I really enjoyed my outing here with my two toddlers. We came right at noon when they opened on a Tuesday to avoid the crowd. I was fortunate to find a code so admission was free but I had pay to feed the animals which was reasonably priced. However with little ones we ran through those tokens so fast because they were overly excited once they realized they could feed the fish ducks and goat. The goats are where most of our time was spent lol. You can pay $20 or 10 tokens to hold animals in different locations. There's a gift shop in the back which I was thankful it was tucked away and not having to walk through it while leaving so tantrums were avoided. Like other reviews yes it's fairly warm but I just figured it's to keep the animals comfortable and I dealt with it, it didn't make or break my experience just bring some water with you. Also yes the smell as soon as you walk in punches you in your nose but you go nose blind after awhile. Every staff member from the front desk to those walking around has awesome customer service interacting with My kids and I and explaining what they were doing with the animals. Hot and smells. SeaQuest is located at Stonecrest Mall. We arrived at 1 and the line was pretty long. The smell coming from the farm animals really just hits you right in the face when you enter. I wore a cardigan over a tank top and was sweating. There's so many people and very little air conditioning. Yikes. You can smell everyone's body odor. I purchased my tickets online and received my wrist bands. We also bought 15 tokens for about $32 so my kids can interact with the animals. It's cheaper to buy from the token machines inside. Save your money, don't get tokens at all. The amount of animal feed you get is very little. I'm talking about 1 tsp size. Like 2 pebbles for the farm animals, but I understand why they do this. The animals are getting feed all day long. Our first stop was to feed the catfishes. When I say there is a lot of people. There was A LOT of people. I feel like the SeaQuest was really understaffed. Parents were allowing their kids to run around in the turtle inclosure. There was no staff in sight. Poor thing was getting chased by kids. Same thing for the iguana. The only animal interaction my kids enjoyed was the parakeets. It was 1 token per person and you spend about 2-5 mins inside. I would not come back and do not recommend. read more

Lions, tigers, bears oh my...seriously their not at the aquarium but for a fraction of the cost of other aquariums you have a full experience. What I like about this aquarium, you won't be exhausted, it's interactive, and you'll be pleasantly surprised of having a zoo-like aquarium-like experience. Also, the space can be rented for birthday parties. Bring money for the gift shop, and feeding stations. read more

We hosted our Daughter's 4th Birthday party at 'SeaQuest at Stonecrest' today, Feb 4, 2023. It was amazing from start to finish. I originally reached out over the phone(with the number provided on Google) and got a call center rep who didn't really have too much knowledge on the venue. BUT-- he made it clear that he wanted to take my money to book over the phone. It just didn't feel right because I was reading reviews online that we're all bad!! So I did what any parent would do-- I drove there and was greeted with a friendly face named Keisha. She was welcoming, warm and walked me through the facility to show me the event space, as well as, some of the animal enclosures they have on site. We'll it's safe to say-- I immediately booked the ultimate birthday party package and signed up for a membership Lol. Our package included rental of the space of half the room. Yes, I made a return visit to take measurements for a space divider. We had her party on a Saturday-- we were concerned about 'crowd control' and didn't want unwanted visitors dawdling into our party. We had custom labels made to put on the wrist bands of all of our attendees to keep track of everyone. I brought in my own decor, face painter, balloon artist and food to feed everyone. It was the sweetest party experience. But look. I have to say-- this was an amazing experience from start to finish. Everyone was so accommodating and approachable for questions. Our party attendant was AMAZING (please forgive me if I butcher her name)- Geneviva or Genevieve - you guyssss... She was attentive, and always had a answer for questions asked. If you have a party there-- she will NOT disappoint. We were also helped consistently by a young lady named Lily, she led the Safari and brought over animals for our party of kiddos to have a personal meet and greet. She was so knowledgeable of all of the animals and their care routines.. She was great with all of the kids and truly helped to make this experience so sweet. We also paid for 'Oceanana' the Mermaid and 'Captain Quest' The Pirate to interact with our guests. They were great with the kids taking photos and telling stories. I totally recommend that upgrade Lol I'm going to upload photos. They kids loved the mermaid's pretty tail and were scared to get too close Lol But they didn't want to hurt her fin Lol Kids are so sweet and thoughtful. This place is a new addition to Stonecrest mall. I feel it's gonna bring a lot of traffic to the mall and it's good for business. When first walking in, The entrance was well lit , clean and neat. At admissions the customer service agents were very professional and patient explain the different options to me and help me pick the best option for my family. We purchased admission and feeding tokens and enough for experiences with the animals. Inside ,everything was clean and did not have a odor.I understand animals smell but I don't like to smell them when I go to a zoo or aquarium. It's just me. My daughter truly enjoyed the Egyptian cats I forgot what they were called. My favorite were the stingrays. I met one of the animal whisperer's name Aaron who cares for the stingrays. She was very knowledgeable friendly and willing to teach and talk to us. After purchasing "kisses feet "with our tokens she showed us how to properly feed the stingrays and we were even able to pet them. It was amazing and we truly had a great time. We enjoyed it so much purchased memberships. I personally fell in love with the stingrays and will be back next weekend to pay my friends at Seaquest a visit. read more

