My mom and I went last night to get the full head spa experience. This is the best spa in Tulsa. The scalp detox was the best. Better than any full body massage I've ever gotten. I have long thick hair and was worried that was going to be an issue but they were so kind, soft spoken and sweet. The whole atmosphere and experience was so nice. I accepted and I did have a totally different experience with the best esthetician they have - Mikalah. I even had a different head rest that was padded and Mikalah offer to pad it more for me. She really made every attempt to make sure my needs were met. So I'm revising the review to 5 stars for the absolute 200% effort they put forth to make it right. read more

I had a head spa and my husband and I had a couples body renewal right after. The head spa was OK, not what I expected but the massage was good and I was relaxed. Neither my husband nor I were happy with our couples massage. The bath was good and the warm beds felt great. As far as the massages, they asked what specific areas we wanted worked on then completely ignored those areas. Mine were my calves and ankles (I have arthritis in my ankles and physically showed her where to massage) and not only did she not massage them, she completely missed one entire leg. She also skipped an arm but it was the ankles and legs I was most concerned with. My husband's areas were his legs, lower back and hips. She barely touched his legs and hips. They spent the majority of the appointment with us on our stomachs while they worked on our shoulders and mid/upper back. Both of the ladies were very nice and professional and we tipped 20% for that and the atmosphere but it kind of felt like we were the last appointments of the day and they just wanted to be done as quickly and as easily as possible. In their defense, neither of us said anything because he thought maybe it was just his therapist and he didn't want to ruin my experience and I felt the same. After we left, he finally asked how my massage was and we realized we were both disappointed. It is a lovely place, very calming and relaxing and again, the people we dealt with were all very nice and professional. read more

By request only" During our visit, I couldn't remember everything that was to be included but felt we didn't get all that we'd expected. We did not receive nor offer the champagne nor mock-tails. The foot soak was just water in some bowls on the floor while the massage therapist talked with us. They asked about pressure with our massage and I said I liked it more pressure and they said "oh we are just aestheticians so we only do light pressure kind of like a Swedish massage." Indeed the pressure was so mild it was toying with the line of calling it a massage. The bath was just water, nothing in it. They said we could was up if we wanted to but the shower gel bottle was empty and the spout of the tub was coming off. I'm pretty sure we didn't receive any like a Thai herb compress. The facial felt pretty close to my usual nightly routine. The 10 minute refreshment was two small cups of water, two whole mandarin oranges, two mints and two worthers candies. Perhaps we did take in the descriptions as well as we should, but for the top package for the couple choices we expected a thorough and relaxing massage and facial. That in which we didn't receive. We came in today from out of town. We travel a lot and like to spend a day at a spa while we are in town. We had a 90 minute couple massage and have to say it was one of the best we have ever had. I am a yoga teacher and spa goer always on the search for the next BEST in bodywork. After my first appointment with Katie I was impressed with the uniqueness of her approach and ability to listen to my body, therefore, I booked again the following week specifically with her for a longer appointment to finish what we had started on my chronic pain. I arranged childcare and showed up early only to find out they doubled booked her and so I was given a different therapist. She was fine, but not worth the inflated prices at Yume Spa. I've had that massage a dozen times for WAY less. I don't pay $160 for a massage unless it's something special. I thought this would be worth it, but I did not get what I paid for or booked. Their booking screw up and lack of ability to make it up to me unfortunately failed them and I felt ripped off and annoyed the whole costly treatment. I had high hopes, but unfortunately today was my last day at Yume Spa. I will not be coming back again. read more

This spa has many kind ladies working there and offered some very delicious watermelon lime juice which was very hydrating. I did find booking challenging though. My spa service order was changed twice, and then once I arrived, they had changed it again without telling me. I also noticed after I got there and the sessions began, I was booked for longer than what I had requested for every service but one. I felt taken advantage of, but to be fair, the confirmation email was sent and I mindlessly confirmed my appointment, not realizing all of the services listed were the more expensive options. So if you are booking over the phone, just be cautious and double check the services, especially when the confirmation is sent, or you may be in for a surprise at check out. Because my service schedule was changed and apparently there was a mix up on top of that, I was scheduled for 70 minutes in the sauna to buy time. Based on my experience it is pretty unusual, and probably not the best idea to spend 70 minutes in a sauna. Once in the sauna room, I had to ask for a towel. Once I got that, the basket for my belongings had to be fetched while I waited. Once in the sauna, I was interrupted by an employee coming into the private room- I felt pretty nervous it would happen again, so struggled to relax. 70 minutes was a bit too long to be in the sauna, so I got out early and just sat for a bit waiting for my next appointment. I was glad I brought a book. My next session was the himalayan salt massage. I was feeling a overheated and very sweaty from the sauna and was really hoping for a shower. I asked the therapist about it. That amenity wasn't available, so I requested at least a damp towel to clean with. She offered that, and I felt cooler, but still not very clean- it was very unpleasant to go into the massage without a shower. She also kindly gave me a cold pack since there wasn't a shower to cool off in, which was kind. Because it took time to get the towel and ice pack, I didn't receive the foot soak part of the massage which was disappointing, but I understand it took time to get those things. The massage was different. It didn't include my front body- it only included the back portion. I've had many massages before, and this experience felt very unbalanced and incomplete. The facial and scalp treatment were next. Again, something was forgotten and the therapist had to run to get me a wrap. But once she took over, the session improved immensely, went smoothly, and was more enjoyable. Overall, I think the aesthetician was highly professional and the services she provided the only good part about the spa as a whole. I'm pretty bummed I don't feel I can recommend Yume since supporting a woman-owned local business in my neighborhood would have been a really nice thing. read more

This is the worst spa experience I've ever had. The building is the opposite of relaxing. The staff are unwelcoming and unfriendly. I was left in the waiting room without anyone saying hello, and when it was time for my massage, I was led down a dark hallway to my room. The massage room had no music or background noise. After coordinating a party with 3 separate phone calls, we were left with one girl having to wait alone for an hour while the rest of us got our treatments done, two girls being overcharged, and missing/requested items like spring rolls, charcuterie board, tea, and sushi.
