It's a fun dinning experience . Customers have the freedom to make their own bowl. The price is reasonable. The server will give you a bowl and a card. You write your name and table number and choose rice/brown rice /fried rice or special order. I suggest to ask the rice on the side (optional) then you go the bar and fill the ingredients make sure to put the sauces on the side.you also can add dried spices which I did. The best one I had were onion, scallion, beef, teriyaki sauce, garlic oil, garlic powder and white paper. You can adjust the saltines on your table. I chooses all you can eat option so I can tried variety of combinations. The place is clean and spacious. I tried the sushi as well and it's acceptable. read more

Yummy Bowl is such a cool concept. I've never been to one of these Mongolian type of grills before and really enjoyed the customization! It was honestly pretty fun to see how much food we would be able to fit in our bowls. And the bowls look small but they do fit quite a lot depending on how you stack your ingredients. Speaking of ingredients, I was pleasantly surprised with all of the options! They even had lamb which I did not expect (I love lamb!) and many seafood options. It was my first time so I unfortunately over-salted my food; the sauces themselves have enough sodium that there's not too much of a need to add extra salt. But it's so fun to see how everyone's stir fry turns out. I will definitely be returning! The service was alright but I wish they asked if we had been before and explained how it works. They sort of assumed we knew what to do until we told them that we didn't. read more

Yummy Bowl opened approximately one month ago. It's located in the Parkridge Center retail complex in Manassas, VA. It's in the building previously occupied by Uno Pizza. I was intrigued when I saw that they are a Mongolian Barbecue joint - as I got to experience what I believe is some pretty close to authentic Mongolian BBQ back in the 1970s when we lived on an Air Force Base on Guam. At least a couple of times a month - the NCO Club on Anderson AFB would have a Friday night Mongolian BBQ special - and man did we love that! At Yummy Bowl - to start, you fill out a little card and put your table # on it and your name - and what kind of rice you want. I opted for "no rice." You then go down the line and select the veggies and proteins you want (stuff as much as you can into the bowl). Then select your sauces that your food will be cooked in. You put the sauces in soufflé cups on the side - then drop your bowl off at the end of the line - and go and sit down and wait for them to cook your meal and deliver it to your table. I selected green beans, onions, broccoli, bean sprouts, mushrooms, corn, jalapeños, pork, and chicken - and three slices to cook my food in. My bowl was delivered to my table a few minutes later - fresh and hot! I requested some chopsticks (the default is they provide you with a fork) and a side of Sriracha sauce - which my server Maggie promptly delivered. Bowl of food was tasty! I am sure I will be back! Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay. #YummyBowl read more

The food here is AWESOME! I haven't tried the sushi yet because I've been too busy enjoying the custom bowls of food I can create. They give you bowl, and you fill it with raw ingredients: veggies, meats, fish, sauces, and spices. You tell them what kind of rice you want, and let them cook it all for you. I recommend the sausages, beef, chicken, and/or shrimp. They are very reasonably-priced for what they offer. This is pur new go-to spot! read more

Friendly staff, you can sit and order from a server or go up and choose your bowl. We loved the fried gyoza dumplings. The ramen is very tasty as is the stir fry bowl. Recommend trying! read more

for a Saturday evening, we were seated promptly and immediately got our drink orders in. After a quick instruction, we hit the line. great selection of veggies, but the protein variety really surprised me. the lamb and beef mix i made ended up suburb. The "unlimited" bowl option is a great value, as I chose to make a couple of small bowls to test several different mixes and sauces. great personable service, good value, and nice separated dining areas. If they keep up the quality we had, we will be back many times. read more

The pick it yourself bowl was a bargain at $15.50 if you prefer unlimited bowls $3.00 extra. Sushi rolls $5.50 each. Get the rice on the side. Everything was wonderfully done. Service tiptop and kept up with the crowd. Decorations were austere read more

