We came to this cafe after my continued insistence that my partner try Peruvian food finally came to fruition. It was close to our apartment and had a large and reasonably priced menu so off we went. As usual, we ordered too much. We ordered pisco sours, lomo Saltado, anticuchos, and the mariscos mix plate. Everything tasted great and the portions were incredibly large. My favorite is they had a very sweet cat inside but otherwise the place remained empty through our entire meal till we went to pay the check. This is the only reason I ding stars- they don't enter your meal choices on the register. Our waiter just added them up on a calculator. Well, when he said what I thought was 59 I said sure and handed my card over only to realize when I got home it was 79. Potentially he added something twice on the calculator; I don't know since the receipt just has one single added item on it which is the total they come up with. I take responsibility that I should have looked at the receipt there and checked but I just have to recommend if you come here and enjoy their delicious food- maybe you'll check your receipt before leaving. read more
