Tenders were so bland and tasteless my son said he would just eat the fries, which he couldn't eat as well, took a bite of both, the fries tasted like old grease and the chicken tasted like fish. when she asked me how it was, I politely told her it was not good and told her so she could tell the kitchen staff so they are aware of it. never asked to take anything off the check, nor did she offer. while Getting in the car the manager came out and asked was there a problem with my food? So, I again told her the same thing.... Immediately she became defensive and proceeded to tell me how she changes the oil and the batter is separate from the fish and I was wrong...and I was the first one to complain about their food. Well, maybe I was the first one to speak up? Here is the kicker, the last couple bowls are awfully watery, you can tell they pour some water in there, or add less stuff to the broth, or something as the broth is even mostly clear and you can taste the difference. That may only be the one in Covington GA that does it, but they have done it several times with different servers, so I am convinced its a policy or directed by the manager. Another thing, from what was mentioned to me by a server who asked me to pay for the meal early and she would still serve me, the servers get dinged if the person is at the table more than 29 minutes, so they have a big incentive to brow beat and avoid your eyes for refills hoping you will leave. Still the service is super good, I haven't had a less than stella experience from the people that work there.
