this is the best zaxbys of my life omg I had to stop in the middle of eating to write this review like it's just so good like the chicken is cooked perfection lemon peppers, and pepper and like the fries are perfectly seasoning and don't even like fries but these are the best Zaxby fries I've ever had in my life like they're so like this is just so good like I just can't wait to finish his meal so I'm literally writing this to voice typing because it's so good like and the woman was so nice like she was really like she was really sweet so definitely pull up here like if you're on the way like we came here during our road trip but like I don't know if you live here I will. Been sitting in a booth for 15 minutes and still no food. No one else is in the dining room. Not sure what they are doing in the back.

Got in line at 8:40. Three cars in front of us. It was 25 minutes by the time we got to the kiosk to order. Waited 5 more minutes and the person comes on and tells us they are closed. There were two cars behind us that were also in line before 9 pm. Very rude considering we had been in line for 25 minutes. read more

This is the slowest Zaxbys I've ever found. We ordered at 7:01 and finally received our order of only 2 items (a Zalad and a boneless wings meal) at 7:29. It should not take almost 30 minutes to get a 2-item fast-food order. Meanwhile, the cashier, Enziyah, seemed completely oblivious to the fact that this was a problem (maybe it's the norm here?), and two other female workers were standing around chatting with one another. When they finally gave me my order (offering no apology for waiting so long), they failed to give me utensils, so I had to spend another several minutes waiting for Enziyah to give me those (Someone was pondering the menu at length and Enziyah apparently couldn't turn away from this compelling action for a single moment to grab the utensils which were right behind her to give to the person who had already waited half an hour). It was so obvious to everyone except the workers that this was a problem. A customer passing me on his way out said, "I thought I was going to have to go in the back and get your food myself." I've never seen such oblivious servers and cashiers; an apology or simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way in a situation like this. read more

I have received great customer service every visit. I ordered on the mobile app and my order was correct and ready as soon as I arrived inside to pick it up. When you download the mobile app you are rewarded with a free Big Zak Snack which includes 4 tenders, a side, a piece of texas toast, and a medium drink. I highly suggest downloading the app and picking your order up inside. The drive thru is usually very busy. read more

Traveling through and stopped for a bite to eat. Employees sitting outside the building informed us they closed the dining room early. Drive thru line took forever, prolly cause the employees are outside. Dining room was supposed to be open until 9pm but here we are at 8:30pm and it's locked. Horrible cashiers!!! Food was cold, probably because the girl at front counter named Josey stood around gossiping with other cashiers standing around while my food was sitting on a tray to be given out after already waiting 15 minutes! Sodas are always flat or out, the drink area is disgusting there is always tea spilled and trash everywhere. This Zaxbys has horrible management, while I was sitting in the drive thru for what seemed like almost a whole hour I was waiting on my meal and my two kid finger boxes and I told them if my food was cold I would like to speak to a manager, sure enough my food was cold so I pulled around and I tried to get in through the lobby but the doors were locked! The boy who answered the door told me they closed their lobby early and could not let me in. I told them I wanted to speak to a manager about my food being cold and the long wait and it seemed she didn't care in the world. read more

Updating my review from a 4 to a 5 based on my recent visit on 12/27/22. The place was jam-packed. We were traveling to Florida that day, and it appeared that many others were also. The food was higher quality than the average Zaxby's. Customer service was great, and they somehow held it together while it was extremely busy. Nice job! read more

This place has a sign that says they are in a chicken war and plan on winning (something like this and it is inferred it is against chick-fil-a). Let me help with this one, they have completely lost that war based on our experience here and the food we received. First, as others had said, there was a person taking orders on foot far away from the menu window and we had never been to zaxby's prior to this visit. So of course, we wanted to see the menu first and the person got visibly agitated by this. Our order was simple, a signature sandwich and a 10 pcs fingerz with drinks, so how hard can it be. Well, sure enough this place failed completely with this. First, we requested BBQ sauce with our fingerz, and they actually brought this to the car next to us as we heard them say they didn't order BBQ sauce. Well you guessed it, when our order came after 30 minutes of waiting (for items that should be regularly ordered and made), our drinks were now empty and shazam there was no BBQ. Of course the person handing us our food just took off without waiting to see if our order was correct or if we had any questions (Like can we get a refill since we had to wait 30 minutes for our food). On to the food. The sandwich had no sauces or pickles (just a plain piece of breaded chicken in a bun) that was luke warm. The fingerz were also luke warm and like we mentioned, they gave us no sauce for dipping. Not only will we never visit this business again, but for sure we will never eat at Zaxby's. Well lucky me, I get to write the first review!! Welp, ate up in dis place just a couple days after they opened the door. You could tell everyone was fairly green as to be expected, but it didn't change the fact that the food was awesome! Pretty pumped about ol Zaxby's coming to town, great reputation for above average fast foo and lil ol yelping conner was not disappointed. Typical Xaxby's. Service was so slow as it took over 20 mins to get our food eating in. No ketchup available, ice machine broken, soap dispensers in bathroom broken. But, my chicken sandwich was tasty, fries hot. When traveling, too long of a stop. Store needs a good cleaning read more

