Diary of 2 Stayers in Currarong.
Day 1. Thoughts of buying fish & chips & a bottle of wine & dining on the balcony at 4:30pm were dashed by a uppity plump youngish front of shopgirl stating "NO food, NO seating until the 'restaurant' opens at 5:00pm!" And what fine fish can we expect that is worth the wait? "Blue Grenadier"!!?? Yes that's right that fine frozen NZ deep sea fare! Pass!
In the following few days we spent upwards of $150 in the store on generals.
Day 6. Called in on the way back from cruising around at 3:00 to enquire about takeaway food for the evening. A nice young girl told us the kitchen opens at 4:45pm and to ring and order and collect or just stop by. Rocked in/by at 5:10 to a CLOSED shop and a hefty looking bloke staring right back out at us as much to say 'Eff Off'!! A phone call just rung out as we stood outside.
Moral to the story? Zac's Place is utter shite! No Competition? Chances are, there is no business either. Wither and die, Zac's Place is a disaster inside. read more
