I have been to Zamz on a handful of occasions for advice and two times for service and these guys never disappoint. If I was there for information they always took their time with me and I never felt like I was bothering them or they wanted me to either spend money or leave. The first experience I was looking for a dash cam for my wife's car. They gave me their input on the best choice (on Amazon) and told me they would install it if I brought it in. They could have easily sold me something for more money, but they had our best interest at heart. I followed their advice, bought it on Amazon and brought it in to be installed. It cost less than their original estimate. Who does that? Then I needed to replace the stereo in my 1996 Electra Glide as it had seen better days. Everyone else I talked to wanted to sell me a $3500 unit for a $7000 motorcycle. These guys recognized exactly what I needed and worked with me. Again they helped me find a part on Amazon that they couldn't get through their suppliers and upgraded my speakers for a better sound at 80 mph. These guys will always be my go-to people. They are honest, down to earth, reliable and fun to work with. I recommend you not waste your time shopping around when these guys are right around the corner. They gave me a tour of the shop and showed me some of the intricate work they do on show vehicles, boats, custom work and everyday vehicles. I stopped in at Zamz one Saturday because I wanted to upgrade the sound in my car. I had blown out a subwoofer from underneath my front passenger seat. At first, I my thoughts were to upgrade all of the speakers. Unlike myself, Lou was extremely knowledgeable with what my car came with and offered up a suggestion that's would be best. The quote was exactly what I had asked for, but I decided to stick to replacing both of the under-seat subs because I'm undecided on whether or not I am keeping this car. Recently replaced an old JBL touchscreen stock radio in my 2007 Toyota Sienna Limited with a Alpine iLX-107 with Apple Car Play. I brought in the new head-unit and asked if they would install it for me. Miguel helped me, and he did a great job of coming out to the car when I arrived. He asked me about the install and I explained that I wanted to retain the back-up camera and steering wheel controls and where I would like to have the new microphone placed in the vehicle He was very fair in his quote on price for the install. Came back and examined the vehicle, at the end of the day, to find the new Alpine unit cleanly and professionally installed. They gave a quick demonstration of the new settings and were very kind. Had a great, and FAST, experience here today! Called around and checked everyone's prices and time frame needed for installing a new digital receiver in my truck and these people were not only polite and informative on the phone, they also offered the fastest install estimate. Yay! I was in and out in about 40 minutes. Joe showed me how to operate the system and even synced my Bluetooth to my phone for me as I was exploring the options on the stereo. Shop was clean and the company was pleasant while I waited. The prices were a couple dollars cheaper than the (much slower) competitors, who all quoted me "about 2 hours"! Seriously? They take care of each customer separate and make sure their needs and wants are taken care of! First, Came in to get a quote on a full system, given a $2500 budget was consistantly given an estimate for crap equipment. Fine. Whatever I'll go to another shop for decent parts. Secondly, I had bought equipment for another vehicle that clearly had shipping damage and was told by the retired owner that I can return it without a restocking fee within 90 days. 3 weeks in I decided to return it only to find out they charge a 18% restocking fee. When I asked about the guarantee they flat out said what guarantee. Lieing about returns is quite disgusting even when they proudly talk about their product. I would not recommend doing business with this shop. read more

They put a defective interlock in my truck and made me wait 4 days without transportation to have it removed(30 minuets worth of work). The first day I took it in, the storefront and the shop were completely empty but they couldn't assist me at that time. This is a company that clearly only cares about getting paid, and could care less about customer satisfaction. read more

Had subwoofer installed in my 04 Chevy Silverado this Tuesday, today is Sunday and I was looking over everything and they poked a hole in one my subs foam surround and didn't tell me a damn thing. So pissed off. Would not recommend to anyone. What kind of customer service is that. Spent 250 to have my stuff installed and they damage my equipment. They tried to fix with super glue. Total bullshit. Called them and supposed to talk to a manager Monday. So we will see what happens read more

Came in to get some tints and decided to get new speakers. Mike was nice and helpful and did a good jonlb installing the new speakers. Chris however was a whole different story. He made me an appt and on the day of the appt he no showed and I haven't heard from him since. I'm extremely disappointed in my experience. This review is based on Chris's customer service and not the shop as a whole. So if you decide to get tints done here make sure you get everything in writing because Chris is extremely unprofessional. I guess this establishment also deserves the blame because they haven't reached out to try and resolve my problem and in socapacity they do have Chris work on their property. read more

I had them fix the wire for my camera & the visual sighting of the fixture was great, but I feel a responsible company should check and make sure the camera is operating correctly after the wires have been fixed. I picked up my vehicle with the wires fix, but the camera was not. They only gave guesses to the problem that were common sense, but that's why I brought my vehicle to them to fix it completely, not a half step. what's good about a flat tire being repaired, but can only support 100 lbs. long story short is they might be a good company to some, but in my experience it was pure laziness. read more