Visited Yummy Bowl for the first time today for lunch. Good deal for $13.99 or you can do unlimited for 3 dollars more but the one bowl filled me up. Food was tasty and fresh and service was also good. We'll definitely be back! read more

I like this place. Fill up a bowl with the ingredients you want.. choose your sauce and spices.. voila. They cook it, you eat it. Can't beat that. Nice and hot and delicious. My only complaint is that on hot days, AC just gets turned on when they open so it takes a bit of time to cool down. read more

Tried Yummy Bowl last night. The food was great. Fresh veggies & every protein you can imagine. Ella (our server) was extremely helpful, explaining how everything worked. There are ample tables that can support larger parties. The price was more than reasonable ($16 for one bowl, $19 for all you can eat). Overall a great experience! read more

I've been waiting for this place to open for what felt like forever, so I was excited to finally try it today. It was definitely worth the wait! The sushi was fresh, delicious, and the specialty rolls were a great size. I'm so glad we finally have a great sushi restaurant close to us. We'll definitely be back again! read more

Service was nice and dining area clean. Noted seafood and veggies were less than fresh. First Mongolian grill I have ever been to where you don't watch the cooking- spices and sauces need more variety and fried rice was dry. Was hopeful love Mongolian food but regret this choice maybe buffets just can't be maintained in this economy read more

Absolute hidden gem! Food portions are super generous and the staff was unbelievably friendly. If you're looking for good prices for hearty portions of food, this is your place, because the bowls are legit sizes and prices are absolutely legit for what you get. Will definitely be making this my normal go to for the family. read more

Our first time visiting this restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was okay. You have lots of options to choose from.

This place is amazing! Very clean, delicious and the service was great! It is a bit cheaper to go for lunch ($14.99) (non all you can eat). Whereas all you can eat for dinner is $18.99. Everything is wonderful and we will be eating there in the future! read more

New spot in Manassas, where Uno used to be. Staff are so kind and attentive. Food is truly yummy.

Look I would've eaten and enjoyed the food more if they were more honest with the type of cuisine and food they offered. They advertise themselves as a "Mongolian" restaurant and say on their website "feast like a mongol" but checking the menu, there is nothing Mongolian at all! In what world does Mongolian food offer ramen or sushi... that's Japanese! As a Mongol myself, I was expecting buuz, huushuur, or tsuivan. Major disappointment! Mongolian stir fry is tsuivan but nothing is added that is even equivalent to that! Take the Mongolian name out and just name it an Asian stir-fry why use a culture for advertisement read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. Came in to eat 915. Get seated and told someone will be right with me. Maybe 2 tables eating in the whole place and about 6 people working walking around. Not much working more like just talking. It's 930 and I Just left and not 1 person even came by the table. Then when I get up and leave they all look and stare at me as I mention apparently no one wants to work. Absolutely horrible and unacceptable will definitely not be coming back to this location and I go to one in Maryland all the time. read more

For my first visit I ordered in. I was seated and given a card to write my name and check which starch I wanted ;brown or white rice). I chose Brown Rice, ordered my drink and was sent to the fresh food station to fill my bowl. There was the standard fresh vegetables: broccoli, zucchini, onions, carrots, mushrooms, Napa and American cabbage, next were the noodles: rice noodles, Soba noodles, Lo Mein Noodles. The next area of the station contains animal proteins: pork, white or dark meat chicken, white fish, imitation crab, shrimp, smoked sausage, beef and whole eggs. When you slide down there are several sauces with labels that describe the flavor. You scoop the sauces in a cup and hand your bowl over to one of the cooks to stir fry your food. When your food is cooked your server will bring it to your table or to the check out counter if you've ordered take out. Take out is weighed and you pay a per lb price. It's nice that our area finally has a restaurant like this. I experienced the Ghengis Khan restaurant like this in FL years ago and i loved it. Give Yummy Bowl a try. read more

It's okay, to me it could be a lot better! Has a smell in there and when I looked at cleanliness there were lots of opportunities but staff was not busy and could be taking care of their way to make money instead of chilling read more
