If you want to sit unattended at a restaurant for over an hour for ordering, and food, then this is the place. was very disappointed in a simple order of 3 rolls which were given to my table after waiting an hour. i don't recommend, it's like they're getting the sushi from all the way across the world. service is very slow, absolutely avoided in this restaurant. read more

Great atmosphere, great food, great service. Sashimi is fresh, rolls are done well! Sake is served in Champagne flutes which is original! Choice of cold and hot sake. Very close to the Hilton about three minutes away. Would recommend for a quick dinner or a nice group dinner. Good choice if you're looking for something other than Belgian food. read more

One of my favorite sushi restaurants. The rolls are creative and taste really good. Kind of reminds me of what we can find in the US. It's better to make a reservation as the restaurant is always crowded, even during the week! Staff is really kind. Price are a little bit higher than what we are used to for sushi in Belgium but it's worth it! We paid 80€ for 1 appetizers, 4 rolls (37 pieces), 1 dessert and 2 drinks. We ordered the Soft Shell Crab futomaki, Sexy Roll, Chef's roll with salmon and Spicy Lobster Roll. They were all really nice. The dessert (deep fried ice-cream) was nothing to die for. Avoid ordering the deep fried soft shell crab as it is not a whole crab and the batter used was way too thick. read more

I am writing this review from the perspective of an American visiting Antwerpen. I have been traveling to this lovely city twice yearly since 2008. I know what type of food the region has to offer and I'm usually disappointed. I hail from the San Francisco Bay Area where dining is an experience. To dine out in Antwerp is usually a challenge. Sorry folks--your food is usually pretty terrible. I take my friend out for dinner every trip as a gesture to thank her for her hospitality. This trip we went to Zaowang. It was the only restaurant in the vicinity of her flat which was open at 9:30 pm on a Monday night. We were seated immediately and ordered our food. We decided on the sushi boat which was basically a large assortment of generic rolls. Sometimes that's what you want--nothing fancy and predictable. The rolls were flavorful, fresh and tasted the same as I have at home. I didn't want a Flemish interpretation of sushi. I wanted sushi! The price is fair. If you are traveling from the US, be prepared to pay upwards of $50 for two people for what you'd normally pay $30 for in the US. Of course you aren't tipping either so keep that in mind. I will definitely return when I am back in April. It's nice to have a safe haven for dining where I KNOW I will enjoy myself. read more

Worst staff, worst courtesy , worst service ...!!! We ordered our food at 8:30 , they served us Almost around 10 and then in 10 mins we called waiter to order more , he replied kitchen is closed .. there's was no 1 who informed about the last order and we were in group of 13 with kids n all of them were not done .. We asked the waiter to call manager and got reply from him I am the manager and I will decide , there's nothing can be ordered more and all the waiters started misbehaving ... We will never go to this place again .. read more

After trying the south version of this restaurant a few weeks ago, today I have tested the one in the center. As sun was out, it was great to enjoy the terrace on the pedestrian street. We took the boat for 2 persons and the mix of Suso and sashimi was good - a nice set of regular ones and a few creations around salmon. We have enjoyed it and will be back there read more

Very bad experience, with the restaurant staff and the manager. Each one misbehaved more than the other, and to top it all their cold attitude and arrogant behaviour. Specifically felt towards us as expats. read more
