We were stuck up at our friends cabin in Prescott and our car wouldn't start. John came up to jump it only to discover that with the tilt we were parked in it wasn't registering gas. He drove my husband to town to buy a gas can and gas in the crazy snow storm. He then stayed with us until we got out due to the amount of snow coming down. Used this company for snow removal. John said he could schedule it for that afternoon. He called me at 2:30pm. I missed the call but called him back less than 30 seconds after his call. He said I'd have to reschedule because he had already notified the next person on his list. Showed up the following day at 10am. Said he did a similar job on a flatter road for $350. Finished at 12:30pm. Charged me $1000! That's $400 per hour. Would give zero stars if that was an option. read more

For one thing Zaps Towing Company is the Worst Towing Company that I have ever seen before.It was late at Night and me and my 16yrs Daughter got a Flat Tire on are way back to Chino Valley .So we called Zaps Towing we were recommed that they were the best Company out there.We wait 2 hrs for the owner John of Zaps Towing to get there it took around 2 hours,And then on top of that when he got there he was very Disrespectful he keep Starting at my 16 yrs the whole inter time and then on top of that he tryed to over charge me for late call.I feel that they were very Disrespectful,they could of had little respect to aleast call and say they were running late,They say that they are all about Family and they treat the Client like Family .I dont recommed them to anyone ever. read more

Boy, did I get myself stuck! I took a wrong turn and it lead me to a semi-frozen muddy road. Try as I might, I couldn't get my 26' RV out of the mud. Luckily, I was towing another vehicle. Once I made it safely back to town, I started looking for someone to help get me out. After reading the many positive reviews on ZAP'S I decided to give John a call. He was very helpful and friendly. He even took time on his day off to help me out! That's above and beyond! We road up to the spot I got stuck and within a half an hour he had pulled me out! Then, he followed me back to town to make sure my rig wasn't damaged. His rates were fair and most likely his competition would have charged me so much more! The best thing about this was how very kind John was- he didn't shame me about my bonehead move. In his words, "I just love the smiles I get from people after they are pulled out!" I really hope that while you're in Prescott you won't need a tow, like I did. If you do, you should call John as he will take good care of you!! read more

Can't attest to their rowing but their snow removal is horrible! Two days they said that they'd be here and didn't show. I had to call each time to find out the status and always promised that they would be here. Never called to notify they couldn't make it, in fact never called back ever.