Hello everyone Thank you for choosing A Fancy Review, I'm Tiffancy your host today. Seaquest at Stonecrest, a great place for kids. It is definitely a nice place to have a party. You can touch pet and feed every animal in there. They have sting wrays, parrots, baby sharks, turtles, tortoises, goats, and chickens. The chickens fight each other. Lol Mouse dogs, African cats, and other animals too but, we didn't go to all of them. They have about 3 big gladiator style bounce houses. My son relayed all three of them about three times until he was ready to pass out, they have mini golf and clean bathrooms. Kids will like it. Purchase a token packs when you visit so your kid can feed the animals. The gift shop was nice and not that expensive. My son liked the options to pick out different animal figurines to stuff in a container to purchase. Everyone is so nice. All the kids loved it. They were all ages. Special thanks to every staff member there on Sunday Dec 5 from noon until 3 I was there. I waited a week to write the review so I can not remember the staff members names but I talked to almost everyone. I think going an off time is best and will give any family the best experience. The wallaby and sloth experience were definitely worth while. This place should be shut down! Heard about this place so decided to check it out with the family. The facility is in what was once a vacant store in the mall. Paid $100 dollars for 2 adult tickets / 1 child ticket with tokens. Tokens are for pet food to feed the animals. 1 token is for one crank in the dispenser which literally give you 3 pieces of food. Which I understand why they give so little. That's because literally the whole time the animals are being fed food. Aquatic tanks are dirty from all the food people Toss in. There's literally food floating in the water because the fish are being over fed. Overall this place is dirty and every exhibit looks the same. Theses animals look depressed and are either hiding or sleeping. I'm surprised anybody allowed this place to be opened. I was deceived by all the good reviews and the website. Anybody that wrote a good review were either paid or truly never been to well ran establishment. If you support this business you support animal cruelty. Theses animals deserve to be donated to a zoo, aquarium, or animal sanctuary. Save your money! read more

I throughly enjoyed my experience here and highly recommend it to everyone. I took my godson (6 yrs) and mother on Mother's Day. We went at opening and there was no one there! We were there for 3 hours and no one came in until we were about to leave. The workers are all knowledgeable and really passionate about the animals' care. They took the time to get on my godson's level and coach him on holding the animals even the ones he was afraid of. All the animals look healthy and are clearly well cared for. Rachel was phenomenal with him! My mom bought an annual pass! I will be back and will spread the word about this place. read more

