AVOID. What a scam... first you can't actually talk to anyone there (is there even a "there"? might be running it from a boiler room somewhere). You have to talk to a call center. It takes about 20 minutes for to gather ALL your information; similar to a mortgage application. Then, after they have all your information, they tell you there's a minimum $4500 job fee. If you don't have $4500 to give them, they're apparently not interested. I'm sure they don't sell your information or anything. Awful business practices read more

My experience with Yutka Fence was excellent. This was a big project for me which involved a lot of elements (tree removal, layout). The planning went as expected and Justin was extremely informative. They handled the permit and inspections and were prompt and professional. The crew that worked on my property was quick and respectful. Juan, the foreman, was great. They left no debris and were done quicker than I expected. Would like to take this opportunity to thank the Yutka Fence team for the quality work they did removing my old fence and installing the new one. I had researched other potential fence installers but decided to go with Yutka. From the initial sales interview through the completed project, I was met with a professional get the job done right attitude from every employee from Yutka Fence. During the installation of the new fence, I was able to ask questions and help get the fence completed to my satisfaction. After the fence was completed, I noticed that a section of the fence was not straight. I sent photos as requested to help resolve the problem. Shortly after that the installer had the fence fixed. I believe the cost of the fence was worth every penny spent. It's a great feeling knowing that the new fence adds to the value of the property and provides privacy and beauty at the same time. I have mixed feelings about this company. They came out and did an estimate in quick fashion. Once I agreed to get the fence and paid 1/2 down the communication dropped. I had to reach out to them continually to figure out what was going on next or if they even got my payment. The installers showed up on the scheduled day but never gave a certain time or called to confirm the install in advance. The installers are very hard working and did a partial wood fence very quickly (4hrs). I have nothing but good things to say about the installers. They were wrapping up to leave and I ran outside before they pulled away and noticed some parts of the fence didn't reach the ground. I was concerned due to having dogs. They quickly added some wood pieces on the bottom to secure it. Just unfortunate they don't follow up with the home owner for a final check before leaving. A few weeks later I looked into a wire fence for the remaining 2 acre lot. It was pricey and I had concerns with the type of wire and strength. The salesman was great with communication and options to be cheaper.....UNTIL I put a payment on the fence. Communication again stopped. I had no idea when they were coming and Bam- they showed up a few days earlier than I expected. It took them 4 days to complete as it was a very large yard. Again the installers were very hard working and even worked in blizzard conditions. Again they left and no final inspection with the homeowner. They did not place in ground spikes in as agreed to keep the wire tight to the ground. I texted the sales person and they came right back and placed tent camping stakes to hold the fence? Again I was concerned as they have a tiny hook which would slip off if the fence wire moved a little bit. They removed the camping stakes and placed the U spikes we initially agreed on. I still had concerns about the gaps of the fence to the ground, as I was promised it would be tight to the ground. My concern through this entire process beginning to end-was doggie escapes. The sales person was very hard to reach and I thought he blew me off as he wasn't returning text, emails or calls and even no showed on a schedule visit for a follow up inspection to discuss the gaps. Then one day out of the blue, when I was not home, he came over and entered by backyard to look at the installed fence. Never asking prior permission to enter my property. I have security cameras so thankfully I recognized him- otherwise I would have called the PD. We discussed options over the phone to fix the issues, which included a wood plank board at the base of the fence to prevent doggie escapes. He said he would check on what they could do to resolve the issue and then I got an email for a estimate for additional $4k!!!! This was concerning as I just paid $15k total for both fences and you want to charge me MORE to fix the issue. I'm ok with a little more money but $4k for some wood boards!!!!! That was truly upsetting. Of course I never heard back from the office or sales person after that. read more

