This place is beautiful, but very small. I was expecting Their to be more of a farm or forest like feeling to this area. It was basically an open field with a few rows of flowers some food trucks, and a couple other things for kids to do. The hayride is you just going in a circle. So I think this is a very great family place or if you just want to take pictures but otherwise it may not be worth traveling from Atlanta for but it's still something to do and it's very affordable. read more

A racist experience made worse by a terrible owner. My daughter and her guest were bullied and harassed by an employee's child for being African American on Sunday, March 16th, 2025. The offending child said and did hurtful things while they were all playing on the bounce pad. When we called-out the child's behavior, one employee attempted to defend the racist child by claiming that the girls were being "rough". I was sitting 10 feet away from both girls and they were joyful playing without being rough once. After being harassed, the girls could not keep from crying. When we insisted on speaking to the owner, a Susie Grant, she had the gall to say about the offending child "that child does not work for me" as my own child and her guest stood there sobbing. Worse, the owner was dismissive and condescending to the girls and incapable of apologizing on behalf of the farm with any sincerity whatsoever. Grant's response to the incident made the original injury vastly worse. She attempted to invalidate the girls and deflect responsibility in a manner I can only describe as weasel-like. Thank God, one employee, an young woman named Evelyn, understood the situation and was able to acknowledge and address the girls' feelings and their hurt. Overall, a horrible experience. read more

This place has it all! Worth the drive. Good price, easy parking, lots of cute photo ops. Local vendor marketplace, food trucks. We loved our afternoon at the Pumpkin Patch! Yule Forest Pumpkin Patch is located in Stockbridge, Ga about 30 minutes south of Atlanta.The Pumpkin Patch is open from the end of September through October 31st. $10 for adults and children 2 and under are free. There is also ample free parking on the property. We entered the park on a Monday afternoon around 4:30pm. There was no wait and we were able to start exploring as soon as we arrived. First was the dinosaur! Fun in theory but a lil scary for my 2yo. We quickly moved on to the learning area an listened to the puppets and watched the bees. Then we explored the pumpkin patch. It was really cool to be able to see pumpkins growing from the vine. Then he saw the train. He didn't want to ride, just watch it from the field of the sunflowers. Then we ran through the hay maze and we survived. I get a lil nervous about mazes, but this one was easy enough for me to navigate. Then we hopped on the tractor through the cartoon forest to the farm. We were able to practice identifying our favorite farm animals and learn a few more too. There are lots of activities to try at Yule Forest. Even with a 2 year old. Our highlights were watching the train, running through the corn maze, and the petting zoo. The kiddo loves animals! There's also swings, an inflatable slide, a nature center, and sooo many photo opportunities. Get to the farm the first weekend in October to get the best pumpkin and sunflower photos. read more

So awesome I had to go twice. In one weekend. You better believe. A legit pumpkin patch, where the orange goodness can be found both on the vine and off. They've got a decent assortment of the jack-o-lantern type versus my preference: the bumpy, grotesque heirloom tomato-lookin' suckers. Hooray for that. But wait, there's more! A whole bounty of fun beyond the almighty pumpkin, including horseback riding, hay rides, a rather crappy maze, a Pioneer rabbit village (not kidding), a reptile house and a whole section devoted to teaching people how to recycle. All for the low low price of $7 (and you get a baby pumpkin upon exit!) Pretty much all you could ever need. And then there's the giant bouncy pillow. The staff here is wonderful . From the parking lot attendants to the people inside . We went on yesterday 10/14/18 around 2pm. Shockingly the lines was not long and they were moving fast. Admission is $10 and it includes everything . You only get to ride the hay ride one time & they provide tickets. The hay ride drives you around the pumpkin patch and drops you off at the petting zoo. "You want to smash some pumpkins?" -- Hocus Pocus (1993) Bring the kid in you, because they have one of those giant bouncy pillow things - and it is worth the extra $1.50 for adult admission! This place is the real deal. Pumpkins-a-plenty, and that means you can get the beautiful round or oblong orange ones, or even the green, yellow and white bumpy gourd-types. All kinds of pumpkins. A true pumpkin patch. They have plenty pre-picked for you to select from OR you can go out to the patch and select one and cut it yourself. They also have a ton of fun activities for you...er, I mean the kiddoes. Bounce houses, swings, things to climb on, hayrides, horseback riding, petting zoo (watch out, the animals bite), a reptile house, etc. And, the aforementioned giant pillow! So much fun! But, only 10 people allowed on it at once and they have 16 year old girls with no ability to assert themselves over 3 year olds managing this. --sigh-- They should have given her a bullhorn or something. Eventually we got our turn and it was so much fun - who knew I could fly? Apparently, they also have a zombie paintball ride after dark - we are going later in the day next year! I visited Yule Forest as a part of my pre-schoolers field trip. We went on a weekday when no one but groups of field trips were there. It was a bit chaotic, but the staff sorta had it under control. After visitng Hillcrest Orchard a few weeks ago, I kinda had big dreams for Yule Forest. Unfortunately I didn't have quite the same experience. Had I gone on the weekend with my kid I would have been sorely disappointed. But as part of a field trip, I guess it was okay. The setup is basically different "stations" that the kids rotated. The bouncy house station was the most fun, but you don't have to drive 40 minutes to Stockbridge to get on a bouncy house. The puppet show was boring, but I guess the kids enjoyed it. I was happy at least to see they had black and white puppets. The reptile house was okay. The hayride was wiggedy wack and Yule Forest should be glad Disney hasn't come around and forced them to take the bootleg Disney characters down. But the kids were happy to be on a wagon so that's all that matters. The worst part was the "petting zoo" which was actually just a looking zoo. Someone in my group commented that it was the place that animals go to die and truly those donkeys looked like they had just been read their last rites. I totally could have skipped that. For this to have been a visit to a pumpkin patch, I was disappointed that we didn't actually get to walk through a...wait for it...pumpkin patch. Call me crazy, but I was expecting a few shots of the kids next to pumpkins. Each child did walk away with a mini pumpkin though. All in all, I'd say this was a suitable outing for a group of 3-year olds, but anything older than 6 will probably be disappointed. read more

