The views over the city of Turin are nice, but I'll remember this place for a typical response from the proprietress. My friend and I were not in the least bit hungry when visiting this spot, but we both needed just an hour or so of work and we thought, why not do so from this view. The restaurant was far from crowded and was at less than 25% capacity. So I decided to take one for the team and order some vegetable flan, and after, some coffee. When the owner came to take our order and my friend shook his head when asked what he would eat, she looked confused, then angrily asked/stated: "No mangia?!" I laughed when she was out of sight: "You've committed the only sin remaining in Italy: refusing to eat."
Just be aware if you make your way up to the view here: order something :-) read more
