We picked up our rental near by so we decided to try Zaxbys for the first time. I think all of my order was too salty for me, but I can see the appeal. I got 3 tenders with fries and a drink for I think about $15. The tenders were small and fried hard enough that they actually cut the top of my mouth. The chicken was still pretty juicy though so if that's your thing, now you know. The fries were SO salty. I'm a fry fanatic, a salt fry lover and I could even eat these. I spent a lot of time picking through to find fries that were naked but that's fine since we were on a bit of a drive anyway. The peach sweet tea and fried cheesecake bites were fine. I don't see myself craving this food but I could see myself trying it out again because of convenience. read more

Salad no fork. Fries no sauce, Tenders no sauce! The short wait time was honestly the only highlight of this experience. Due to the long line inside, we used the drive-thru, and we waited less than three minutes to place our order. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. The customer service was extremely disappointing. The employee taking our order could not provide a pleasant greeting and was unable to answer basic questions. There also appeared to be little to no communication between the staff inside and the drive-thru team. Several items we ordered and paid for were unavailable, yet no one made an effort to properly communicate this or offer reasonable substitutions. When we reached the pickup window/door, the interaction was just as unpleasant. We were still charged for items we did not receive, and when we asked about alternatives, the employee did not seem interested in helping. We even had difficulty getting something as simple as sauce for our tenders and fries. I spent over $80, so I expect to receive what I paid for or if something is unavailable, I expect to be informed and given the opportunity to choose a substitute. To make matters worse, one of the containers was not properly closed, causing food to spill inside the bag. Overall, this experience made it clear that the staff needs additional training in customer service, communication, order accuracy, and professionalism. It is frustrating to spend that much money at an establishment and feel like the employees have an attitude toward you for simply asking questions or requesting what you paid for. Zaxby's, you have to do better. Good food cannot make up for poor customer service and a lack of communication. This location has lot of potential considering the proximity to the airport. Travelers love to visit unique chains while passing through town. This was my second visit to this location. The first time was via the drive through and I remembered the wait being long. Payment was taken quickly and I was advised to go park. This time I went inside. Tons of people waiting. Lots of employees but multiple on break. Two registers but only one being used. The wait was long but the food was great. This location also needs to clean tables. I asked an employee for a rag to clean the table and I was given a dry paper towel. I asked if she could dampen. It and she did. She never offered to clean the table or have someone clean the table. We don't have Zaxby's on the West Coast, so I decided to check it out while I was in Atlanta. Went through the drive through. Ordered a 5 piece #2 combo and went large. It was like $13.00 or so. Here is how it was.......... Chicken Strips- Man, these were the SMALLEST chicken strips I have EVER seen. Seriously. They were legit "chicken fingers" but they were a babys finger. I dont know how your french fries can be bigger than your chicken strips, seriously! Flavor was tasty! They were really good. But they were so skimp! Fries- Good crinkle cuts. Bread- Toasted cheese bread type deal. Just ok. Coke- Atlanta's finest. Nice and sweet, and their cups are very sturdy and strong. I really wanted to write a good review for this location, but my experience was horrible. Customer service-indescribably disgusting to the point that get have to have armed security. I totally understand customers frustration. I drove home after a long night to find that there was bacon in every single meal I ordered. I was very specific that I didn't want bacon. Then, drove back, ordered again, and there was bacon AGAIN! Not to mention wasting 2 hours of my evening. This location should either be shut down or completely redone. DON'T use this restaurant!! First the ladies restroom was filthy. Old dried blood was on the commode. Toilet paper all over the floor. It looked like the ladies restroom had not been cleaned in days. So during my trip south, I had Zaxbys twice because I love it so much. This time I was south Atlanta. I did the drive through which appeared to be busy but moving. Ordered the fried chicken salad and a big zac snack meal with a sweet tea. The ordering process was very simple. He understood exactly what I meant as I modified my ordered. The young woman at the window was friendly and got me extra seasoning for my fries. I was not disappointed at all. Everything was correct. The salad was exactly as I requested evening down to the lettuce I wanted. It was really tasty and fresh. Enjoyed the tea, just a little too much ice. Overall my meal was great. I had to carry it with me to the airport so it made it through a lot of transition. I would return to this location. The team was friendly, got my ordered right. The food was good and flavorful. I guess when you don't eat at a place for a while, you can enjoy it again. This Zaxby's had gotten to the point were they were giving out soggy salads, cold fries, and since they got rid of the lemon pepper wings, I really had no reason to visit. I went back today since I was in the neighborhood. The cashier was a lil ole lady that im sure is working during her retirement, but she took our orders quickly and efficiently. She repeated the orders and overall had a very good dispositon. I will say the "boys" in the kitchen were all laughing as if someone else had told a good joke, because they were all laughs and high fiving one another. The drivethru had 15 cars wrapping around the building at three in the afternoon. My salad (The Blue) has gone up in price by 49 cents since the last time I had one, but it was fresh, and their wasnt a puddle of water in the bottom of the bowl, it was very good. Customer service is just as great as Chic-fa-la. I've been coming here for years and have yet to have a bad experience. My salads are always fresh and delicious. Even when it's late closing time, the salads are still fresh. Sometimes the wait can be a bit longer than normal, but since my food is fresh I won't complain. read more

The food is always tasty, orders are accurate (95%), and the drive through is surprisingly fast even when they are busy. I usually hate this Zaxby's location because it's always backed up and often times there were so many mistakes with the orders that it would annoy me to come to this location. Recently, as in the last two months or so I've noticed a few new faces who seem to be management or if not they should be. Sean, Pebbles, and another two young ladies who have locs have made my experience incredible. Excellent service every time I encounter them! I have waited a year to post this but clearly the owner does not care about the reputation of their franchise because it is the only Zaxbys in the area. The youth they hire have no manners, yell at customers, and the service whether it be the drive thru or inside is horrible and slow. I have had my card and receipts basically thrown at me on multiple occasions. Wrong orders are met with an attitude. My suggestion is to take more pride in your reputation. Just because it is fast food does not mean you have to mistreat people. Trust me. There's nothing fast about this place. Nothing at all! This location offers curbside service. I place my order on the app, and head to the restaurant. I arrive at 8:35p, and my food is slated to be ready at 8:37p. I pull in, there are at least 15 cars in the drive thru, and they're blocking the spots for the curbside pickup. Drive to the other side to pack, and none of those spots are available. I called the location to let them know if arrived 8 times in a row! EIGHT! No one ever answered. I was able to flag down the young lady that seemed to be handling the curbside orders. Very pleasantly, she assured me she'd grab my food. I finally got my food at 9:07p. 30 whole minutes after it was slated to be ready. And of course, my food is cold.
