The atmosphere was great, with comfortable lounges and nice decor. The staff were nice, attentive and helpful with order selection. There is a large selection of wines and beer if you wish to drink. The most important thing that needs mentioning is the food. It was perfect. Quite possibly the best food i have had in my life. We ordered 2 tapas dishes, an entree and a main, the main was an accident (our fault) and we didn't intend on getting it, but we are very glad we did. The two tapas options we had were tempura prawns and the meatballs. The tempura was cooked perfectly, the prawns were delicious and not undersized with a delicious sweet sauce that accompanied the dish very well. The meatballs were amazing, they fell apart in your mouth. With a nice tomato sauce then on top a yogurt mint sauce they were a pleasure to eat. The entree we ordered was the gnocchi ragu with slow cooked beef cheek. The best gnocchi we have ever had. It was amazingly soft and delicate and the sauce was rich and hearty, superb for a cold evening. The succulent beef cheek dissolved on the plate and was complimented by enticing polenta and sweet potato. The price was not high enough for the quality of food that came out of the kitchen. All in all we had an amazing time and will be going back again.

So to my Eggs Benny.. It is stated to be served on a muffin.. I added Mushrooms & Hash brown - roughly 4 - 4.50 extra each. If that was a muffin it was the dense heavy muffin I have had! It was like a burger bun - maybe they ran out of muffins... but be courteous and let me know. It was plated OK but honestly not much flavor there... The hash brown was sprinkle With what I think was Dukkar or some horrible mix of flavored salt and I couldn't eat it.. YUK! Overall was very disappointing and wish I didn't waste my money.

The seagulls are annoying as they do come near you if the food is not surrounded by people. Otherwise they are just there, watching... There are two sections - cold seafood and the fried seafood. You get to choose how you want your fish to be done - battered, crumbed or grilled. Besides chips, there are also some salad sides that can be ordered. I had the crumbed fish (almost like the Japanese panko coating which did not overwhelm the fish) which was freshly fried and good. My friend had the grilled barramundi which was equally good and fresh. We also had the salt and pepper squid (calamari) with chips which were so-so as it was salty to me. From the cold seafood section, we bought 1/2KG of cooked prawns which were huge and sweet. A bit too salty at times as they were pre-seasoned with salt. What's with all the salt in Australia? The raw oysters (pre-shucked and shrink-wrapped in a tray) were gorgeously delicious. Super fresh with no fishy smell or taste to it. And the price was good too. About $11 for a dozen regular size rock oysters. How could you say no to that? Most people order the food for take away but you can dine outside on the patio. Just remember to clean up after yourself so that the seagulls do not get to the waste. The bins are right there. Bring your own sauces if you do not wish to purchase there. Also your wet wipes to clean your hands. There are no washroom on the premise but there is one at the end of the parking lot where the sailing club building is. Parking is easy.
