    This business scammed me by charging me for an unauthorized service and then demanded payment for…read morework that I never gave the okay for. They also never asked me what the issue was that I was having and assumed very incorrectly about prior damage that had occurred more than a year prior. My computers worked perfectly after those spills because I was able to do a cleaning of them all those months ago. Their forced cleaning of my computers didn't resolve my issue at all because my actual issue was electrical issues we had been having in our home, and if they had asked me what problem I was having with them in the first place they would have known this and could have earned their money legitimately instead of scamming me for it. I ended up having to pay them $150 just to get my computers back with the same exact problem. The issue wasn't with them at all but was with the monitors. If they had spoken with me we could have figured this out before this unneeded cleaning service was forced upon me to pay for. I signed up for a free diagnostic and then he called to tell me I owe $69.99 per computer. What a scam! The front desk gentleman is very nice, but the actual repairman is a scammer. They also won't refund me the money! So now I have to buy new monitors which is more than $150 on top of the forced cleaning fees! Unbelievable! This is shady business and they shouldn't be allowed to keep scamming people. At first I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought this was only a misunderstanding, I reached out very kindly to explain all of this and ask for my money back. They only ignore me like I don't exist anymore. Of course, because he knows he scammed me!

With computer repairs, I always expect bad news across the board: cost, timeline, actual…read moredamage, etc. While they can't completely fix something that's totally dead, I am quite impressed with how well they do with equipment on all three counts (time, cost, function). Have had several visits to them in which I was really expecting something bad, but each time I've come away with fully functioning equipment at a very acceptable price.

    After 25 years of 5-star, stellar service from Verizon, the last 5 months have been so bad that I…read morewould leave today if I weren't locked into a trade-in credit on my last cell phone. They have shifted into some shady practices all of the sudden. After this phone is paid off, I will definitely be leaving Verizon. In March 2024, I went into a Verizon store (7790 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236) just to explore the cost of a phone upgrade so I could begin saving for it. They told me that with "loyalty rewards" they were able to apply, they could upgrade me to the latest iphone right then and my bill would not change. I questioned it because it sounded too good to be true. I should have listened to my gut! However, In 25 years, I had only experienced outstanding service, so I had no reason to doubt them. To start, they didn't tell me they were changing my plan. I still don't know what the change in plan accomplished, other than it created issues with my apple music and it enrolled me in and began billing more for Netflix, which I already have through another account. Those were a pain to correct. However, this change caused my bill to be several hundreds of dollars more on my first full bill after the changes. It went from about $430 a month to $737 for ONE MONTH. I have made multiple calls to Verizon. They said that something was done wrong and they corrected my plan so my additional billing is back to "mostly normal" (still a bit higher). However, they still have not credited me the $300 overchange from March. Each phone call to them is over an hour, there is never a supervisor available, and they always promise both to credit the issue and have a supervisor call me back (or they will call me back), and nothing ever happens. It's been the same for the last 3 calls (not including the calls prior to get the plan and apple music corrected). Around the same time that I upgraded, my niece did the same thing and had the exact same experience. Her issue was eventually corrected, but she got the same runaround with multiple store visits and the same empty promises. Lastly, my sister-in-law recently passed away. She had a family plan that I was working with her daughter to cancel. Verizon made us transfer the plans into her daughter's name in order for her daughter and son to keep their device trade in promotional credits. They could not just cancel and start new individual plans without losing that credit! The problem is that they promised an instant transfer credit to her daughter, plus a refund that was to come a month later on my sister-in-law's account, neither of which ever came. Across my issue and this issue, I have spent probably 5+ hours on the phone with Verizon to no avail. Given that this is 3 separate issues that I am a part of/aware of since spring of this year, I can only imagine that there are more. Something significantly changed with Verizon. I don't know if its new ownership or what, but it is definitely SHADY now!
