Zachary Saen brings 20 years of professional makeup artistry experience spanning celebrity, editorial, fashion, music, commercial, and production work.
His career began with more than seven years at MAC Cosmetics, including work with the MAC Impact Team, before he moved into an extensive freelance practice serving private clients, performers, and public figures, alongside photographers, publications, and production teams.
Celebrity and entertainment clients have included Halle Berry, Emma Stone, Amanda Seyfried, Alec Baldwin, Carnie Wilson, Migos, and Flo Rida, with professional makeup credits appearing in ELLE, Interview Magazine, W, Vanity Fair, Vogue Italia, Sports Illustrated, and ESPN Magazine.
Trained as a classical painter, Zachary developed an approach to makeup rooted in color theory, balance, light, and an understanding of the face as a whole. He became particularly known for complexion work—creating skin that appeared polished, luminous, and healthy while still looking like skin. Rather than masking or transforming a face, his work focused on refining what was already there.
Bridal makeup became one of the most meaningful parts of his career. His signature bridal style was fresh, radiant, and refined, with softly perfected skin and just enough definition through the eyes to create a look that felt beautiful, modern, and subtly sensual without ever feeling overdone. The goal was always for the bride to recognize herself—only at her absolute best.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile.
I take what I do seriously because I genuinely love this art—the transformation that happens when a face is refined, balanced, and brought to its fullest potential. My philosophy has never changed: enhance beauty, never overpower it, and leave every client feeling polished, confident, and completely like themselves.
