Had a flat tire and they came out quickly to my house. That's the positive. They put on my spare, but tightened the lug nuts so tight (my neighbor observed it) that the tire place couldn't get one off, and it broke the stud from their efforts, Cost me a $150 for them to replace it. I filed a claim with Tri City but they never responded to me, I called the office several times about the claim and a few months have passed, and crickets. Very disappointed in their customer service and not even having the courtesy to respond. read more

We just had such a wonderful experience with Tri-City Towing I had to write about it. The tow truck arrived within 10 minutes of our call, which is unprecedented. Picked up the vehicle and took it to the shop and dropped it off, got there safe and sound. The main thing I wanted to mention was how very kind and efficient their dispatcher was, and when the driver Josh arrived to pick up the car, he was just a sweetheart. He was very efficient and skilled, and I couldn't be any happier to recommend this business. By the way, I noticed some other views were not so positive, but I think it's always a good idea to look at dates - they are over six years old, and from my experience, things have definitely changed! By the way, even though they are located in Prescott they picked up in Camp Verde and took the car to Cottonwood through our AAA membership. I am very impressed! Nice people! read more

Total disregard for the laws in the city of Prescott. Using N Mt Vernon for a cut through with their semi low boy when there are signs (posted 11/20) nothing over 10K GVW allowed. Called their number and told them about the signs and law and was told by the gal that answered the call that they have been doing it for 35 years and hung up on my wife. Highly recommend Tri City Towing! We required towing on our way home from Las Vegas after experiencing issues with our vehicle. The dispatcher we spoke to was friendly and helpful in taking the time to figure out where we were using landmarks nearby. The driver who came out was also friendly and very helpful in getting our truck to the dealer and us to a hotel. He took the time to google search a hotel near a car rental location considering we are out of towners. The towing rates for Tri City are reasonable as well. Updating this review. I was shocked that I actually got a call back from them. They went through their call log and verified that I did call back and cancelled and apologized for everything. Not what I was expecting but handled extremely well. Handled poorly in the moment but end result was good. Absolutely worse company ever. Do not call them. I scheduled a pickup and then Immediately five minutes later cancelled it because it was no longer needed. The next day at the scheduled pick up that was cancelled an extremely rude driver shows up to our door. To the point we had to shut the door on him. I called to complain about it and was told well the call was never cancelled and they would go through their call log to verify if I actually cancelled. The lady I talked to was also extremely rude. I don't care if someone didn't do their job and cancel the call. Don't send someone to my door with my two year old son here and act the way they did. If I could give negative stars I would. Absolutely terrible customer service and no ownership or acknowledgment that they screwed up. Should have been handled very differently. read more

My husband & I were driving on 89 A on Wednesday evening and my husband noticed a old woman that broke down so we turned around and asked if she was okay. She said her brakes went on her car and she left her cell phone at home. So I asked her if there was we can call for her and she said yes to call a Tow truck and I looked up Tri tow company. The woman answered the phone and I told we needed a tow truck and I told we were on 89A by the Potters House and she said to hold on because she had a driver that was just leaving the yard. Next time you know the driver was on his way. I was so glad we're able to help the Woman and get her on her way back home. It's was cold and she didn't have a jacket so we told just get in her car while waiting. And that will stick around until they get her car on the tow truck. Just glad we're able to help out.. I have to commend the employees of this company from the lady who first answered the phone, to the tow truck driver, Edison, to the salvage yard employee, Jason. Everyone was so helpful and kind. Jason went above and beyond when we had to unload our trailer that had flipped on I-17 and was towed to their lot. The door to the trailer was stuck and Jason went out of his way and used his truck lift to pry the door open so we could get our belongings out. He and his wife then helped us to unload box by box the school supplies we were donating to a non profit in Yavapai County. After a horrible day, it is uplifting to know there are so many kind and helpful people in this world! read more

Thieves work here!! Do not trust this business. Our truck was towed here on an impound and they specifically told me that since my name was not on the registration, I could not come get personal belongings out - which is a great security measure! Unfortunately not all their staff follow this same operation! When a power of attorney was finally granted, we were told by 3 separate people that work here, (2 people in-person!), that some belongings were removed from the truck and put in the office for "safe keeping". Now, a week later, as we are trying to get everything in order, those items are no longer there. And they are denying everything. So mad!! What an unethical way of running a business!! read more

My Jeep just lost power while I was leaving work. I called good Sam and they dispatched tri-city towing. They arrived in a very reasonable time. The company I was using had given me a very hard time and Tri City came and towed my car to their lot and the owner along with the staff were wonderful. Big shout out to @tri city towing!!! I was on my way to work when I saw a van smoking by exit 319. The driver was an elderly man clearly in need of help. I pulled over to help him . the man was trying to start a smoking engine repeatedly. After talking with him and drawing blanks on any one to help him I called a tow truck for him. He had no cell phone and he was wandering around the sides. I didn't feel right leaving him but I knew I would be fired if I was late. @tri city towing, the girl on the other end. (Shannon or Sharon?) Was completely understanding. To my ultimate shock they got their ASAP. I made it to work with a minute to spare and the handicapped man was safely in a tow truck. She coordinated with her driver to find my daughter's car in the crowded dorm parking lot...driver was there earlier than the promised time. She called me to confirm that my daughter's car was safely picked up and on it's way to the dealer for service, which was approx. 87 miles away! DO NOT use this company!!!! Completely unprofessional, inexperienced and incompetent. And they are liars!I had called another tow company to get my car towed out of the snow but they said it would be 3-4 hours. I booked them but said I would call if I got a better time. I called Tri-City and the girl PROMISED one to two hours. I pressed her on this time and she reassured me. Great. I canceled my other reservation and thought I would be on my way to LA by 1p. At I I called and asked where the truck was and she said it would be another 90 minutes. Called again another 90 min. She explained that with towing you never know how long it is going to take. Really? But your PROMISED. At 5 a huge flat bed truck arrived which would never fit down the alley. I explained in my first call that it was an alley. They said well you missed the guy at 1:30. He called you. Lie! My phone never rang. The girl with the flatbed tried to get it in the least snowy part of the alley but couldn't. She needed chains. She then went to the other end of the alley and put the chains on and tried to get down the alley but the truck got stuck. If she'd gone back up the other way she would have made it in. I called and asked what's next? They said well our vehicle comes first so you can wait or call another company. The guy who said he called said he knocked the door. We have a dog, a bell and RING with a CAMERA. He did NOT come to the door. They tried to pull my car out of the alley through the snowy end and at one point the car was sideways. They finally told me to call another company they needed to go home. They hire inexperienced people and some of them lie! read more

Sat night I was in my RV and they towed me from a bad location to a safer location but upon doing so had to take off with the drive shaft and broke my drive shaft and told me they don't care or not going to replace it and I was told if I don't move this they will tow it and to an impound by the police I am stranded with no money... After having a horrible 3 hour ordeal with a different towing company, my insurance called Tri City Towing to go retrieve my vehicle and bring it to my house 7 miles away.
