to wait in line for 5 min while the 2 teenaged guests talked with what appeared to be their best friend (cashier) before even ordering. Once I got to order, the food was OK. It did seem to be smaller portions that other Zaxby's. Second time was better but the salad I ordered tasted old. Will not come back to this one. read more

Came here for an early lunch at around 11. Sat in the drive through waiting for someone to respond for a solid 5 minutes. Then when I ordered, it took the worker several tries to get my order correct on the screen. The visit from there on was pretty routine and the food was pretty good. They also forgot to give me a fork, so I had to use my hands for my wings. read more

I understand social distancing. However, I don't understand rudeness or finding hair in my fries. One of the grill workers wasn't wearing a mask either. I went inside to pick up the food and went to throw away the wrapper from my straw and was told I couldn't throw away the trash. They have no trash cans outside either. Worst experience I've had at a fast food place because I ordered my food through the mobile app expecting to get my food pretty soon but I didn't expect to wait there for about an hour and a half. Firstly, I was waiting for my order for like 40 minutes before I got anything but they got my order wrong. While waiting I saw people about 15 people order after me and they had already gotten their food and by the time I got all my stuff they had finished eating. The thing I found most displeasing was I mentioned that I hadn't gotten my order at least 4 time and then when I got it was missing stuff so I had to wait another 30 minutes because the place started to get packed. I didn't see them call for my name after a while so I just went to ask for a refund and some worker came to help me get it fixed but he was raising his voice at me for some reason partially putting the blame on me because I went to leave the food that I had already gotten inside my car so my mother could eat while I waited for the rest of the food but the people working at the cashier knew that I was there and I had complained multiple times but they never let me know they had the food done. Honestly hands down worst experience I had going out to eat and would stay away from this play just based on customer service. read more

Got two salads today. The buffalo and the Zensation. They both might have had one and half chicken strips on them. This is really bad because I love their chicken. The lettuce looked like road kill. These guys need to step up their game to stay there. The food is really good and well cooked. The location is great as well, but the staff messes around too much, always laughing, joking, and talking bad about the customers. Really bad service. Most inconsistent Zaxbys I've ever been too. Sometimes it's ok, but usually it's not. 2 times in last 2 weeks the food has been so overcooked it's hardly edible. Ordered a new type sandwich today and the bacon was dry as bacon bits. Chicken was overcooked and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. Worst Zaxby's I can remember visiting. Got a big zax snack and one of the 3 chicken pieces was about the size of my pinky. The fries were hot but the chicken was barely warm. And when I asked for a bottled water with my meal, the cashier just looked confused and said there's water in the coke machine. Beware: The owner/operator refused to correct an incorrect order, which should have included an extra side order of fries. He was rude and belligerent in explaining how we had all the fries we had purchased. Regardless of whether this is true or not (which it wasn't...there were literally 10 fries in the meal and not an additional order), his approach to dealing with an unsatisfied customer was wholly out of line. Macon, GA has multiple Zaxby's and I would recommend visiting either the one on Northside Dr or on Zebulon Rd.
