First things first, if you are planning to visit Yukinii during dinner time, please get a Coupon and save yourself some euros along the way. I was there last weekend have lunch (the coupon gives you the full/dinner menu) and I have mix feelings about coming back to it.
On one hand, the sushi itself was good, as well as the seafood on the grill (shrimp mainly). They have a decent selection of basic sushi as well as some modern ones (first time I eat "meat sushi) which I enjoyed. Our waitress was super nice, attentive and always smiling, which is highly appreciated.
On the other hand, the owner was not very welcoming, neither helpful. To order your food, they give you a tablet, that allows only to order ten items (consider that a specialty sushi is one piece per order and a regular roll is three pieces per order) every fifteen minutes. While some orders are quick, we had a couple that took 30+ minutes - restaurant was not even half full - and one order was served to another table. On top of that, some items in the menu (the noodles or the soup) were clearly microwaved because they were completely dried out.
Once again, mix feelings about it. The ordering system is not useful at all, you spend more time waiting than eating but some of the sushi rolls were good. read more