I recently called yutka fence to give me an estimate for a repair to my fence. I spoke to Julie on the phone to attempt to get an estimate. 1st words out of her mouth were "did we install the fence". The fence was already in place when we purchased the house. However, I had 3 additional sides added to it after we moved in. Yutka was the installer. Julie asked if I could send her a picture of the damage, so she could quote based on the picture. Having recently had foot surgery, I am unable to do that. She told me that there would be a $99 service call charge to have one of their project managers come out to quote it. No thanks, not ever doing business with this company again! We needed to have some fence posts replaced on a aging cedar fence. The first contact seemed positive but it took them three weeks to come out for a look. I was told they would send an estimate for the repair within a day or two. Two months later, nothing. When I contacted them I was told they had no record of my request. At their request I sent them pictures and contact information for the estimate. Following contacts through email convinced me that they weren't interested in my needs unless it entailed a new fence install. They ignored me and then jerked me around. Would've rated 5-stars but would recommend intially showing up to work site in a mask. And asking owner of resident if it us ok to smoke on property - I picked up 10 cigarette butts from my yard. We needed our broken lock fixed and even though they don't sell this type of fence anymore, they honored our warranty. Brad did a great job!

So it disappointed. We had to have our posts replaced as the concrete was not properly installed. Because the concrete was installed almost 3' below the ground level it was impossible to was impossible to have it removed. All the posts are rotted between ground level and and where the cement was poured. read more

I recently saw their name on a fence in my neighborhood, looked them up and read their sweet profiles on their website. When I called to ask for an estimate, she said I need to be prepared to pay a minimum of 5k or they can't do my "small Job." I was shocked, that hadn't even seen what I needed from them. My husband is deployed, it's a safety issue, and there is a street in my backyard and 4 littles kids playing. I'm disappointed! And feel sick inside. No one is kind anymore! read more

Great sales pitch, horrible follow-up. We had our 4 foot fence replaced with a 5-6' one. The crew flew through tearing apart and the initial build of the fence. There were multiple minor things wrong/needed repair and we got no response- until we told them we weren't paying the other half until they were fixed. They came back out and fixed most of the issues and were to come back the next day to fix the rest- for whatever reason, my spouse gave them the check for the other half that night and shockingly, they never returned. Our neighbor let us know the next spring that most of the panels custom built on site were coming off- they only put screws in the top rail, not the other two. Complete hack job read more

He does not know their products or business. He has made no attempt to call us back. No knowledge of the products they carry or how much to charge for install. This is my 2nd time having yutka fence do my fence project. I have to say the 1rst time around was a lot better. The fence is nice but the communication was bad. I was told a time and I do understand they get stuck on another job but I was never updated I had to be the one to call a few times to ask where the crew was. I had received a quote from Ryan and he calls me week later saying he can offer me better deal on what was quoted and he said he could offer better. I was busy at the time and it was end of the day, and asked him to call me next day and follow up. Few days later I call them because I never got call back and I actually spoke with Ryan. He said he never bother calling because 'slots were filled'. I told him I was disappointed on how this was handled and he just abruptly hung up. Really rude and definitely not very professional. Yutka installed a beautiful vinyl privacy fence around my back yard. The quality is excellent and the work was done in about two days. They also accommodated a request to adjust the latch on the gate. The price was actually less than another estimate that I had received. Although there were minor issues with contacting them especially on weekends, I am pleased with the work, I love my fence and I would recommend them. read more

Yutka fence started out being a very promising company with a great sales pitch and service. Once I decided to go with them I gave them a deposit. First they lost my layout papers and kept insisting they had the correct one. I kept a copy of the right one and had to send it to them. Next they kept pushing my installment date back. Once the crew finally showed up, it took almost 3 days to for them to finish (was told 1 day), and they tried installing it in the front yard for some reason. Glad my boyfriend was there to tell them its in the backyard.. Once they finished, they said they would come back later in the afternoon to put the gate latch on and had a few more boards to put up. Never came back. Didn't show up for a few days. Had to call and ask what was going on, finally came back. Also mentioned to the office that I was unhappy with the way they cut the dog eared posts uneven and wanted them to fix it, and that there's a board missing so there's a gap in my fence. Never got back to me about that. I emailed them with pictures of it, no response. I called again and they said the manager would call me back about it. NEVER DID. So now I'm stuck with uneven posts and a gap in the fence. Other than that, the fence does look nice, I'm happy with that. But I'm very upset they are ignoring me and won't follow up like they are supposed to. I'm lucky I didn't have more issues with the fence, otherwise it would never be resolved.
