This is a medium sized Indian restaurant located in a residential area. We went for lunch. We started with vegetable samosas which come two to an order. They were accompanied by a trio of condiments, creamy mint chutney (which I liked a lot), tamarind chutney (which my wife's favorite, and achar (which I like but is not for everyone, I like the salty and bitter flavor). We had three dishes for lunch (dishes are small and priced accordingly). We enjoyed the baingan Bertha which we ordered spicy. This is a difficult dish to make because the eggplant goes from perfect to burned in a flash. That was NOT the case here. We really enjoyed this dish. We also had a nice mixed vegetable korma which is not served spicy. It was served in a creamy, slightly sweet sauce. We could have enjoyed the dish a little less sweet but this is a quibble. Finally we had lamb biryani accompanied by mint Arita. Lamb and mint is a classic combo and this did not disappoint. Altogether a very fine effort. read more
