Not bad for a 24 hour donut shop. The donuts are standard, nothing crazy but taste good and were soft. Service was very friendly and quick. There is seating available inside if you want to eat there.

24/7 doughnut shop. it's on a busy street. homeless usually outside. service is good though, everyone there is patient and has a good attitude. they have holiday themed doughnuts. Valentines doughnuts are currently on the menu. also you get 14 doughnuts when you order the dozen. they have yummy breakfast sandwiches on bagels too. hot sauce included! pretty standard selection. no options for anyone with dietary restrictions which can be a downside.

Oh my gosh... I'm glad they are open early in the morning. My only complaint is that the donuts are soo dang sweet it's like seriously sugar overload. I could only eat a quarter of a donut because it was so sweet. I'm talking about the maple, and chocolate, and glazed icing. Don't get me wrong donuts are not bad just need to cut the sugar on the icing. The guy at the counter had Great customer srvs. Though. I would buy there again.

0/5 stars- I stopped in for the first time last night after seeing a play at the Guild Theatre. I ordered some type of mini loaf with Parmesan cheese and sesame seeds on top. I was breaking it apart and eating it when I bit into a piece that contained this (see picture) right in the middle of it. I tore it to see if it was, hey, I don't know ‍ but it shouldn't have been in there. What the heck is this? I've lived my whole life not visiting Yum Yum Donuts and will continue to live the rest of it NOT ever going back. Go at your own risk, as for me, I would be $16 richer had I just drove by and not stopped there and bought pastries for me and my friend. The pumpkin loaf and old fashioned looking pumpkin donut were missing pumpkin. The ingredient is literally in the name but was obviously missed in the baking. Skip this place and go support smaller mom and pop places that take more pride in their craft.

The donuts are just ok. It's mid, you know. I bought a few different things so I can give an honest opinion not just based on one thing. Sometimes that's unfair. So here we go. Donuts was mid. I wouldn't tell anyone, oh my word you have to try them. I'm like if you got mid mouth go head knock yourself out. Your choice your decision yo money. Any who breakfast sandwich was good had better sandwich for breakfast on camping trips. It's no good. Now my drink fresh blended beets, carrots and oranges good. Would have been fire if it had been cold. But it's yum yum donuts what could you expect. The best part of my trip was Mr. William outside of the joint. He is unhoused he didn't ask me for anything I asked him what did he need right now. Give him a couple of dollars prayed for him we fellowship and I went on my way. He was the best part of this yum yum experience. If you see him out there be kind to him tell him sweets sent you.

Glad to see a yum yum in Sacramento! Looked like a good selection of items to choose from. I'll go back and try out some of the other items another time. Apple fritter was D LISH US!

This place had been here for decades, there was a customer that was telling one of the staff that he used to come here as a little kid and nothing had changed..... This place is AWESOME!!! Like taking a Time Machine to how supermarkets used to be. Great service, extensive and fresh food. The Italian roots and flavor are everywhere in the walls in decorations and antiques and the service. The deli was super busy and we had to wait a bit even though we ordered online but that is worth the wait. We came like at 3pm so can't imagine this place during lunch. Packed with people and the variety, freshness and quality is impressive. I had an egg sandwich....i know a little weird but it was delicious in a Dutch crunch. Bread was crunchy but soft just perfect. Wife had an Italian sandwich which was so full of meat and peoperocinis and other stuff she could only eat half. My daughter and husband shared a chicken parm sandwich and the Corti special which you pick bread and veggies and they put whatever meat they want. Kids loved their sandwiches and next time I am in Sac area I will definitely get the parm sandwich which was delicious. Very cool place and excellent service and the cost of the sandwiches???? "Forget about it"!!!! Wow so inexpensive would happily pay double and usually do at most other Deli's we have been to with half the flavor or size than this place. What a neighborhood gem, so jealous!

I found out later, you can also either call your order in, or you can order pick up or delivery through DoorDash. I came back on the following Monday, and the place was still busy, but not as busy. They have a decent number of cash register stations taking orders. They have an extremely large menu. I counted 18 different Banh mi variations, and lots of other things For my starter, I wanted to try the. Pate chaud, which is pate in a puff pastry, but unfortunately, they were out. Instead, I got a mini steamed bao bun, with fried chicken in the middle. For my banh mi, I ordered the egg, sausage, and pork loaf, but instead, I got the grilled pork and egg. I'm not going to take off any stars or anything, because hey, misunderstandings happen, and it was still an amazing sandwich. They gave me a number, and it was a short wait for my sandwich. Between the registers and the people making the sandwiches in back, it's like an assembly line operation. They are quick, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The sandwich was very large, The bread was still warm. I took the sandwich home, but I ate the bao bun on the way home. It was very good. The bun had a good consistency, and the chicken was excellent. Seasoned well, just the right amount of breading, and tender on the inside. When I got the banh mi home, that's when I discovered the mixup. But I enjoyed it just as much. The egg was fluffy, and the pork was excellent. . It was a little bit sweet, like a Char siu. The pork was also very tender. The veggies were fresh. There was generous Portions. I was only going to eat half, but it was so good, I ended up eating the whole thing. I will definitely be back when I'm in South sac. Heck, that sandwich was so good, I would drive down from Rancho, just to get one. Thanks!

