The girls know what they are doing and provide an excellent massage.  It can be deep tissue to rid you of the knots or an easy relaxing massage.  They are concerned about you and give a full hour.  I miss my weekly massage when out of town. Zen Spa was fantastic, offering a thorough and skilled massage at a decent price! Anna was my masseuse. She was very professional, checked in with me for pressure preference, and helped to work out my ridiculously tight muscles. I have been going to Zen Spa Massage Therapy off and on for almost 5 years. The environment is clean, neat and tidy and has a secure, yet comfortable feel. The massage therapists I have scheduled with (Nancy or Mae) always ask about massage pressure and specific areas of concern. As the massage progresses, they always check in to see how I'm feeling if I need less pressure or more deep tissue work. Every massage therapist I've had work on me there has a fantastic ability to sense areas that are a problem (even if I didn't mention it to them previously). The music is beautiful and relaxing. The tables are comfortable and clean. Their protocols during Covid were excellent and thorough. I feel blessed and thankful that I found these massage therapists. read more

Omg! This was the Best deep tissue massage I've ever had. It was pretty intense!!! But, she kept checking to see if it was too hard but it was exactly what I needed. What a poor experience, worse I've had.. Not a professional place. Came in for a couples massage as me and my husband just got married and I immediately felt super uncomfortable, could barely understand the lady. They didn't give us much privacy or instructions to get ready for the massage. It was to dark to get undressed without falling over some shoes they had on the ground next to one robe and there wasn't a 2nd robe for my partner, then practically came in and had us lay down in front of them naked, aside from underwear we were wearing. I left in more pain then I arrived with and being the day after, I feel horribly bruised on my upper back. When we left i was in pain I couldn't stand straight it was awful. It wasn't relaxing, it was painful, it was awkward and there was no music playing, I didn't even get a foot rub and it was suppose to be full body for an hour. Never going here again. I don't recommend coming to this place. Schedule an actual massage therapist appointment or don't do it at all. They are only in it for the money. Not your well being. I just had one of the best messages ever! My muscles get very tense from stress and sore from workouts. My muscles feel relaxed and ready for another work out. The lady that massaged me was very thorough and worked everywhere that needed it. I'm not sure how to explain but she really works on you. I felt like she wasn't just lazily filling the time. Called on Wednesday to schedule a couples massage on Saturday. I guess the language barrier made it impossible for the receptionist to understand what I was asking for, because even though I thought we confirmed the appointment by the end of it (she said "Saturday at 1 for two, okay bye" and hung up without taking any info from me), we showed up Saturday at 1pm and sure enough, they didn't have us booked and couldn't take us because not enough massage therapists were there working. I was looking forward to this place due to the high reviews and the week had been very particularly stressful, so it was pretty disappointing to have it fall through, especially after trying to call to book it earlier in the week just so this wouldn't happen. She did call to get another worker to come in at 2pm, but our schedule wasn't flexible enough to work around their inability to do something as simple as being able to understand booking an appointment in over the phone. read more

I am visiting from out of town and had called a national chain for a massage and they were booked. So, I did a google search for a massage place in BA and Zen popped up. I called and got an appointment the same day. I showed up at my appointment time and they took me back to a room, no waiting, and my massage lasted a full hour, not just 50 minutes like other places. It was one of the best massages I have ever had! The price was also super reasonable. My mom decided to make an appointment and she said the same thing and that she'll definitely go back. read more

If you're looking for a professional relaxing or a deep tissue massage this is the place . They are very knowledgeable in the muscles of the body they can break out those knots and when you're done you feel like a new person! Or maybe you're the person that wants a relaxing massage and just wants to leave all relaxed this is the place! I also recommend the hot stone massage it's wonderful ! I and my wife went to this place on recommendation last week, I'm surprised they have very nice private room for couples, it is so relax with soft background music that we extend to two hour service instead of one hour , we love their massage , feeling so good , we enjoy the free table shower a lot and will come back for sure . read more
