Staff was friendly, they made sure my order was input correctly. Confirmed again at the window before charging me. I read the reviews so I expected a wait time and I definitely had to wait much longer than the average fast food but I was prepared for that so it didn't bother me. Once I finally received my food I felt obligated to leave quickly because I knew all the people behind me waited as well. I did a quick look in the bag and saw one big container, 1 small container, and a bag for a kids meal which at first glance appeared correct but after the 15 minute drive to the hotel I'm staying at with my 5 year old and my severely autistic 8 year old I opened the containers to find that the 6 piece meal I ordered only came with 3 pieces. I confirmed at the drive thru, I pulled up to the window and they said "the six piece meal, kids meal and cheddar bites?" I said yes. I paid for a six piece meal, and they failed to provide me with the correct amount of food. So do I spend the 45 minutes it would take me to get the kids shoes back on and get them ready collect the food, go down to the lobby, get out to the car and drive 30 minutes round trip not including the time it takes for them to correct their mistake? Or do I feed my children and have a couple cheese bites for dinner? The latter. I feel robbed. How hard is it to count chicken strips? How hard is it to check to make sure the right food is going out? Just trust the reviews. Expect to wait in line for 20 minutes, and check your order because they clearly can't count. read more

Zaxbys - Receipt showing I paid for what I ordered, but didn't receive. - Fast Food Near Me - Hope Mills, North Carolina

Came in at about 9:10 they close at 10!! i did not get my order until 9:54 , they made other peoples order that came after me that had twice as much as i did all i ordered was a salad and a chicken tender plate. They didn't have any more eggs for my Cobb salad and they even put my salad inside of an actual chicken finger plate because they claim they didn't have anymore salad bowls but I seen them give another customer a salad bowl. Also, they didnt give me ranch dressing but instead they gave me ranch dipping sauces for my SALAD! i woke up the next morning with diarrhea and passed out from the dehydration that it led . thanks to say i will never eat here again . read more

Best shrimp I ever taste the service is kinda good but the ambiance good yesssssssssss

I come here regularly after and during work and I wanted to give this Zaxby's several chances at showing some signs of life. Calling this place fast food is an overstatement. I don't believe I've ever gotten my food in less than 20 minutes regardless if I go inside or in the drive-thru. There have been many of times where it took me just as long to be served. I don't really know what has been going on at this Zaxby's as of late but it doesn't seem good. read more

The lady that took our order through the drive thru was so nice and she took the time to make sure that our order was correct. The kitchen executed our order perfectly. read more

Terrible service the assistant manager was rude and kept skipping me for my pickup order. I waited 15 minutes standing and waiting. When asked by a family if I'm in line he heard me say I'm waiting still and got an attitude about asking them if it's ready when they have a rack for pickups and my food was already done there was no need to wait or be an ass sit with the barb wire wrist tattoo. read more

I just moved back down south from Portland. Haven't had good food in a long time, especially fried chicken. The sandwich was greater than or equal to that sandwich they had at Popeyes that we all went nuts over. When I tasted the fries I knew the rest of the food was gonna be good. I don't play bout my food. Go eat here. read more

I leave very close which makes this location very convenient, but unfortunately every single visit leads to mishap. If it's not an incorrect order or a missing item, it's the 45 min long line or something as simple as no chicken in the salad. To top it off I see no improvement since I moved here(3 years ago). Worst Zaxby's I've gone through. read more

We got dinner through the drive through on 7/17/2019, we ordered a 6 piece chicken finger plate and a kids chicken finger meal. We went home and started eating only to find that the cole slaw was rancid.. my husband took a full bite and almost threw up. I tried to call the store the following day but I don't have all day to wait on hold.. so here I am on Yelp. I think it's pretty sad that it's become virtually impossible to eat in this town anymore. I mean how old was that coleslaw?! Do yourself a favor and skip this place. read more

