We did in fact need to buy a new washer dryer set and our cleaner was not able to use the old ONE SINGLE TIME after his "no problem found" diagnosis. I suspect he's not a bad guy - maybe it was a bad day.

Weirdest thing ever. Last week I called MB Appliance to have someone fix my refrigerator. This is a…read morerecurring issue, and I'd had it fixed last year by someone I couldn't reach this time. These guys got someone out immediately, so I was very grateful. Mario was here within 30 minutes, and when he got here, he stood looking at the fridge (not even opening it) for several minutes before saying anything at all. Then he mentioned that he'd been out several times in the past for this same fridge (previous owner of the house) and had never figured out what was wrong. He took a couple of panels off, checked a few things, and said that he didn't know what to do, no charge for that day because he hadn't fixed anything, but call again Monday if the fridge didn't start cooling. Fifteen minutes after walking through our door he was gone. A few minutes after he left, another repair person returned my call from earlier, and came out an hour later. He took things apart, showed my husband what had happened so that when the issue arises again my husband can fix it, and charged a reasonable rate. Just now, the office of MB Appliance called me to ask where I wanted my invoice sent. I was confused, and asked what invoice. The woman said "For fixing the refrigerator." I explained what had happened, she said "Tell that to Mario," I said "Mario's the one who said there was no charge because he didn't do anything." Silence for a moment, then she said "Don't ever call us again!" and then hung up. Done.

No call back. I called another company and they found the main issue that Scott's didn't. I don't like beating up companies as people make mistakes, but I didn't get good service. We talked about working on overtime rates due to the holiday and I said fine but when you add it up Scott it was unethical what you did, for LESS THAN 60 minutes of work. I was left to repair the real problem myself. Truck Driving Charge $26 Overtime labor 3@ $158= $474 R-22 Freon $43.63 TOTAL with tax=$566.28 WTF, charging people $158 for driving across island and then again for driving back. That's $316 in made up bullshit, a complete ripoff. Furthermore you told me the dryer needed to be replaced and would email me a quote to fix that and also a separate quote to replace my entire system which is old and due to replace soon. I was open to that but your quotes or bids never came, no follow up, no calls, nothing. I ended up following up with Angel at your office and she said you would call me back and you still didn't! What a shame. If you are looking for professional service, with timely follow up, at an ethical price, Scott's Cooling is not the choice. If you want to refund me some $ and make things right I can adjust this review but as of this moment I feel violated.