Your employees are very courteous and professional. The young man in the tortoise area (I didn't get his name), Jasmine in the parakeet exhibit, and April in the Toucan exhibit were all very VERY kind and friendly. Our hats off to them!! They helped make the visit quite nice. Seaquest was smaller than we expected and the images seen online showed a much nicer facility with bounce houses. There were no bounce houses on the day we visited and we realized some of the pictures we saw must be for different locations. That was misleading. It was expensive for what it actually offered but the kids had a great time and were very happy about the experience overall. Sadly, it was apparent that the macaws are very stressed. This came as a deal . Free tickets were given away using a promo code that might have been done as a glitch or on purpose to generate interest. Now I can not vouch for other locations but this one was . Average . The mall setting is very much off putting and limits their ability to house many animals . The fact the malls indoor entrance is under construction makes it a bit off putting and the entrance has a strong smell of urine , rungs we're stained, a few games to play like darts with balls that don't stick and out doors connect 4 and some coloring sheets . We have fallen in love with this local experience. We purchased the year passports through Groupon and got an amazing deal. We have visited them about 6 times so far and each experience was amazing. We have learned so much about the animals and how they obtain them and even the different animal's personal stories. I encourage anyone who goes to reach out to the staff- some of our favorites are Sarah and April- but honestly, EACH member of the staff from the maintenance department up to management is friendly and willing to stop and answer my tons of questions. In the last couple of months, we have seen such a change in improving the habitats, experiences and even gaining new animals. Please keep in mind that they are still working on things to make the exhibits permanent- things are constantly changing in a good way- We are bummed that they removed the mini-golf- but they have other activities that they are testing out on guests such as a giant soccer inflatable and a connect-4 type game. The gift shop is really cute and has a great variety of things. Our son got a necklace that came with an oyster to open and find a pearl- he loved doing that. We have had personal interactions with the cats, parakeets, wallabies, tortoise, iguana/lizards, sloths, various fish and ducks, goats, stingrays, and more. They recently added a trio of Otters and we can't wait for them to be ready to socialize and interact with. I was particularly impressed with the respect they gave the animals. We had a scheduled interaction with the sloths and they were sleeping up in their little bed area. The Animal whisperer tried to talk to them- but didn't disturb them or grab them down or anything- yet, they asked us to come back later. They don't force the animals to interact if they aren't in the mood. That was pretty cool to me. They have a pair of parrots and a couple other large birds that are my favorite. One of them had missing feathers and looked rough when we first started to come- but as I asked about her, the whisperer explained how she was a rescue and had a skin condition and a plucking habit due to how it was treated before they got her. Since then- we have seen an amazing change in this beautiful bird- the skin condition is being vet treated and her feathers are growing in and she plucks much less- but if i hadn't asked- I would have thought it was having issues at SeaQuest, not thinking of the life she came from. Her story has inspired me so much- and like the other animals, if she doesn't feel like being out with the public, she can choose not to. They have enclosures in another area where they can be behind the scenes. How many other zoo type attractions do that? I am so impressed with the staff and the care that they have for their animals. Go- visit- and ask questions- don't just walk around... take your time to observe and learn how neat all these animals are. read more

Sea quest is a great place to go for birthday parties, also for family fun. I went there and the staff was super friendly. The best part is probably the inactions with the animals, they also have shows that futures animals. Also I got to high five an otter, and see a real tarantula. I would go there every day if I could I would recommend this location. read more

This facility takes animals and basically places them in large bathtubs. The quality is very low and the staff is not equipped to care for a variety of animals. There is no educational gain to bringing children here unless you want to show them sad animals in sad conditions. read more

After reading the reviews on Groupon I almost didn't want to go but I happy I did and will be going back soon. My kids didn't want to leave and they are pre teens. Not sure what I was expecting but it WASN'T this. Bought a 4 ticket Groupon so we tried it out. When you 1st walk in, you are greeted by the smell of pigs before the actual employee. The cashier is situated between pigs and sloths. Now I know online it says petting zoo but like I said I didnt expect this. I was still thinking it was more of an aquarium. The have like jacuzzi size fish tanks with sting rays, fish and a few ducks. I was excited to see a kangaroo but it was only 2 babies and they were sleep, so were the sloths. It was a bob cat(I think) too. The animals weren't exciting, but the kids seemed to enjoy it. You can also buy tokens to feed the animals we did 15 for $26. Once the kids actually looked at the dried food they didnt want to feed anymore. Dried worms and dried shrimp took them out. It reminded me a little of Zoo ATL, where all the animals are either asleep or on lunch break.We were in and out in 40 minutes and that included walking the gift shop. read more
