If they're doing it to me (where I caused no damage, and I'm sure they'll respond that I did in hopes a potential tenant believes them), they're doing it to all of their tenants. If you decide to rent from them, do a move in inspection, take videos and photos of EVERYTHING and make sure your lease reflects a move in inspection. Their lease agreement is littered with items to keep them safe. Push back on items such as automatic annual rent increases, adding language around a move-in inspection, tenant paying their lawyer fees, etc. Anmark has been in business for years. They must keep closing and reopening their Google reviews because of repeated landlord behavior like this - there's no other way a company in business this long would only have 1 other Google review. How do you think they can afford to purchase a super expensive commercial building on Pineapple Ave? It's not through being ethical to tenants. I'm sure they'll reply with a made-up justification, but the important thing is that other potential-tenants see this review, think twice, protect themselves, and go somewhere else.
