I like how it has a basket in front to put things in and it has a lock also. I only wish it had a bottle holder for water bottles and things like that. It's easy to download the app that will tell you what bike number will release for you to take and ride. Bikes are nice and taken care of and reliable. You can find all the Pacers Bikeshare locations on the app as it will pull up what location is closest to you where you currently are at. Make sure when you return it to click it into the corral and it will let you know when it's returned correctly. Great organization that I'm glad they have here in Indy!

Started in 2014 and managed by the team behind the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, the Pacers Bike Share started with 25 stations and 250 bikes along the trail. Today, there are 51 stations. The Pacers Bikeshare has had 19 million minutes ridden and 2 million pounds of carbon offset. You can download the Bcycle app and ride anywhere in the city. They're ideal for Indy's trail system. I would note that you have to return the bikes to one o the 51 stations. Bikes are available 24/7, 365 days a year. Marion County residents are eligible for an annual pass known as IndyRides Free. This allows for free 30-minute trips with a classic bike or e-bike. Classic bikes are $2 to check out and $.20 a minute. E-bikes are $5 to check out and $.25 a minute. There's a traditional annual pass ($150) that offers unlimited 60-minute trips with no check-out fee - it includes classic and e-bikes. What really finally sold me on the Pacers Bike Share program is that they added adaptive bikes. In 2019, a grant from the CIBA Foundation allowed the addition of adaptive bikes designed for folks like me - those who either aren't comfy with two-wheeled bikes or who have mobility challenges. They offer four different types of bikes (including recumbent bikes). First-time users are advised to stop in and get appropriately fitted to a bike. Cost of adaptive bikes is $10 an hour plus tax. This includes the bike fitting, a helmet, and a lock! I Pricing Adaptive Bike Reservations: $10/hour (Bike fitting, helmet, and lock included!) They have an Everybody Rides program, as well, offering the option at reduced rates. It is important to note that adaptive bikes are more limited in availability (not 24/7) - M-F, 9a-5p and additional hours on weekends (the website is a tad confusing about weekend hours). I love this effort to include those with various challenges and I've tried them for myself and it's just an awesome option. Pacers Bikeshare really is a gem of a program and I definitely recommend checking it out. It's practically impossible to go downtown without seeing the Pacers-themed bikes and now that adaptive bikes are an option even more people can get active and involved.

You will be taken advantage of, threatened to take down bad reviews, and talked down to. My experience with the David made it clear that he doesn't respect women or his customers. He promised to refund half of the bogus "diagnostic" test. We did NOT receive a diagnosis. We did NOT have any proof of what was done to "diagnose" anything. David talked down to me in the store, belittling me like I didn't know what a diagnostic test was. That will never be something I am willing to take from anyone, especially not you David!!!! Stop taking advantage of people and then threaten them to take down honest reviews!!! Most recently, this clown threatened my wife to only return half of the money if a different review was removed. (Google) Not going to happen, bud. The truth hurts sometimes, David. Honest reviews are the consequences of being a shady, dishonest, misogynistic business owner.

Since no prices were displayed in the store, I asked for clarification and was told via Instagram (in writing from the owner) that the "Ranger S" was priced at $1,199. This also matched the sale price on the manufacturer's website at the time. As a matter of fact, this model is still on sale for $1,299 with free accessories. So this is even more insult to injury. The $1,199 price (on the manufacturer's website) also included free accessories, but I did not press the issue. When I returned on July 22 to purchase, I was charged $1,499 instead of $1,199--an overcharge of $300 before tax. I immediately asked for the adjustment, but the owner has failed to issue a refund despite multiple messages and even an in-person follow-up. Weeks later, I've received no communication and no resolution. I even offered to spend the additional $300 in the store - still no reply. This feels dishonest and unprofessional. If a business cannot honor its own listed prices--or even return a simple message--it should raise red flags. There are no return policies printed on the receipt or posted on their website. Avoid shopping here unless you want to risk being overcharged and ignored.

I have been in occasionally to get other supplies as their variety and selection is superb! Their inventory includes all sorts of bikes that you could need, including Electric, Road, Mountain, and Hybrid/City bikes. They have also increased their inventory with the acquisition of Gray Goat, allowing them to carry Specialized bikes. The sales staff are always helpful and will go out of their way to get you what you need (even ordering a bike in the size that would fit you best). Prices are high, but I think they're around what you'd find at other bike shops. Unfortunately, cycling is an expensive hobby/activity. If you do purchase a bike, they do install accessories (for free in my experience), so you could add a pannier rack, bottle cage, light mounts, and more to your bike before even taking it home! To give you inspiration for some rides, there is also a map in the back of the store showing the local Indy trails and recommended routes to explore. In addition to bike supplies, gear, and clothing, they also sell fitness equipment like treadmills, bike trainers, etc. at this location, but I haven't really explored that section of the store. The only thing I would note is that I would not recommend getting here via bike, as 82nd Street is a very busy thoroughfare and the surrounding area is very car-centric, unfortunately. But otherwise, it is a great store with pretty much everything you could need to get riding!
