Not one good thing to say. Service is super slow. Food is lukewarm even if you asked for it fresh and offered to wait. The customer service at this location is really lacking. It's always been mediocre but most recently it's just horrible. Not sure who's managing this place but they're doing a terrible job and the employees they're even worse nasty attitude standing around talking don't take orders or give the food out in a timely manner. I waited 10 minutes for some fresh food when they brought it out 12 minutes later, it was lukewarm. I asked to have it remade and the kid never returned. The store manager needs better training or needs to do better at helping the staff. I've seen her on multiple occasions just sitting in the lobby not helping the employees while they were busy. I'm not sure if that's just how Grayson Zaxby's operates, but it's very unprofessional. Then the food was cold an not made right. I placed an online pickup order under the name Emily. Upon arriving, the staff confirmed my identity per their policy and gave me what I thought was my order. When I got home, I realized they had given me the wrong order. I returned to the restaurant to notify them, explicitly stating that I had opened and touched the incorrect order. Despite this, the employee proceeded to give that same opened order to the rightful customer. I was shocked by the complete disregard for food safety and professionalism. When I informed the customer, the staff's response was dismissive, with a manager eventually rolling her eyes and reluctantly offering to make a new order. First while getting my order taken, the man wearing the headset for drive through orders was very rude to another customer who asked "excuse me, hi, can i get a small container for some of my leftovers?" He responded with, " like what container?" so maybe i misheard when she said small container and gestured to one of their square boxes. Oh.my.goodness. Worst.Zaxby's.ever. I still don't go to this Zaxby's BUT I made the mistake of stopping there when I was on my way home from the hospital and I didn't want to have to drive further to go to the good Zaxby's on 124. As usual it took too long to get my food as there was only one other person waiting for their order. (At least they are consistent). While I was waiting a man walked in and asked for the manager. He was told she was busy and they could take a message. He wasn't going to leave until he spoke to her. She finally came out and he was explaining to her a problem in the drive thru. I didn't hear the entire conversation but when he left the "manager" went behind the counter and was speaking to the employees about the situation within ear-shot of the restaurant guests. They give new meaning to the term "fast food" - and it's not a good definition. The drive thru line was wrapped around the building, so i went inside. They took my order right away, but it took 25 minutes to get my food. I saw a lot of people standing around talking and laughing, but very little working. There were 2 or 3 who seemed to be working hard, but the amount of food coming out of the kitchen was minimal. Ordered Cobb Zalad w/ HHM on fingers. Lady did not repeat my order, even though I repeated it three times. Took extra long to work the computer. Once I was given the receipt, it said sweet & spicy and HHM. 4 minutes later, I was handed the wrong order. I immediately told the older heavy seat lady at the window I ordered Hot Honey mustard. She the stated, "That will cost extra", "you didn't order that, and I keyed your order in." I repeated to the lady, I did ordered and repeated hot honey mustard at order. She then had a nasty look on her face, spent around in a circle, in the direction (as if she was putting a spell on me), returned with a nasty look on her face, closed the drive thru window and began telling the staff that I ordered the wrong thing and wanted something else with a nasty look on her face. Have had nothing but problems here in my last 4 visits over the last 8 months or so. Three times in a row they have gotten the order wrong (and it's been an online order, so very easy to just-follow-along-on-the-screen). One of those visits, I even discovered it was the manager who had prepared the order incorrectly. This most recent visit, even though I ordered online, and my food was sitting on the counter when I arrived, the girl at the register told me I'd have to wait through the line while she took all the other orders before she would hand me my food. The whole point of ordering online is so that you don't have to wait in the line to order when you get there, but they'd rather just have your food sit there and get cold rather than take the 5 seconds to turn around and hand it to you. read more
