The resturant is decorated with paintings the owner paints himself. The couple reminded me of my grandparents. I do not speak French, but the owners made a heartfelt attempt to communicate with us and put up with our broken French. The wife put a lot of effort into ensuring we saw all of the site Lyon has to offer and gave us a lot of suggestions for things to do. My friend got andouillette sausage, and I got a salad. The truffle pasta we ordered was a bit better, but not by much. Finally, no bread was provided for the meal. What kind of Italian restaurant doesn't provide a basket of bread? Especially a country that prides itself on great bread making! For service, the server was friendly but we barely saw her for the rest of the meal, she gave us very little attention. Needless to say, we will not return. Yes it has beautiful decor, but that's about it.