To be honest, this place does not have the correct customer service base than other Zaxby's restaurants that I've dined in. My wife ordered one of their burgers and waited about a good fifteen minutes which was decent timing but their cooking was awful as if they rushed it without perfecting it. Comparing the food with mine, the meat looked light pink so it obviously wasn't fried thoroughly. We politely asked them to redo the same order and in five minutes we get the same results except the only difference was the fries were undercooked this time. Awful experience and I don't recommend coming here if you're a fan of Zaxby's. read more

This is my second time going to Zaxby's, and I will never forget the terrible service that I received. I had ordered a chicken filet sandwich, and the filet of chicken looked like it was undercooked and pink. Went to ask if they can make it again, with no problem they made it once again, but when it was given back to me by a different associate, she looked like she had an attitude. When I had taken the chicken sandwich back to my table, the associate was watching me eat it, which I found a little strange and weird. i go over to eat my sandwich, the chicken sandwich was smaller, and cold. They gave me more fries which were super cold, and not cooked all the way through. Overall, I think if I were to crave a chicken sandwich again, i would be going to Chick-fil-A. read more

The food is fresh and the service is friendly and kind! The restroom was very clean and the store had a warm and comfortable environment. I will be there again!!! read more

Let me tell you something the service was TRASH! I had to wait forever and on top of that they forgot something and I had to turn around halfway home when I realized, plus when I got home my order was completely messed up! Also don't buy the cheese bites they're like 5$ and they only give you a handful of poorly cooked cheese bites! read more

This spot is marvelous I'm 13 and me and mom always come here when we want takeout it's a perfect place to get some decent chicken, I love it here I also recommend you the delicious Chicken Fingerz with the Texas toast, coleslaw, Crinkle fries, and Zax Sauce and the Wings Those are my top recommendations so just go on to Zaxby's and have the time of your life by treating yourself. read more

Food is always amazing, staff is always friendly. Thank you for helping me with my Zaxbys addiction

Just waited 30 minutes for some old cold chicken wings. Just lost 20 bucks cant eat it. Save your money

Went there last night. Drive thru. The lady who took the order was very rude and unprofessional. Three employees at the window talking and on their phones. Not professional at all. Food was cold. Not the first time. I would avoid. Better food and service at chick fil a . read more

Not bad. The food was decent, even good. More than passable. But it was a bit on the pricey side and there weren't a huge number of choices. Service was kind of chilly; they seemed standoffish to me. Very polite but not very friendly. I agree that it was very clean. I probably wouldn't go to another Zaxby's unless I was in a hotel and it was that or Burger King. read more

"In my opinion",,, when Andy the manager is on duty the chicken tenders are magnificent , hot & fresh, tenderly cooked NOT hard,,, good size pieces,,, bread is fresh and fries are seasoned correctly. I have NEVER been disappointed with the food when he is working / supervising the kitchen. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a great meal !!! read more

Great food great Service I love zaxbys food is always piping hot and fresh the wait is never to long and the flavors are always on point

I literally just left from this Zaxby's and when I tell you the customer service I just received from Patricia, was outstanding. Very nice and informative. From her sincere gesture to her smile. Little things like this matter and I am a very satisfied customer. read more

I have been to many Zaxbys and this one is the worst. Every time we go I have been there e have to wait in the drive through for about 30 minutes, and something with the order is always wrong. I wish I lived closer to another Zaxbys because I would go there instead, because this one is not up to the same standards as the rest. read more

We come to this zaxbys all the time! The staff is friendly, the food always hot and everyone is smiling!

I was very impressed with the staff at this restruant. I got my food and no time and had a enjoyable time eating here.

The only reason I gave them 1 star is because I couldn't leave none at all. They are terrible. Idk what happened but they've gone downhill. No one listens to what you order, they just give you what they want you to have which is my best guess as to why they food is always wrong. They are constantly pulling cars up because they're too slow on the inside and even after sitting forever (if you don't have to go inside because they've forgotten about you) for the food to come out it's not even hot like it's freshly made so what was the point in pulling me over to wait? let me not get started on the attitudes they have. Save your gas, money, and time. This is Hope Mills Zaxbys. read more

If I could rate a 0, I'd rate this a 00. Placed an online order. Showed up for pick up and they didn't even start my order. Stood there for 20 minutes until I got my food. Came home, SOGGY CHIPS! Cold Fries! 3rd bad experience at this location! Avoiding it and going up the road to a different one read more