I had a really great time. This is an excellent place for a great fall season day trip with friends or a date. Be warned, there are lots of children around, I mean, a lot, plus, you absolutely have to wear comfortable shoes/flats, because this place is paved with a copious mix of big stone gravel, uneven ground, and stumps (from the Christmas trees, I think) pretty much everywhere. I loved it though - got my pumpkin for Halloween carving fun (lots and lots of pumpkins to choose from ranging from about $8-$20, depending on size. You can chop one from the actual, sho-nuff pumpkin patch or, just pick on out from the tent. We went on the 'hayride' (not a traditional hayride, but, like a flatbed with seating covered in hay.) There was Monster Mash music playing from a speaker and lots and lots of cardboard cutouts of Disney characters along the way for the kids. I'd return next fall. Who is it that I never knew about this amazing pumpkin patch? It is not as far as some of the others and the price is unbeatable. So, the hay ride is a bit cheesy, but at night you can do the hayride and shoot zombies with paint guns. How awesome is that?!?? My kids loved all of the bounce houses and the fact that you can cut your very own pumpkin. We went early on a Sunday morning, which is also a plus since a lot of patches are not open until 1 PM on Sundays. It was not super busy and the staff there was so kind and nice. Love this place! The people working here could not be kinder. This is the 3rd year that my wife and I have made the trip to Yule Forest from Atlanta to choose and cut our tree. As soon as you arrive, there are employees to direct you as you park and explain everything to you. They're so helpful. You can cut your own tree, or select a pre-cut. They also sell other Christmas items like wreaths, and have a play area for kids to enjoy. They will shake, bundle, and tie your tree to your car for you. Tip them well! They deserve it. We chose this pumpkin patch based on photos and descriptions from the website and social media. It was not as advertised to say the least. The pumpkin patch was tiny, dry and swiveled up, the animal experience was 2 donkeys and 2 alpaca, and the "food trucks" are extremely over priced carnival food being served under a tent. It was aggravating to pay that price, drive the distance, and arrive to find it's a glorified play ground. It should be advertised as such. If you live near by, like paying $35 for corn dogs and lemonade, and want to pay $17 a head to go to a park play ground this is the place for you, if you want a fall farm experience, go elsewhere. read more

Certain pumpkin patches in North Georgia might lead you to believe that a pumpkin stork delivers all those orange orbs to their places in neat, straight rows, precut, cleaned, and ready for carving. Thankfully, the "entertainment farm" at Yule Forest allows you to get the full experience of actually walking around a big field full of pumpkin vines and harvesting the perfect jack o'lantern candidate. Provided, of course, that you haven't exhausted yourself from jumping around and wreaking havoc on the "pumpkin pillow bounce" in the fun zone. (Note: pay the $7 to get the value deal that includes fun zone admission. It's worth it.) Barely half an hour outside of the city, this gem of a Pumpkin Patch cum Christmas Tree Farm offers a lengthy hayride, a petting zoo, pony rides on the gentlest horses I've ever seen, a talking chicken show (new this year, per the website), a bunny pioneer village (a must see), a pumpkin movie, and numerous bouncy, inflatable things for the young and young at heart. Pumpkin prices rival those at big-box warehouse stores, and the value of the experience is unbeatable. I read yelp reviews before going to Yule, and I was expecting so much more. I haven't been to other patches in GA, and maybe it's not fair to compare to my childhood patch in PA, but that's all I've got. :( It all seemed kind of sad. The reptile house was okay. There's information posted everywhere to teach kids about science. And the bee hive box was interesting. But that's about it. They have bouncey inflatables for kids, but that's not the point of a pumpkin patch. The pumpkins? Just a few rows of pre-picked pumpkins in a covered area. Not a patch, and not the fields we used to run around as kids in PA. Also overpriced. We left pretty quickly and bought our decorative pumpkins and gourds at Trader Joes. Want to entertain the kids for a few hours and take photos with sunflowers? Yule will suffice. Want an awesome patch experience with open fields and a fall foods market? Keep driving. There must be one closer to Atlanta than PA, but it's not here. read more

