We needed a plumber. called several places and they never showed up. Called Jerry late in the day…read moreand he was there early the next day. He was fast, the work was great, he was helpful and considerate. I recommend him to anyone, anytime. He's now my go-to for plumbing and HVAC.

I contacted Jerry to provide an estimate for a complete boiler replacement and hot water heater…read morereplacement. I told him upfront that I had already purchased brand-new equipment, and he agreed to come out and evaluate the job. Once he arrived, however, he began pushing other equipment instead of focusing on the installation I had requested. It gave me the impression that he was more interested in selling different units, potentially for additional profit or supplier incentives, than working with the equipment I had already purchased. He also made negative claims about Weil-McLain, suggesting that replacement parts could become difficult to find if the boiler broke down. Rather than simply accepting those claims, I contacted the manufacturer directly. I was told that parts would be available for the next 15 years, with historical parts availability often extending to approximately 25 years. That conversation raised serious questions for me about the accuracy of the information Jerry had provided. Another major concern was his suggestion that the work could proceed without permits, despite his being a licensed contractor. That was a significant red flag for me. I also reviewed examples of his previous work and was not impressed with the quality or level of workmanship I would expect from a highly experienced plumbing professional. Despite these concerns, we discussed the project, including proceeding without permits, and agreed that there would be a contract. The following day, I texted Jerry about the contract. He responded that he would not be doing the job because he had told me to give him a few days to prepare the material list. His response focused on the material list rather than the agreement we had discussed, leaving me frustrated by the communication and lack of follow-through. My experience was disappointing from start to finish. I expected straightforward communication, accurate technical information, professional workmanship, and a clear written agreement. Instead, I came away with concerns about the sales approach, the information provided, the permit discussion, and the handling of the agreement. Based on my personal experience, I would not hire Jerry again. I recommend that anyone considering hiring him get everything in writing, independently verify technical claims, and clarify permit requirements before moving forward.
