What a joke. Horrible unedible food. The chicken on their wilted salad tasted like it was cooked last month. The Texas toast was soggy AND tough. The cheese bites were cold fried balls of rubbery crap. You could not dine in so we waited in the drive thru. The employees were rude and obnoxious. I am used to Zaxby's taking longer than most chains but the Griffin location takes wait time to a whole new level. Whether it's inside or out, it takes an exorbitant amount of time to either order or get your food. It truly is ridiculous and disappointing. read more

The Manger at this location is very rude! He appeared unkept. He yelled at my coworker saying we couldn't place 5 orders which was only 3 transactions. He yelled out of the drive thru window after we paid and received our meals. He could've communicated that to his employee and or addressed the concern more effectively than how he did. read more

I love Zaxbys! But NOT this one. The drive thru ALWAYS has such a long wait. Even when you're the only one in line they are very slow to get your food out. We've tried several times and it's never worth the wait, plus they've gotten our order wrong before and then we have to wait even longer. The service is just not good. Like I said, I love the food at Zaxby's and I'll go to other locations, but the service at this location is not worth it. We always drive across the way to the Truett's Grill instead. read more

I usually like Zaxby's but this location is consistently disappointing. The wait in drive-thru line is always inexplicably 30+ minutes, and the staff never has a sense of urgency or efficiency. Today, after waiting 45 minutes for my order (just for myself, just a single meal), I noticed a "smokey" odor when I opened my box. After tasting a fry, sure enough: everything tasted and smelled like cigarettes! Maybe a cook wasn't wearing gloves or a butt was dropped in the fryer. One star because you can't get zero. Last order through the drive through was not fixed correctly. Against my better judgment, we tried it again. This time, a car cut in front of us just after I placed our order, and proceeded to place his order at the window. Went to Zaxby's this afternoon and mobile ordered . Parked in the #1 pickup spot and called to let them know that I was there to pickup our order . 10 mins go by and no one brings our order out . So I walk in a propped open door to go to the counter to pick up my order and our order hasn't even been printed yet . The employees were playing around and more concerned with how I got inside . The manager walks in and ask what door I can through and I said that one that was propped over ( the door that she propped open herself to go to her car ). She asked how I ordered and I said through the mobile app , at this point 15 mins ago and she is still more concerned with how I got in as opposed to her employees playing around and not doing their jobs . I finally get my order , walk out to the car and it's WRONG , not just one meal wrong but both . All I can say is Wow !! read more

This is the only Zaxbys in Griffin. I came here one evening and the walls and seats had dust all over them and were sticky. The ladies bathroom toilets don't flush properly. A older gentleman took my order he seemed to be a manager he was in a grey shirt and was rude and snarky. For my food the chicken was hot but my fries and bread tasted old. While the service was fast and efficient, my husband was quite upset that the food was extremely overcooked to the point that there was no substance in the chicken tenders and it was so tough it hurt his mouth. 2 1/2 stars would be more appropriate. I have been here twice now and both times it was slow service compared to other Zaxby's. I could not imagine how slow it would be if it got really busy here. The food has been ok. I did have to replace old fries with fresh ones which they happily did for me.
