Very disappointed with my experience at Zaxby's. I placed an online order and didn't realize until I got home that I was given the completely wrong order. This is now the second time I've used the app and had issues with my order being incorrect, which defeats the whole purpose of ordering ahead for convenience. The restaurant appeared to be fully staffed, so it seemed more like a lack of organization and attention to detail than being overwhelmed. It's frustrating to spend money and time expecting your order to be right, only to end up disappointed again. I really hope management improves communication and order accuracy because this has made me not want to use the online ordering system anymore. read more

Waited 31 minutes for an order of chicken tenders and a salad (inside restaurant). Asked why so long and was told they had to wait for the chicken to cook...31 minutes to deep fry tenders? Other customers waited long times also, but observed orders were constantly being delivered to drive thru customer....guess the inside customers were not very important. read more

A typical representation of the franchise. I ordered the non-spicy Signature sandwich and was pleased to see, add, and try bacon and cheese. The combo came with a drink and crinkle fries, which were nicely seasoned and reasonably crisp. I also had a side of two chicken fingers, which were served piping hot. I ordered a Zensation Zalad and my mom got a Cobb salad. When we got home and looked at our food, she was missing the egg, there were just four pieces of cucumber, and they didn't give me fried chicken. We went back and politely confronted the manager about it and he threw away the salads to remake them. We got the new salads and they still goofed up. This time my mom was missing the fried onion topping and I was missing the wanton strips. This was the first time this has happened to us and it's ridiculous. The food is great and I could eat it everyday BUT please train your staff better! read more

Don't Come Here. - Order $30 worth of food in the drive-through. - Pay cashier $30, get drink and most of food. Must wait 5 minutes for cheddar bites. - Told to pull up to the white line. - Sit at the white line for 15 minutes plus. - Food gets cold. - Never receive cheddar bites. - Service forgets about you. - Go inside to tell service about the issue. - Manager gives you push-back for wanting a new meal that isn't cold. - Manager must call another manager, on the phone, to approve giving you a new meal. - Service finally gets you your food and just throws it down in front of you, without a word. No apologies from anyone. The service here is garbage and this is the third or fourth time something similar like this has happened. Don't come here. read more

Usually have never had any issues with this location, the only reason for the 1 star as of right now is due to the communication towards the guests. My boyfriend and I were respectfully eating our meals and nowhere at the store says the dining room closes at 10pm. This is on a Saturday night btw, the manager comes up to us as my plate is empty and my boyfriend is almost done and says "Just letting you guys know that the dining room has been closed for the past 15 min and if y'all could hurry up and eat your food and leave." As we walked out we check the door for the times, it says Dine in Hours for Friday-Saturday (10:30am -11:00pm). I currently still work in fast food and would never speak to a customer like this. read more

After a great experience in the Zaxbys in Elijay we decided to try this one. Put an online order in. When I arrived it didn't show in their system. The called for the manager to assist (nice young man) He said needed to check then system to see if went to another location. After waiting several minutes with no resolution they finally said the order went to another location. Fine let me placed an order here then. Placed my order 2 Cobb salads and a 10 piece chicken fingers (my original order). The assistant manager (nice young lady) provided me with 2 drink cups. Nice gesture. I finally got our food (Oscar was nice as well) and headed home. Got home and was disappointed again as the salads were wilted to include the tomatoes. When we went to access the 10 piece chicken fingers order we opened up a 6 piece meal. More frustration. To add injury to insult, the fingers were so salty I gave some of them to our dogs. Shoutout to Mandy, who greeted us and who took our order, helping ensure that my Reward rang in correctly and reminding me what came on the grilled chicken sandwich, which allowed me to make the change that I always forget to do with a mayo/Zax sauce switch. Zaxby's in general is usually just a pick up/drive through place with forgettable workers, but I saw Mandy working hard and wanted to let you know. She seemed genuinely caring and nice, and she was always moving; checking the tea, wiping tables, checking in with diners. She seemed to be training too, showing another employee what to do at the drink station. So many places are offering hiring bonuses. Time for this local Zaxby's to reward a stellar rep for the brand! read more

Two stars is basically for generally decent tasting food. Everything else about this franchise particularly in the Dalton area is well below par. My latest example is pictured. When you order 6 wings and are paying about $10 a plate and someone actually thinks it is okay for one of those wings to be the size of a small child's pinky finger you wonder if there actually is any training that goes on in these stores. When you take it back and ask for a full size wing and the employee doesn't know what to do and has to ask a manager who looks at it for a minute and decides to replace it 3 minute later with 1 single wing in a full sized box you realize that the problem is higher up. Add insult to injury by charging people for extra sauces. Neither wings nor chicken fingers are difficult to do right. Decent customer service isn't either and any of the other half a dozen options in the area for wings and fingers should be considered as alternatives until someone actually learns how to run a business at these locations. read more

Went through the drive-thru. I sat at the speaker for about 3 minutes until they acknowledged me. I was wondering if maybe I missed the real speaker or if you ordered at the window. They got the order correct. They were not overly friendly, not much conversation at all. Food was good, fries were a little overcooked or maybe the oil needed changing. After traveling all day, I just wanted an easy salad and sandwich. I normally don't go to dst food chains but this is literally across the street from my hotel. I ordered two items.... A Cobb salad without cheese, onions, and toast and a grilled chicken club sandwich without a bun. No crazy alterations or requests. When I got to my room, finally ready to sit down and eat, I found I had paid $19 for a salad with nothing but chicken and cucumbers and a sandwich that was just grilled chicken and lettuce. Not a club, not a Cobb. I could've picked this up in the deli department at Walmart for half the price. This just proves to me why I try to avoid chain eateries like the plague. read more

Zaxbys is probably my favorite fast food restaurant, The chicken is great and its the only place I've ever come across with Lime Fanta.

This is a great restaurant with decent prices! The staff is friendly and the interior is very nice. I didn't use the restrooms but by the look of the rest of the restaurant I'm assuming they are clean. I got the fried chicken salad which was more than enough for one person! My boyfriend got a chicken strip meal and said it was great and the zax sauce is yummy. I would go back again! read more

Then I had to wait a long time, they completely slipped/missed my order.
