Just look at how the new doctor, someone I hadn't seen before, filled my 18-year-old daughter's teeth. My daughter received these X-rays at a different clinic after her treatment at Sedation Dentistry of Sunny Isles. We had to have all the work redone and pay for the treatment all over again. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend the practice of Dr. Diane Alvarez-Rodriguez and Dr. Francisco Rodriguez. P.S. I haven't had my own new fillings checked yet. Sedation Dentistry of Sunny Isles didn't take new X-rays after the procedure. My daughter and I had to go back to have our bites adjusted, but they were never able to restore my daughter's original bite. To be continued...

It took another 5 years for me to admit I needed them out and I decided to go to Dr Feinerman after hearing for years how great he is. 1. Hes seriously awesome. All my fears were totally squashed after meeting him. Seriously I was convinced I was going to go permanently numb and lose all feeling and taste in my mouth. That didnt happen and the milkshake I just devoured was glorious. Granted I'm still numb so spilling milkshake all over myself definitely happened. I'm not even bleeding. Which is good (see point 3). 2. He told me exactly what he was going to do and what would happen. All of his prognosis was good. Mind you I'm still numb and on painkillers but I can still Yelp like a pro, so it couldn't be that bad. He also listened to EVERYTHING I said from my concerns to where my veins were so that the IV didnt kill me. 3. I woke up and started laughing because I almost dry heaved due to the gauze. Than I couldn't stop laughing. These drugs are great. No pain and constant entertainment. I legit cant tell you what's funny, but I can tell you the experience is fun. 4. I was seriously worried about being Chip and Dale's long lost sister. NO SWELLING so far. And no excruciating pain. All of my fears were literally for no reason I should have listened to my dad (if you know him, dont tell me him I said this as he will hold it over my head for the rest of my natural life during this I told you so moment). This incompetent dentist broke one of my good…read moreteeth into fragments while attempting to remove a wisdom tooth that he claimed I needed to have removed. Dr. Mufson's hands shook badly during the procedure and before I could stop him, he broke my tooth and I swallowed the broken pieces. He gave no apology and his assistant, Loretta, who is also his wife, hustled me to the desk to immediately pay. I was stunned. I tried disputing his charges on my credit catd but got nowhere. I found out afterwards from an aquaintance of mine that Dr. Richard Mufson left a piece of bone in her mouth causing her an emergency visit to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Do not use this oral surgeon under any circumstances. This money hungry dentist also took CT scans and x-rays that I just had done a few days before to grab more money from me with no dental insurance (I didn't need the additional dangerous radiation either). Don't believe those old 5 star reviews. This older man's hands shake terribly. He needs to immefiately retire.

Informed them ahead of the appointment that this was my initial visit and I was going to need the X-rays, assessment, and cleaning. The answer was yes. I received the same answer upon arrival. I had X-rays, no assessment, unless you count touching once with the tip of the instrument the top of the lower molars as a mouth assessment, and no cleaning at all. This so called dentist that is working in place of Dr. Jacobs used the short time we were together to sell a deep cleaning and got me out of the chair so fast, that despite the low opinion I had already formed, he was able to surprise me. He refused to perform the cleaning I was there for, he bragged he was the one with decision power, and laughed literally when I said that I should be the one deciding if I want a service performed. I have no idea why Delta Dental keeps this office in its list. This office is a joke. Dr. Jacobs may be the owner, but he is not running the show.
