After a Coastal rep came out and gave me an estimate, I added on resurfacing of the top of my vanity as well. Everyone from the business was friendly and professional. Will, my technician, was respectful, answered all my many questions, and sought my input when there were choices. His many years of experience in this field were evident in the finished product. The quality of his work exceeded my expectations. It was completed today, so I can't comment on how it will wear over time, but Will asked me to call if I had any issues. I complimented Will on his good work ethic and asked what motivated him. He said that he worked for a really good boss, and didn't want to disappoint him. The owner and office staff were very nice , until I had a problem…read more The person who came to resurface my bathtub did not use any sort of air ventilation during the whole process until the very end they used some sort of contraption for like 20 minutes to ventilate the chemicals outside. My special-needs son was there and my cat was there. They never said anything about you us leaving the house for a while or anything like that. They never gave me any instructions on what to do before, during or after the process and they did not leave any sort of instructions on what to expect. I walked in the door at 8:30pm at night and got blasted with this extreme chemical smell which I had a huge reaction to. I called them the next day and they said oh it should be gone in 24 hours. No it was not gone. I had to open up my whole house go buy some air purifiers and fans and still a week later I had horrible chemical fumes. I had a quality air guy come in and test the air and do an air scrub on it and I also had to go rent an air scrubber machine at Home Depot to try and get the fumes out of my house, now it's two weeks after and I still have the fumes in my house that he says are not toxic in any way , I requested SDS sheets that are required by law and they have yet to get them to me and now they are not responding. If you are sensitive to chemicals in any way, do not get this process done without getting all the chemical information before they do it! Lesson learned with a lot of pain!

Our home's…read more30foot long E wall had a lot of visible block-mortar lines and 'shadows - like looking at a map on the wall of the block shapes and mortar lines and paths- but NOT ONE CRACK. This knowledgeable and kind pro (w a solid engineering background) explained this was not a stairstep cracking situation (again, NO CRACKS). But rather the well-worn dull flat paint film was revealing what was underneath. Differing expansion and contraction rates of the three 'actors in the play' {blocks, stucco and mortar} was causing what we saw... resulting in it all being so visible (the mortar paths and block shapes). But AGAIN.. NO cracks. The solution? A properly applied high quality elastomeric paint would protect this E wall and essentially serve to bind it all together, on top of it all. We had bought the house in 2020 and it had been freshly painted but w a rather thin contractor-grade latex.. which hid these otherwise visible patterns (nothing dishonest on part of the sellers.. they just painted the house is all). Wow! Nobody out for our hard-earned $$ here,, no siree! [Another company, Stable Foundations (Ft White FL), had also been out and was recommending 6 helical piers to amount of some $11 to $13 thousand dollars. One relevant factor here (in their defense) in this glaring difference of recommendations is, I believe, experience and knowledge. But there IS the solid fact of zero cracks; just visible mortar and block patterns due to the faded thin paint film in need of updating]. Well which one would YOU trust and put your confidence in for having your best interests in 1st place? Yes he offered to come touch up... but after he admitted to moving my refrigerator purely to sate his curiosity I just couldn't trust him. There's damage to the wood trim where they gouged it with the refrigerator they had no business moving. He and his helper didn't tape off the wood cabinets so there's paint all over the place. I had the same complaint in the bathrooms where they painted the granite countertops and shower trim and tiles. Very unorganized and poor attention to detail. They just smeared putty over nail holes, a four inch wide by four inch long jagged mess to cover small puncture holes. The time spent cleaning up their mess and sanding the terrible patches everywhere then repainting where they poorly painted was ridiculous. Won't go with the lowest quoted price ever again. Save yourself the headache and hire a professional.

My electric bill is $85 for a 2500ft home now. My experience with Ecoview has been wonderful! Our installers were SPECTACULAR. So professional. Bagged every window to minimize construction dust in my home. Vacuumed. They installed thoroughly using the correct long screws and spray foam around every window, then trim and caulk. Didn't damage any of my stucco or drywall. My windows all work great and sit squarely. No complaints at ALL about the installation or quality. Ecoview was my lowest quote for my impact windows but had the best warranty which is why I went with them. At first, the price made me nervous but now I'm so glad I didn't waste extra money with another company. The only feedback I have is that the original estimator (owners son I believe) was young and made some unprofessional comments while he was at my house. He commented about my mattress being on the floor in my room (none of his business but I was clearly moving in- I had boxes everywhere!). I also had to call to check on the status of my windows and called again to schedule. No issues there but be sure to check on things yourself if you want them done quickly! Carlos, the owner, has been spectacular. He came out to my house and met with me before I ordered. He was so thorough, knowledgeable, not sales-y. Really had a wonderful experience working with them. Still waiting on my inspections because one window was delivered to Ecoview damaged and has to be replaced- totally understandable! Once the inspection is done, the screw holes in the photos will be covered by a trim piece. Now that Dorian is approaching, I'm relaxing while my neighbors are boarding windows! BUY THE IMPACTS!!