Were these chips hand-carved by artisans somewhere? Blessed by monks in the moonlight? I'm genuinely curious. I ordered the club, and I swear there was maybe one slice of turkey and a single, lonely piece of lettuce in the entire thing. The bun, however, was enormous, so the overall experience was like eating a fluffy bread pillow with a whisper of sandwich somewhere in the middle. Honestly, the sandwich felt a bit like a mime, the idea of a sandwich was there, but the substance was invisible. I even wondered if maybe the fillings weren't hungry themselves. By the end I felt less like I had eaten lunch and more like I had participated in a sandwich-themed illusion. Sadly, it looks like I'm Togo's-bound from here on out. I always root for unique local spots, but this felt more like a "Shamwich" than a sandwich. Tough times when the hungry leave hungry. Poor sand-wich-ship indeed.

They open at noon instead of being open when I was ready after church My husband and I walked up a couple blocks, looked at all the different restaurants, and I've seen this sandwich spot many times, but I've never tried it My husband said it was catered at his work one time, but it was the cold cuts and he said he liked it However, I walked in like the inside it was clean. I needed to use the restroom. The only thing I would say is the music in there is extremely loud in the bathroom that is. They only have one restroom, so hopefully you don't go with the group of people and everybody needs to use the restroom at once For both of us to eat it was about $30. I did get chips and a soda with mine. My husband just got the sandwich I got the. "The Damon Bruce" holy moly. This was so delicious. I only eat 1/2 brought the other half home. My brother was here and he ate it and he said it was so good too so it comes with onion ring steak and they ask you if you want to put any vegetable vegetables in there so I added the tomato the lettuce and I also wanted red onion in it. Let me tell you this is my new favorite sandwich place. I'm a little bummed that there's not one in Natomas! However, I'm really glad to know this place exist.. My husband got a steak sandwich. I don't know the name of it. He said he has never had a hot sandwich before and it was so good. He doesn't give vegetables and stuff, but he did get jalapeños in his and I seen him scarf it down so he must've loved it. They got barbecue chips ate a few of them. Their bags are a little bit different, but it was good. They didn't have root beer for soda that's my only downfall. It's one of my favorite drinks however I shouldn't be drinking soda anyways, but I did have Pepsi. This made for a great afternoon after church and I will make this one of my regular stops every month The only thing that was negative was the music being too loud in the bathroom and the girl that handed me the bag of the food, but I've learned that teenagers young people these days they are not like we used to be when we were young so it's kind of like just a handoff and I don't wanna say it was rude because I think this is just how teenagers are these days. 10/10 say you must try!

I'm likely in the minority in my opinion, but bear with me. I'm torn between a 3 and a 4, and…read moresticking with a 3 because this shop just didn't measure up ... to me. For starters, Ike's has its own way of doing things: plain mayo is not their thing. Only way to get plain mayo on a sandwich is to get lucky that there's a smidgen still left in a jar in the fridge after they prepare their house spread. They mix GARLIC and gawd knows what else for spices to make their Ike's sauce, so allergies beware. They offer plain mustard, but not plain mayo? For seconds, the sandwich bread is not up to the challenge of holding together the mountain of fillings inside. Pics prove my point. I want to eat a sandwich with my hands, not a plastic fork (or a shovel). And I don't want to wear it, not in public. Proportions, people! One size does not fit all. Now, in fairness, the meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato were fresh, chilled, and flavorful. However, IMHO $2.00+ to add equivalent of half an avocado is robbery when a whole avocado is $1 in the market. Fortunately I arrived when there wasn't another person in the store so I was able order up a plain ham and cheese sub with L, T, and A. The counter person was patient as I attempted to navigate the menu board. I communicated my wish for a simple sandwich and it arrived, albeit ridiculously overstuffed and above my budget expectations. Props for kindness and understanding. My first visit to any shop is always testing how well they do basics. So far, I'm not an Ike's fan. I'm no newcomer to sub sandwiches. At 82, and being a Massachusetts native, I've been a sub girl for at least 75 years, ever since I could wrap my fingers around the perfect sub roll. For more adventurous sandwich people, go for broke! This is your place!