I went Sunday night and ordered two Big Zax Snak meals and a fried house zalad. They were cloing at 10 pm and I think I was there by 9:20 something. I waited near the front after paying and I totally expected to due to the COVID-19 restaurant restrictions. I expected a wait. I got my food and drove off without checking the trays. I only checked for my salad dressing. I got home and gave these 2 17 year old boys their meals and we were absolutely pissed. There was no Texas Toast and a tiny amount of fries. I called the next morning and asked to speak to a manager so they could be informed about this and not do it to others. The manager listens and then tells me that all fries are measured out to be 5 oz. I have been eating and getting this meal for my son for awhile and that was NOT 5 oz. I do not like basically being called a liar to some degree. I would not waste my time to call but $22 for two of my meals to be shorted and my salad to have chunks of lettece that were too huge to the point I just tossed them...is unacceptable. This Zaxby's is the slowest one I have ever been to but I accepted that but this customer service is what I will NOT accpet. I didn't want my fries and toast I wanted to inform them because someone on their staff shorted me my food and I work hard for my money. Listen! Do better! At least the cashiers are nice and friendly! read more

How dare anyone give Zaxby's less than five stars. Zaxby's is bomb.com. There is no better fast food place in the South than Zaxby's. Get the chicken tender sandwich, or the grilled chicken buffalo style blue salad. read more

I have been to this restaurant many many times! Nine out of 10 times my order is wrong. There is nothing more frustrating than ordering takeout and getting home or work to find that your order is incomplete or not what you ordered at all. To find you have no salad dressing with your salad Or no wing sauce for your wings. I have complained before and they have replaced that item. But it's so inconvenient and it happens very often. Once again today, I get home and have no sauce for my wings and I ordered fried chicken not grilled chicken on my salad, it's just incredibly frustrating. And my daughters drink was wrong. If you eat inside of the restaurant, at least you can go in and have it corrected. But I would not recommend going through the drive-through. read more

Cashier who made my sub was very rude. Then i got chip and a drink they didnt have cup tops. I was told after so i asked for a refund for my drink. She told me the dont do refunds.I had to get a smaller cup ask was the a difference in the price she said no an refused to give me my change. I called 3 other subway to check each person said yes it is a difference she should have gave me my change to contact her Manager. I will not come back here again. And i will be contacting her manger very nasty attitude. read more

I ordered a 5 piece traditional wings meal. These were the smallest, hardest, over fried wings I've ever had. For the price, I'd expect to some nice juicy wings! These were the worst I've ever had! Save your money, if you want wings. Go to Rudino's down the street. THOSE are what wings should be. I wasn't expecting stellar wings, I was just wanting wings I could chew and swallow. Was I asking for too much? read more

Service at this location was slow and they weren't that friendly. I of course said thank you but got the cold shoulder. I ordered a shake and some cheddar bites, gross and gross. The shake seemed like it was in a freezer as it was premade earlier. The cheddar bites were overly fried and greasy. While in line paying, I over head them tell the customer behind me in the drive thru that they were out of shakes. Not sure if they were telling the truth considering I just got one or they didn't want to make it. I'll skip this location while in Hope Mills. read more

I got the grilled chicken sandwich, which was greasy and the tomato was two pieces of chucks of tomato, not slices. My son got the slaw and it tasted like cabbage and carrots, no dressing. For the price, it should have been a lot better! read more

If Chick-fil- A had a cousin it would be Zaxby's. Zaxby's has real chicken breast meat, not ground pieces molded together. The chicken fingers are very popular. Their salads are great! Where can you get a fast food salad with romaine lettuce, shredded cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, grilled chicken, and fried onions!! The onion rings are very good also. The inside of this location is nice and I during my lunch I saw a girl at different times walking around sweeping and cleaning up. Customer service was excellent, the girl at the register was very friendly. Try The Nibbler if you are in need of a snack- its a yummy roll with chicken and Zaxby sauce (yummy) for less then $1.50! read more