Like most of the other reviews, this Zaxbys is horrible. We got our food fairly quick but the three chicken tenders were left out of the Big Zax Snack meal we ordered. The dining room is closed so we pull back through the drive thru. We explain to them the chicken was left out and was told to pull around to the window. We get to the window and show them our receipt and the box so they could see. Immediately, they grabbed the box and told us they put the chicken in there essentially insinuating we were lying. We explained we just came through the drive thru and there was no way we would've eaten it that quickly. One of the ladies working got mad at us and said "I made that. I know I put the chicken in there." She said that twice. Another lady came around and gave us the chicken in a bag and they did not say anything else so we drove off. I don't where the hell this little town is but I will never come back. read more

Customer service is terrible! Night Manager was rude and refused to admit that they were wrong because they were too "busy" to do an order the correct way. She made excuses but never apologized for the order being wrong. Spent $42 on one order and for nearly $50 I expect things to be the way they were ordered (no special requests just as menu states). Ordered a chicken Caesar zalad which is supposed to come with lettuce, chicken, Parmesan, bacon and croutons. Received a zalad with broken up pieces of soft Texas toast in it, which of course became soggy nastiness the second dressing was added. The closest location to us is a 25 minute drive away. So by the time I arrived home with the order I was not going to go back for them to correct it. That is okay because they never offered. They defended the choice saying: "we were too busy to bake the bread to make croutons-it is all the same."I tried to explain that croutons are "hard" and not the same. She continued to say they were "too busy" to do the order correctly. If your company is "too busy" to do orders correctly then you need to hire more staff or close your doors. Zaxby's corporate should be ashamed of a manager that makes this type of excuse rather than apologize for an incorrect order. I tried explaining that it would have been best to communicate that they ran out of the baked croutons and could either substitute or not include them and her response was that "I would have complained if they were left out completely." She did not even listen- communicating was the issue. If I had gone to McDonald's and ordered fries and they were cold and the excuse was that they were "too busy" to make more it would be no different than this. The way this woman refused to apologize and instead made excuses is what really frustrated me. Customer service means the customer is "always" right and in this case- I was. If you advertise croutons and instead break up soft mushy bread then you are not giving what you advertised. Therefore you are wrong. Apologize and try to make it right. That is your job! The last TWO times we have been to this location, we have ordered, waited 30 minutes for our food, spoke to the manager more than once, and never received our food. Both times, we ended up having to ask for a refund and left, having our time wasted. I thought the least the manager could have done was to comp one of our meals or give us a discount for all the trouble, but no, nothing, just wasted time. This location is awful. They do not care. The cooks argue with the managers and talk back to them, it's chaotic trying to pick up an order or place an order because everyone crowds around the counter, and no one really knows what's going on. I have written in to management about this location, yet nothing is ever done. Not even a response from them. They just don't care. We are never going back to this sorry location again. read more

This Zaxby's is ridiculous. We waited in line for AT LEAST 30 minutes for 2 salads with grilled chicken. Once we finally got close to the window, we noticed that the car in front of us was told to pull up. They have already been waiting for 30 minutes. Why do they possibly still need to wait? Once we got to the window, we asked if our 2 salads were ready before we gave them our money. They said it would be a 6 minute wait for the grilled chicken. We decided to leave without waiting. I'm sure the wait would have been for longer than 6 minutes. This restaurant obviously had poor management. They knew our order was coming up. Why was the grilled chicken not being prepared in time enough? Also, they did not tell us that they were sorry for our wait. That should have been the first thing out of their mouth. Lastly, Zaxby's in general needs to do better with their wait times. They have always been slow, and I continue to get soggy/greasy fries at the 2 Valdosta, GA locations. Their food is not worth it. I will gladly continue to go to Chick-fil-A who obviously values their customers. read more
