We are traveling with our three grandchildren. After leaving Savannah to go toward Macon, we were traveling on I-16 where there are too many miles between gas stations and convenience stores. Our youngest traveler needed to use the restroom badly. Suddenly, Exit-71 was there with a Chevron gas station and convenience store. I followed my wife and three kids into the convenience store. We were greeted by a woman with one of the friendliest faces and beautiful smiles one could hope to meet during travels. Sandra, the employee behind the counter, smiled at our family and said, "Good morning". My first thought was that she saw our desperation, and like a flight attendant she pointed us in the right directions with "Women's room this way, Men's room this way". Then, as I waited in the store for our two boys who were in the restroom, I saw that she greeted everyone as they entered the convenience store. The convenience store seemed so clean and orderly. I checked to make sure that our boys left the restroom clean. The restroom was very clean. My wife said that the women's restroom was also very clean. I talked with Sandra for a few minutes. She told me that she treats the store as if it is her personal home, and we are her guests. If someone came to visit her at her home, the first thing that she would do is to make the guest feel welcome and tell them, "Restroom is that way and the fridge is that way". When I like someone's refreshing personality, I comment to my wife, "I would have coffee with that person". I would have coffee with Sandra. What a unique, fresh personality. I recommend 100%, a refreshing stop at the Chevron, Exit 71 on I-16 between Macon, and Savannah.

The stretch farther east, between Statesboro and Savannah, is better because it has a relatively new QuikTrip. This Love's has 12 standard pumps and doubles as a truck stop. There's a Chester's Chicken and Subway on site. The restaurants and convenience store are open 24/7. This is Love's Store #320 and it's located about halfway in between Atlanta and Savannah at I-16 Exit 49: SR 257 - Dublin, Dexter.

Saturday, 12/28, I visited twice (late morning and mid afternoon) while passing by the area on a long road trip. The restrooms were spacious and available. The entire site was an eyesore for trash, unfortunately. The trash cans at the pump were full, the trash cans at the entrance were jam packed with litter on the sidewalk, and the men's restroom was similar with full trash, paper towel debris on the floor and in the sinks. Coffee was well priced and decent! Hopefully, this was just a staffing issue and increased holiday travelers that was a rare depiction of the site's cleanliness.

Each time I've stopped, the dog park has been relatively clean from dog poop, which is nice. It's a spacious area, good for throwing the ball and getting a couple of run-arounds in before your trip continues. The park is fenced in with a double-closed gate to be able to unleash your dog safely. There are places for the humans to sit too, and there are usually doggie waste bags available (although, if you're traveling with your dog... you probably have some!). The store is clean, as are the restrooms. And the gas prices are on par - you're not getting gouged which is refreshing, considering the super easy off/on location. Overall, it's a great stop that we'll use again on this route.

There are a gazillion pumps and there's a fuel type for every need including (and current prices as of 04.08.2026). Diesel $5.19 Ethanol Free 93 Octane $4.59 Regular 87 Octane $3.59 Plus 89 Octane $3.89 Super 93 Octane $4.19 The biggest gripe I have with this place is that there's no provision to clean your windshield while fueling up. This and the fact that there's always a ton of people inside (like everyone just left the Magic Kingdom and has come here before going home. ‍ ), is why I rarely stop here. There are plenty of food / snack options as well as drinks. The bathrooms are huge and clean. If you've never been here, you should visit and draw your own conclusions.

They have the average convenience store items, as well as hot pizza. They sell lottery tickets and beer or wine products. The bathroom could use some repair, but it was clean and served their purpose.

The gas prices are about the same as other exits. Bathrooms could use some updating. You must purchase something to use them and you will need a key. Not an issue for me because I love getting a big sweet tea and some spicy boiled peanuts. If you have time you must walk around the small travel center in same parking lot. It's a old log cabin and picnic tables with a cute wishing well. There is a cute outhouse that's old too but not for use of course. The old post office building is there too. Just a nice little place to make you feel you've gone back in time.

This is a tiny little gas station out in the country. You can find it just off I-16 exit 32 (SR 112…read more- Allentown, Montrose) in the small town of Allentown. Note: At the time of writing this review, Yelp has an incorrect map marker for this gas station. I've submitted a fix and hopefully a Yelp moderator will correctly accept it by the time you read this. The station only has 4 pumps. When I visited, the pumps were a bit worn and the displays were hard to read. At this station, you actually pump first and then pay inside with cash or credit card. When I walked inside, a polite young lady behind the counter had a notebook with all of the pump prices owed handwritten neatly in succession. After I paid, she crossed my price off the list. Old school. The entrances to the restrooms are located outside, but you have to go inside the convenience store first and then back out through the back of the store because access to the restrooms directly from the outside has been blocked off by a chain-link fence. I used one of the two restrooms. It was very small, but clean enough. They had run out of paper towels inside the restroom so they let me use the roll sitting on the counter inside the store. As I was leaving, a burly old man dressed in camo entered the store and asked the lady how her mother was doing. There's an abandoned gas station across the street. It looks like a great setting for a (horror) movie.
