This place could have been a 4 star review if it wasn't for the outrageous prices, specifically the water !
It's one thing to over charge for water, but it's another thing to not clarify when someone asks for a bit more at the end of the meal.
With that, they didn't even serve us bottled water, it was tap water in their own pitcher at $10 a pop.
Just to be clear, our glasses of wine were cheaper than the tap water !! This is crazy and double the cost we paid anywhere in Zermatt for water at a restaurant.
We let the waiter (James who was great) pick between a few options for us. We ended up with the lamb and the cod. To be honest, neither were worth 50 dollars a plate. The lamb was meant to slide off the bone but was not tender at all, to the point that they made me extra fillet since the lamb itself wasn't edible. Jenny, my amazing travel partner, actually liked the fish with truffles but again, not worth 50 bucks. read more