I went to Yule to get a potted Christmas tree, so that I may replant it outside after Christmas. (The only place surrounding ATL with potted trees!! :) We arrived around 7:30pm because we drove down from Atlanta, and I, mistakenly, thought they stayed open until 9pm. They were obviously closed upon arrival, but there were 2 men in their truck ready to pull out on what we later found was their delivery service run. A man, who seemed to be the owner, got out of his running and loaded truck to tell us they were closed and the register was gone and the men who help load trees were gone. I was so disappointed. I was 9 months pregnant and had been in the car for an hour. And I really wanted a potted tree to replant. We made one last plea and told him we had cash and didn't need change. Slowly he started to seem like he would sell us the late night tree. He kindly helped up chose the right tree, loaded it up with his tractor, and took our money. And then! He gave us a $10 discount to go to the 'baby fund.' Of course, we refused the offer, as he was doing us a favor, but he wouldn't let us leave without handing back the discounted $10. I almost cried (9 mos pregnant) at the thought of his kindness as he instructed my husband in how to care for the tree. He wished us a Merry Christmas and left on his delivery, now late because of us. I will only buy my trees there from now on. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. read more

This is the 2nd time that we have been here in the last 3 years as its one of the closer ones to Atlanta. It was very entertaining for our 2 year old, with a jump pillow, and several jump houses. The hayride is cheesy for adults but the majority of the kids seemed to like it; mine did! The petting zoo is nothing special but the kids were able to pet donkeys, sheep, goats and an emu. They did have some other attractions such as a puppet show, a bee house and a reptile house. Another reviewer stated that they only had prepicked pumpkins and that they were overpriced. As far as prices, I think they were fair prices for a pumpkin patch (they are all overpriced!) If you are looking for cheap pumpkins, yes you are better off getting them at Costco or a supermarket. As for them only have prepicked in a covered area, apparently that reviewer didn't bother to walk to the back where there definitely is an actual pumpkin patch where you can pick pumpkins right off of the vine; we sure did. read more

I brought my students to the " pumpkin patch" for a field trip. I'm not sure why it's called a pumpkin patch!Basically, the children rotate through stations. Most of the stations were jumpy trampolines and slides; we could've done that anywhere. Of course the children had fun; they got to jump! They had to take off their shoes, jump, and then walk barefoot in dirt to go down a slide. I didn't really understand the hayride. We could have done without it. We were especially excited to go to the petting zoo. There are only a few animals, but you couldn't pet them. Don't bring kids if they're afraid of dogs!!!! There was a big dog on the other side of the fence of the petting zoo that was barking at the animals! My students were scared. It was completely inappropriate and unacceptable.I asked the girl who the dog belonged to, but she said she wasn't allowed to answer any questions about the dog. What? She was so RUDE. The owner came to talk to me. It was very fishy.My students brought money to buy souvenirs at the store, but it was closed. I asked the owner if she would open it for a few minutes, but she wouldn't. So the place does not close till 9 or 10 on Friday and Saturdays , but beware if you want to buy pumpkins you have to get there before 6 or 7.. How dumb is that ? I was there around 730 to buy 5 pumpkins and they turned down my money because they "stop" selling at 7, but they still have the cash register open to sell tickets for the night activities.. So needless to say I went to Kroger and got my pumpkins (Kroger is up the street and their pumpkins are cheaper ).. Went during October for pumpkin picking left without a pumpkin. The day was hot, which didn't help. However, very little to do for small kids under 4 years. The dinosaur park is pictures of dinosaurs on the outside barn. At first I thought it was a joke but it wasn't. They do have a cool one cool Dino statue that makes sounds. This is close to home and our girls really enjoyed it! When we went this year we had been there maybe 10minutes and it started pouring down rain with no sign of stopping...long story short we left empty handed and our girls were so sad. However the next week we went back so they could actually get the pumpkin and after talking to the women up front and telling them how it was our 2nd time due to weather they did not make us pay again and let us take the girls in to enjoy what they wanted to when we originally went!
