I put myself in a bad spot. My move had to be a very quick turnaround. It worked out so well and it couldn't have happened without George. Someone else already wrote "above and beyond," so to avoid being redundant, I'll sum up George's help getting me the exact apartment I wanted as "higher and further than any other real estate agent ever." I promised avoiding redundancy, not hyperbole--in this case, though, I'm not being hyperbolic, because George has done everything for me: got my lease turned around in 2 days, answered every phone call, answered every question when he could, and said he didn't know when he didn't. Even after I moved, I had more questions about the neighborhood and George responded quickly. He's just a stand up guy who happens to be a great real estate agent. George was the first real estate agent I've ever worked with that actually earned their fee. If my mother needed a new place, I'd send her to George. read more

George really exemplifies what we have always felt and believed a real estate agent should be. He was always professional, thoughtful, and considerate of our time and needs. Whenever we had a question, no matter how trivial it was, he always took the time to answer. We wanted to find an apartment RIGHT AWAY. He got us into the apartment we were wanting and then did a walk through with us before we signed the lease--FOR A RENTAL. This is something no real estate agent ever did. He followed up with us after we were in the apartment to make sure things were fine. We can honestly say he made looking for an apartment an enjoyable experience. Thank you George read more

My boyfriend and I met a lot of brokers in Rockaway and were disappointed with all of them until we met George. We could tell right away he was extremely smart and honest. Over the course of the next month we stopped dealing with all other brokers and are so happy we did, George was incredibly reliable, friendly and with us every step of the way, from making sure we were the first to see a unit to being there to negotiate terms when we signed the lease. The "above and beyond" phrase has been thrown around a lot already, but seriously, the guy even drove us back from the leasing office so we wouldn't have to take the train! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a place in Rockaway (and already have!). read more

I honestly do not know where to start so I'll just start with this, GEORGE IS AMAZING. Having moved from Los Angeles to New York, I was already feeling the stress of finding an apartment on my own until I came across a listing that George was working on. What I appreciate the most about working with him in finding the best place for me was that he really listened to what I wanted. He worked hard to find me the right place, and he was upfront and honest with me throughout the whole process. George is an excellent realtor who goes above and beyond AND goes out of his way to help you along. One of the many things that stood out to me was when he did me a huge favor of collecting a giant package that I ordered from Ikea which got delivered a day before I officially moved into the building. Without any hesitation he took the giant, dirty, wet box and held it in his Mercedes-Benz for safe-keeping AFTER putting the ripped box back together, just so that the next morning he could deliver it into my apartment. Like I said, George is amazing and he doesn't just leave you high and dry after signing the lease, he sees the process through to the end making sure that your new home is left in tip-top shape and ready to move in! He made this apartment hunting so easy and pleasant. I could not have asked for a more kind, honest, hilarious, and hardworking realtor to help me find my awesome apartment. I highly recommend George for anyone looking to find their home sweet home! HE'S THE BEST! read more

George was amazing to work with--a lifesaver! I was looking for a new place to live and needed to find something ASAP. I didn't want to look at a million places, and as luck would have it, I fell in love with the very first apartment George showed me. I told him as much, and he truly went to bat for me to help me secure the apartment of my dreams without any hassle at all. He was responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, and all in all easy to work with--available at all times and only a text message away! I would recommend George to anyone looking for a new place to live in a heartbeat. read more

George has gone above and beyond throughout the entire apartment hunt & moving process. He was factored in as one of the biggest "pros" when considering my living options, and he continues to deliver exceptional services that last beyond lease signing. Searching for my first ever apartment, I went into the process very weary of the typical "broker" persona, but George gave me a sense of comfort immediately, and he made the entire journey as easy and painless as possible! read more

George is an amazing broker. He was very helpful and really friendly. With his fun attitude he made moving such a breeze. The whole process of finding the perfect apartment and moving in was very quick and painless. He answered all our questions and even recommended good places to eat around the neighborhood we moved in.What we really liked about him is that he is a go-getter and gets things done very quickly. He even was able to help us move in to the apartment a couple of days before the actual move in date, which was awesome because we desperately needed to move out. I called George regarding an apartment pretty early one morning and left him a message. I was pleasantly surprised that he promptly returned my call. I needed to get out of my apartment due to a mold problem that was making my husband really sick! George was great! He immediately had two apartments for me to look at. Two days after I met with George he found exactly what I was looking for. I texted George a couple of times with all sorts of questions and he always responded immediately. I filled out the application for the apartment we wanted on Friday and I was signing the lease by Wednesday. He is definitely someone you can count on and he will find you what you need and get it done fast! Thank you George, we love our apartment and I will recommend your services to everyone I know! read more

I would definitely work with him again! read more

I can honestly say I've never had the pleasure of a broker going this above and beyond to accommodate my needs and desires. George showed me multiple apartments when he was only suppose to show me one, let me know as soon as a previously unavailable unit became available because he knew I had my eye on it, let us use his personal storage space to keep some of our stuff when he found out we had nowhere to put it (seriously....his personal storage space!!!), then, unprompted, he acted as a liaison between us and our property manager to help iron out all the fussy details (this was not his responsibility but he was happy to help) and even offered the services of his personal cleaner just to make sure we were comfortable. He's also just a fun guy who I had the pleasure of getting to know during the process. Lucky for me we now share the same neighborhood and it's always a pleasure seeing him out and about. I guarantee you if you go with George you're in good hands. read more

Listens. Delivers. Anticipates with generosity of spirit. George Zanetis not only took the 'edge off' the complexity of finding a new home, getting approved, and even moving -- his gracious style, trusted relationships in the community, integrity and savvy professionalism actually made the process a joy. I am a seasoned relocator, and George set a new bar for 'customer service' in my very picky book. During this winter, I met a number of lovely owners and brokers in my search for an apartment on the west end of Rockaway. (Except for one broker who knowingly stood me up for an appointment without notice), they all contributed to my positive impression of the neighborhood. Even among them, George actually stands out. He is highly motivated as most brokers are, but in his case, his motivation to help me find what was perfect for me came ahead of closing the deal at hand. He quickly put me into the perfect apartment that meets all my essential criteria, with a generosity of spirit that alone can redefine the image of 'real estate broker.' I recommend him to anyone considering a new home in Nassau County and/or Rockaway. read more
